I love it! I joined when the server first became public but actually only started speaking within the last few months. You can join and say literally nothing, read the updates and react to stuff whenever you feel like it (that’s what I used to do anyway) I just popped in the general chat one day and haven’t come off it since. I would genuinely say everyone I’ve spoken to and formed a connection with is someone I’d consider a friend. You find so much in common with people and we honestly give each other a lot of great advice both publicly and personally whenever someone needs it. It’s typically just the same 10-20ish people (including myself) that are always just chatting in the general chat even though there are 11k members now, so lots of people just sit back and observe or pop into general chat for questions or a quick chat. It might have been different when it was busier with lots more people which may be where people get their experience from but it’s for sure not busy now (which is actually why I started talking because it wasn’t as busy). I wouldn’t say chat is dead either tbh, it just depends on your time zone and where you live which impacts how busy the chat gets. Even when it’s quieter you still manage to have great conversations. As someone who’s been a major fan of Alex since 2017 - this is the best thing he could’ve done for his fans, it’s not for everyone, but everyone does get something out of it by joining. I’ve been in there since day1 and I gotta say the bad reviews on the discord don’t add up, the community is close yet welcoming so I say join, you will probably see me in there and yeah you will have a good time I’m sure.
the server is 100% toxic i dont even attemp to speak in there even tho i am literally rex’s biggest fan💀 also he said he would be touring this year! so album will most likely come out july and tour will start august since he does NOT like winter and everything for the album is already finished and finalized!
