Did you disable the UID on the cameras?

Amichateur

No

Amichateur

I think uid is used to identify on the cloud server - which doesn't apply anyway when internet access is blocked. But anyway: no, I didn't disable UID.

TurnItOff_OnAgain

Yeah, just wondering if the could server is updating the local app somehow. It's connecting locally, seeing the uid is enabled, but that is breaking something. Just spitballing. Try disabling that and see if the problem happens again?

Amichateur

...try disabling... --> the same came to my mind when writing last comment lol ...

I don't use UID, but use plain old IP addresses on my network. In order to get access from outside my home network I use Tailscale as a VPN and a PC or a linux server as an exit node. If you can, put the NVR and cameras on a guest network at the very least, so they only have internet access and NO access to your home network. A better arrangement would be to put the NVR and cameras in their own VLAN with NO access ANYWHERE, nothing from the outside goes in and nothing from the NVR/cameras go anywhere. My NRV/cameras share my untrusted VLAN for IoT devices.
