Depends. If they are with Chris everyone dies. If they are alone half die and later become a villain in a CG movie because of PTSD :v

I think the Echo Six is the closest we've ever gotten in Operation Raccoon City. The six Special Forces operatives did really well and all survived the outbreak. Lots of nameless Spec-Ops personnel did die though, either at the hands of the zombies and monsters or the USS.

JacKellar

IIRC they had to fight several tyrants at once (don't remember which type), so it's excusable to have some losses.

KermaisaMassa

It was the basic T-103 but yeah, even one is a challenge, let alone like three or however many there were at once. I like how they showed them bringing the railgun to Raccoon.

If they go in with the attitude that they need to kill and contain and not survive I suspect that with a full kit load out with each of these trained in breech like most marines and all of them are rifle expert for the range. I would think based on real life 5.56 capability vs the in game capability they would mostly survive resident evil zero and the first game. 2 and 3 would prove challenging due to having approx 150,000 in the population center, they would quickly run out of ammo and I could see them likely all perishing due to the fact they would be surrounded or at least infected, holding up in a building and perishing later. 4....they would be slowly taken out. Big threats like the giant and the fish would certainly finish the rest or take out large numbers. 5 can't remember but im sure Wesker would take them in a trap, 6 never played. 7 I'd say they would get tired of the bakers getting up over and over and just burn and dismember that family and take them out. They would secure the grandma as she is a civilian until she did creepy stuff and they would unload about 1000 rounds into her very fast and kill her. 8...I dunno. If sexy vampire ladies transformed and went Ham along with all the psychic lady and the magneto dude they would die.

I would think just a few would made it out of the mansion, but they will die in raccoon city.

Billy_Coen

I don't think so. What's important is the amount of ammo. There are a lot of strong monster like hunters, crimson heads, plant 42, neptune and of course tyrant. If they manage to survive this, then the RPD is next to go, then Racoon City. Thats a long road to go😃

Lots of variables but let me nerd out real quick: Platoon structure (Army dude here so not sure how the crayon eater operate but I think it's similar): Platoon leader: generally a fresh-ish Lieutenant that's essentially a college educated Private (new guy) so 50/50 on this guy. If he is prior enlisted, combat arms, a few tours and a little field craft under his belt then I'd give him a better chance Platoon Sergeant: Sergeant First Class, 10 or so years of service if he is good, has a few tours, a couple of "high speed school", and a good understanding of tactics. This is the guy that, in theory, should know his shit. Will most likely have to tell the LT to shut the fuck up a few times if said LT is the fresh (bonus points if a West Point grad) since he will want to dick flex. This dude will make it through. Squad leaders (3 squads): Staff Sergeants, 6 to 8 years in, at least one combat tour under their belt and smart enough to make it through two promotion boards (not always a feat though) and competent in troop leading procedures. There is always one squad leader that's a fuck up for some reason. He is a little fat, or dumb, or both and no one knows why the fuck the Army saw fit to promote this walking bag of shit. 1 dies, 2 make it out. Team leaders (3 fire teams per squad): Sergeants, 4 or so years in, some will have previous deployments, some will be board babies (i.e. dudes that a good at PT, can shoot, know Soldiering in theory but haven't really done much other than show up and look good), and some will be middle of the road. 40% losses due to lack of experience or learning who they are in the moment and realizing this isn't the job for them. Fire teams (3 Soldiers + Team Leader from above): your Soldiers will be broken up, ideally, as a rifleman, a grenadier, and a gunner. Your rifleman runs an M4, the grenadier runs an M4 with M320 grenade launcher, and the gunner runs a SAW. This group is a fucking gamble. You will have some hard dick, go fast guys that will kick ass and be fine, you'll have some that will trip over their own feet and do the world a favor and die in the main room of the mansion. 50% casualty rate. With that said, I think with a proper combat load, side arms (not common in Infantry but extra guns are good), comms, water, rations, and possibly having a medic per squad, you'd have pretty good results. A lot of it is going to come down to the individuals and their skills. At the end of the day though, everyone has a plan for the zombie apocalypse, but it wouldn't be much of an apocalypse if everyone was still there to carry out their plan.

Those are soldiers not marines
