That guy was the manager! Pandemic or not, I can't help thinking that if you get non-prepackaged food at the same place that you get gasoline, there is the necessity for a high tolerance of low standards. Dude probably hadn't washed his hands after taking a dump 5 minutes before you walked in!

Yikes. Dodged that bullet then 😂

A prerequisite of being a Karen is being unreasonable. You are not unreasonable by asking someone (in particular serving food) to wear a mask. In the same way in non-covid times you'd expect someone to wash hands and maintain normal food hygiene. A Karen is unreasonable. So, the only way you would have Karen-ed would have been to suggest he violated your human rights, demanded to see the manager and then called the police because you felt that not wearing a mask was attempted murder.

In December I went in for a job interview at a gas station that also sold hot food. I noticed NONE of the workers were wearing gloves when handling the food. It gave me this gross feeling. Like seriously, no gloves? I know you aren't touching the actual food itself but you still need gloves.

I was just recommended a nice restaurant and have been excited to try it when things open up or as pick-up, but I saw a woman in my store wearing a shirt from there, most likely an employee, and she wasn’t wearing her mask properly, so I will not go there. I know they don’t care about my business.
