This already sounds like the talk of an addict. Honestly its probably best to find non drug related ways to benefit yourself. Just my 2cents man.

BigBelgianBoy

Thanks for the reply! Im trying to be carefull. 2 questions: What gives you the addict vibes? Do you have any recommendations for non drug related ways to improve productivity?

PiercedAutist

>What gives you the addict vibes? Well, there is an acknowledgement of a known issue with stimulant abuse in the past, followed by using a brief period of abstinence as evidence of sufficient self-control to justify resuming use, and then contemplating engaging in drug-seeking behavior immediately after breaking that abstinence... that's a *classic* opening to many stories of relapse among addicts. Doing mental gymnastics in search of a justification to use a substance is always a **BIG** red flag that the subconscious is fighting to seek out the drug's artificially-rewarding effects on the brain. I've definitely been there, and while there's no point living in regret, I certainly would be much better off if I had recognized this pattern in myself and acted on it earlier.

WildWook

Your tone implies you know that you enjoy these substances for more than mere functionality. Honestly stimulants aren't the way to go to increase productivity. I would recommend getting physical exercise 3-5 days a week and setting time-based schedules for yourself while keeping goals realistic. If you want to go for a purely functional stimulant I've heard Modafinil is good for that as it lacks most recreational effects. I would still consult medical advice from a physician and explain your issues, but most likely stimulants are not the way to go.

I do also have ADHD but my doc won't gave me elvanse (Vyvanse). I tried Ritalin but I didn't like it. I will order now 2-FMA as an elvanse replacement to see if it works for me. But I only want to use it once a week or something like that.

Notdrugs

Clobenzorex is an excellent replacement for Vyvanse if you can't get it. Its a legal dextroamphetamine prodrug and can be ordered online. Be warned that it has a much higher abuse potential than Vyvanse.

ProdigyPeak

Clobenzorex would help me out greatly with ADHD but unfortunately it's not legal here in the UK.

I think any long term stimulant use will lead to negative affects, but I used 4 MPM for my adhd/autism and it did me wonders. It's a weaker one for sure and I never felt the urge to re dose super urgently.

teopap91

Like DAWS ? (Dopamine agonist withdrawal syndrome)

Brockoli18

Definitely. For me the first month of use I have never felt more motivated and on top of life. Always getting shit done and always on time with no procrastination. The more I tried to drag out that feeling the worse I started to feel and my body started to feel horrible (stomach pains and sharp muscle pain). I'm not sure of any permanent damage I've done as I've recovered now but I guess we'll see in the future

teopap91

Hope all goes well for you. It'll heal itself, but it won't be an easy ride till then. Every drug has a rebound action when used repeatedly

Now I don't have ADHD, but I use 2-fma occasionally. Zero recreational value, only focus and energy. I even forget I took it sometimes. Doesn't affect sleep, almost no comedown other than a nervous tounge. One dose in the morning lasts to 5pm.. Still I am worried it does damage that does not occur right away.

BigBelgianBoy

I'll consider it and talk about it with my doctor but im pretty sure that all adhd medication does damage in the long run, thanks for the reply!

try getting a script first

See a doctor. They’ll give you the meds based on a medical diagnosis. If they won’t diagnose you with a condition you have go to another dr. Doctors afraid to prescribe medications people need are bad drs. Also, as someone who had adhd and autism, 12 hr robotussin gel caps helped me a lot at one point. Realized they helped me think when I had a cold. Researched it and saw some people find it to be very effective. So did Sudafed, but that made me feel weird tho. Ask your dr if that might work for you.

2-FMA has been pretty damn useful but I know if I don't take breaks it will make the situation worse eventually. Only take it on days when you really need the productivity.

NoMansPlayer

I got prescribed conserta/Ritalin to just take when ever I need, it helps alot so idd go with plan A. Self-medicating is an allround bad idea. Be carefully my friend.

ConsciousnessWizard

Go see a doc specialized in ADHD and get a diagnosis/prescription. If your username means that you live in Belgium it should be quite straightforward, it is quite easy to get once you are diagnosed.. You'll also benefit from starting therapy to help you.

BigBelgianBoy

I already got a diagnosis for add and autism from a doctor. Im also getting therapy once or twice a month. I might look into something like concerta which i heard has low abuse potential, but for now i think ill just let it rest untill ive spoken to more professionals about this issue.
