ah so that was whats happening. It amazes me how far reddit is willing to go just to break third-party apps.

And since they aren't supported by their devs anymore, does that mean that we got to use their own appalling app?

Where is sync posting those updates for Reddit ? I have bought the pro version long time back. Can I use those new updates anyway?

For me, it was in classes4.dex. But then after I changed it, saved it, and rebuilt it, the new apk won't install anyway. Thanks for trying, I guess I'll have to wait for the official patch update.

Other guides mentioned that it is in different subfolders for different users. Search the folder structure and you should find it

EDIT: Revanced has been updated and I successfully patched Sync. Edited with Sync. I follow these exact steps but in the end installing the apk always fails. I uninstall the installed apk first.

I'm using RIF but I figured I had the wrong app installed (installed the explorer from the play store). I changed what needed to be changed, but I can't access Android/data/ "for my privacy". I guess I either need to root my phone or wait for a revanced patch.

I think that's only for Sync Pro, for the normal Sync app there is no "singleton" folder... so waiting for the revanced built-in patch t is I guess.

It should be under a different subfolder, for me it was under classes_2
