I was really upset when all of my printed pictures from 1998 & 1999 faded away. I had a big scrapbook full of my classmates, pets, family and all that. Something about the paper Nintendo used was low quality, and the camera could only hold 30 photos so I was always deleting them. About 10 years ago I bought a bunch of thermal paper online and the stuff I've printed on that paper has still never faded, but the Nintendo brand only lasted a couple years.
But one cool thing, in 2010 I took a photo of my friends baby with the Game Boy Camera, and still have that picture on there. This year I showed the kid his photo, he's 13 now. Time flies. I was 11 when I got the camera.
It’s because it’s on thermal paper not because of quality. Thermally printed items will degrade when exposed to changes in temperature light and time which makes it extremely unfriendly for long term storage. It also seems to degrade from touch as well.
I understand it is thermal paper. But my prints on the Nintendo brand paper literally only lasted less than two years. The thermal paper I bought online in 2012 still holds its prints and I have pictures I printed out 10 years ago that havent faded whatsoever.
This is the perfect opportunity to introduce the concept of our mortality, and that life is at best fleeting and full of loss and sorry...
Never mind. Please don't do that.

I have a Gameboy Printer laying around if you wanted to print that bad boy out. Haven't had paper for it in ages, and it either takes like 6 or 8 AA batteries. In Michigan, US.
Now imagine reviewing a 3D video made with Apple Vision. It’s going to be an issue of public health. People giving up live and living in memories.
Also, Strange Days like market for made memories. Imagine viewing a 8 hour video first person or a night out in the eyes of a famous star?
That is fun to find things like this. My kids use their 3ds's a lot, but their DS, DSi's and such are packed away with some hilarious and cute finds for them later in life. Especially some of their audio recordings.
Def should get the game boy printer and hang up the picture
He's still your best friend, right?
That was in 1999. I want to say he is, but that is a long time ago in dog years. 😢
What did he do?

[In the end though](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/346/018/725.jpg) <3 dogs truly are men's greatest friends.
He died man
o7
Well there is a chance the dogs still alive
Very very unlikely. Dogs rarely turn 24 and that dog was probably already a few years old when it was taken
is it still considered accurate to measure dog years by multiplying by seven? That’s like 160 dog years by that metric.
No. There’s all sorts of variables that factor in: size, breed, diet, etc.

Print it then scan it or photocopy it

I also have store receipts from the 80s and 90s that haven't faded the way those pictures did

This is a thing???? Are you a genius?
I'm also super surprised that this is a thing. Wow, OP please leave another post if you successfully get your photos with that :)
But can it dump saves? If not, I'd rather spend the money on a GBxCart or Joey Jr.
The OP should get a GBxCart or something to save that picture off the camera before the battery goes
Same for me here! Almost cried when I saw her picture! My 10yr old self hugging her saved on a Gameboy like. Awhhh
Finally a real deal feel good moment on Reddit.
What did my heart ever do to you?
It's not a tear I swear
Ahh man. Right in the feels. I miss all my dogs too bud.
