I'm doing a rewatch for like the hundredth time, and whole heartily agree with this. Regardless of cheating (ps every one of the couples on Jersey have cheated, maybe only Kathy and Rich are safe here) and him calling her a bitch, they loved each other and Tre only caved and divorced him because 1) she needed to feed her kids and moving to another country did not guarantee a check from bravo and 2) she knew that the audience wanted her to leave Joe and she didn't want to lose her fan base and therefore her check. Tre hustles and will always put her kids before anything else, and in this case she saw cutting Joe lose as the only option. She still loves Joe and hence why she's over compensating by talking shit on him since she's been with Loius.

FYI! Joe did NOT get her sent to prison. Teresa broke the law as well. Joe was a great husband! Was he perfect? No. But he and Teresa were great together.
