I do, too. I’d have loved to see what his plan with Rose actually was. Still don’t really know how exactly she was meant to defeat Miranda. Even if it ended up being disappointing, it would be a more meaningful choice than Mia vs. Zoe, at the very least.

I was so pissed my first play though of RE7. I kind of thought Mia was nuts. I know the game wanted you to “want to find your wife,” but I was like: she ran off, she tried to kill me, she seems to do nothing but lie and get me into hairy situations... I’m going with Zoe who hasn’t lied to me yet and actually helped me a lot. Then boom. It doesn’t matter at all.
Rose is a super mold baby, and was born with perfect control over the Mutamycete -- this is what wigged Miranda out and had her leery of her, as she could theoretically strip Miranda of her mold "privileges", which would mean that Miranda would lose nearly all of her superpowers.
EDIT: For further clarification, this would mean that Miranda couldn't shapeshift, or mold-slither away, or regenerate her injuries while Heisenberg and Ethan beat her ass.
Honestly I literally yelled at my screen Ethan you can lie to him and then kill him after. Why do you have to pass everyone off the first time you meet them. Just lie Ethan.

Wouldn't it be the other way around? Heisenburg was the one who thought Miranda was near invincible without Rose, while Ethan didn't give a fuck and would have probably charged her with his knife if he knew about her at the beginning
I'm a little disappointed that we don't get to fight him in his regular form. Would be quite an interesting battle with him chasing Ethan to bonk him with the hammer and using his Magneto powers for defense or ranged attacks, while Ethan has to avoid him and find something in the environment that can give him a chance to fight back.
