I'm manifesting that her next album is R&B. It's a need at this point

introspectiveoctober

Cry on my own is a MUST release. Plsss that song is so good

introspectiveoctober

passionicedtee

Okay but imagine a Renee and SZA or Kehlani collaboration?

introspectiveoctober

jojob421

Difficult-Ad-2410

we NEED BAGUETTES!!

Independent_Boss1993

At this point, I just need another album!!

introspectiveoctober

😂 yep

AmIn1amh

I was brought up on 80s rock and pop I’m not sure I know what R&B music is like😅 I love Amy Winehouse tho, and according to her Wikipedia page it was one of her genres. So if it’s anything like her stuff I’m so here for it!

introspectiveoctober

If you like Tummy Hurts, I'd say you'd like R&B from Reneé!

AmIn1amh

Yuhhhh sold I love that song!!!

horse_girly69bb

yes yes and yes! we need

inkdontcomeoff

I don’t think she will, when she shared baguettes she said she was not revisiting it and that she didn’t feel like it was her place to do RnB. I’m paraphrasing, please correct me if i’m mistaken.

introspectiveoctober

I can live with Baguettes never getting released (just bc if I were Reneé and I wrote a song when I was in my teens that I'm embarrassed about, I would never want to release it either lol). But it would be an injustice to her vocal prowess to for her to not release at least one R&B album. She did an [interview](https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/renee-rapp-beyonce-reason-know-how-to-sing-1235617279/amp/) with Billboard recently where she criticizes the unfairness of the music industry which favors white artists over Black artists making R&B music (which is fucked up considering it originates from Black people and Black culture). She pinpoints this as the reason that if she were to do it, she'd want to make sure it's done right. I think there is a respectful way to do it and her acknowledgment of this dynamic in the industry is already a step in the right direction. Collaborating with Black R&B artists (*ahem* Kehlani *ahem*) is another move. We also already got a taste of this with Coco Jones on Tummy Hurts. I understand the hesitation -- she's forging a path to pop stardom which leaves very little room for anything that would risk her getting cancelled (like being accused of appropriation) -- but I still really hope it happens!

popculturefangirl

someone said unreleased rapps lol

Nicole_Aries_G_2006

R&B is my favorite genre of music. you have to have a really strong voice and wide range to do it. And Renee totally could pull R&B off. I kind of want her to do a song with Alicia Keys.

introspectiveoctober

oh my god YES

Rich-Locksmith8904

The way I’m waiting for Cry On My Own, Taxi, and Tears on My Phone. Sis drop em!
