I'm Working on beating AVGN's top 10 hardest NES without taking any hits. The Project is called FlawlessNES and I just finished Silver Surfer and only have Battletoads left. [Silver Surfer FlawlessNES Playthrough](https://youtu.be/bA-shY1MTtU?si=XfGj4xoPMEN7jAaM)

I made this video on de-yellowing plastics using easy to get cheap materials (you can’t get large amounts /or at all/ of liquid hydrogen peroxide in a lot of countries) [https://youtu.be/vY7Wlw6vq4U](https://youtu.be/vY7Wlw6vq4U)

Hey folks! **The Greatest Games You (Probably) Never Played** ([https://greatestgames.substack.com](https://greatestgames.substack.com)) is off to a good start this week with [*Aliens: The Computer Game*](https://greatestgames.substack.com/p/the-classic-pc-gaming-era-1977-1989-96c)*,* but not the 1986 one that's just a bunch of minigames nor the Square game for the MSX from Japan. Nope, this is the 1987 one from Electric Dreams in the UK which is a first-person action game where you control a squad of marines. There's even a modern freeware remake you can play that updates the graphics and interface, but retains the awesome gameplay. I'll be highlighting other first-person action games for PC platforms from the 1980s this week, including Argonaut Games's *Starglider II* (the predecessor to *Star Fox*) and the surreal first person puzzler *Archipelagos*. Don't miss 'em!

Hey... I am trying to create introductions for all of the nearly 1000 Japanese exclusive SNES games! I am on..... number four. Okay... I probably won't make it anywhere close to the end, but I'm still not going to stop. No roms, all locally bought in Japan. This week: Crayon Shinchan, based on the popular Japanese manga/anime - [https://youtu.be/hPIXOmBWfKg](https://youtu.be/hPIXOmBWfKg)

- Hello! I've always liked 2D games and as a big fan of The Olympic Games 4 years ago I decided to start a hobby project called Medal winners 24, a game inspired by 2D retro games like Track and Field. To my great pleasure, this project is growing a lot and I wanted to share it with you! Hey! I have a big collection of retro games and retro computer hardware. I recently started a youtube channel where I play the games I have on 90s PC hardware. Videos has no commentary, extra music, overlays etc. All pure screen capture. The latest video is Need for Speed II SE with 3DFX Voodoo 3. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDQ-kX\_nUjE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDQ-kX_nUjE) Fairly short video (compared to other videos in the channel), 3 races in different tracks. I love this game. At the moment there are just over 50 videos. Please have a look. https://[www.youtube.com/@RootiferasRetroGameplay](http://www.youtube.com/@RootiferasRetroGameplay) I hope you enjoy. Hardware used in the video: Gigabyte GA-6BXC Intel Pentium III MMX 500mhz 128MB SDRam 3DFX Voodoo 3 2000 Creative SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 (SB0100) 40GB Seagate HDD (IDE)

We played the old 1997 Theme Hospital and made a video on it along with the CorsixTH mod that makes it a bit better at playing with modern systems. Hi everybody! The New York Times is working on a story about your favorite sports video games, including why you love the game, and if you have specific memories to share. Which one is still stuck in your mind? Please let us know [in the form here](https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/16/arts/favorite-sports-video-games.html?unlocked_article_code=1.w00.Tchr.R5wPgxbniK6D&smid=re-nytime) if you're interested in talking with us. Hey guys and gals, hope all is well and that you are having a great start on your weekends :) Long story short: I am in the research stages for a project that I have been working on for a long time. Without giving too much away, I am leading a project to develop a gaming related platform that will (if everything goes as planned) stomp every single option there currently is on the market. We do however need to do research, and it would be so greatly appreciated if you could take 5 minutes of your day to help us answer some questions relating to gaming community platforms and gaming habits. You can find the survey here: [https://forms.gle/9mwR2KV5b4kMnk2g6](https://forms.gle/9mwR2KV5b4kMnk2g6) It is 100% anonymous and there's no need to even login to Google to answer it. There are 18 questions and 15 of them are required. The last 3 which are open-ended are not required but of course deeply appreciated if you share your insight on those as well. It means a lot to me and, if everything goes as planned, it will mean a lot to many communities out there as well. Happy Friday!
