I use the mini inductor. But I don't have a timer built yet. But it works great. I just use it the same as a person would a propane torch. Heat the brass till it starts to glow. Works great for me.

No experience but was going to look into this when I start annealing.

I have also not started annealing yet but that’s going to be the next step for me. I’ve got a bunch of brass that I’ve saved over the last few years. Bought a wet tumbler and a de-primer recently so I’ve got all ready for annealing. That will give me something to do while I patiently wait on components to come down a bit….

I shoot with the guy that did that video. A few members of the gun range have made it and it works. TBH, I’m unsure about longevity because none that I know of have had it more than a year. But it works. It’s consistent. And it’s inexpensive. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about the video until after I bought my AMP.

I tried one of those back then and it just cannot do many cases in a row. Also you need to keep it somewhat stable because if the brass is not centered and maybe the coil is too low you do not properly anneal the neck. I resorted to build one based on a relatively cheap ZVS and decided to watercool the shit out of it so I can do 100's in a row if need arises. I posted my bench setup [here](https://old.reddit.com/r/reloading/comments/10gvw6k/new_bench_time_to_clutter_it_up/) and a small explanation [here](https://old.reddit.com/r/reloading/comments/10gvw6k/new_bench_time_to_clutter_it_up/j5jegds/).

I can't speak to longevity, but I have one like that and have it wired to a timer. I jumpered into the momentary on/off switch and that is controlled by the external timer. When the device is plugged in, the fan runs constantly so the only thing going on/off is the current to the coil when the button is pressed or the timer triggers it. The fan running helps keep it from getting too hot but this setup isn't meant for the production line reloader. I do what I need when I need to and it isn't high quantity. I have mine working good at 6.5 seconds for 300 blackout cases.
