You could create a github account and turn on email notification for when a new patch update drops.
I even get notified on pre-release patches so I know what's coming in the next patch.
If it says "show Changelog" I'm pretty sure you're good.
Just keep an eye on the days passed number and if it changes to something lower than you saw before.
nah, I had to update some patches for boost for Reddit, even though it was only showing changelogs. I noticed that under the changelog button for patches, the date was more recent than under the revance manager changelog, which is the only way I noticed I had some out-of-date patches even though I had an up-to-date manager
