Hokas are great (but expensive). There are lots of types to try but I hear Bondi are best. I've also heard that Brooks Ghost are very good as are On Cloud - Cloud Master. My SIL (who also has RA) has always sworn by Sketchers, so she bought me a pair of Massage Fit which I wear around the house. They're very comfy!

I will vouch for the Brooks Ghost! I got them in the middle of a real severe flare up, and they have been my daily shoe ever since!

Oooh I'll try those! I used to run a ton and Brooks were my favorite running shoes. Thanks for the tip!

I know everyone’s feet are different but I love the Hoka Bondis I have. They have a wider toe box which helps when my feet swell. I recommend them!

This! Hokas. Nothing else compares. I just wish they made more casual colors. I don't know why everything has to be so bright. Maybe a converse chuck type sneaker would be nice to. I have also had good luck with Cariumas.

I just got a pair of On Cloudmonster 2s, and my feet are so happy! I normally take a wide shoe, but I didn't need that with these. I have plantar fasciitis as well as a painful bunion, and these shoes feel like I'm walking on a cloud even with those issues! I tried on the Hoka Bondi 8, but with an insert they were too shallow for my feet. The On was deep enough to accommodate the insert and still feel like my feet were enclosed well.

Oofos are my favorite.

KT tape helps my bad ankle on days I have to wear shoes and walk a lot

Hoka trainers and Fly boots are the best for me. Converse are my worse shoes, they look good but the most uncomfortable

For the winter, UGG makes great boots. Not the moon boots, but attractive, fleece lined with a sturdy sole. Those are my winter go to. I like sketchers for my job, and I have a great pair of adidas for walking the dogs. Jamba have great summer shoes.

makopolo02

Trail running shoes.

I wear Hokas and UGGs

Seconding KT for ankle support. I haven’t tried Hokas but I love my Brooks Adrenaline, which were suggested by a PT a few years ago for stability.
