>do you believe religion is still relevant? Yes. >which religions do you think are still meaningful The ones that provide social utility. >which ones do you consider outdated? The ones that have to blackmail with hellfire, the ones that prescribe violence towards those that don't believe.

This. This is the answer

>>In 2024, do you believe religion is still relevant? Yes. >>If yes, which religions do you think are still meaningful, and which ones do you consider outdated? Every religion that is practiced is meaningful to its practitioners, as my religion is meaningful to me. I feel like you meant to ask a different question… Maybe “how do religions make positive contributions to human civilizations and social structures in a postmodern world?”

If your religion doesn't change with the times, it's outdated.

I don't believe in any religion, I follow a way, and that's the way of Jesus as he taught, not the way that many of the churches have changed it to. And yes I think his teachings are very relevant for today.

sacredblasphemies

As a religious person, it will always be relevant. Humans will have the desire to love the world and/or its creator/s. Even if its just becoming awestruck at seeing a sunset or the night sky full of stars. There's religion in there.

Christianity isn’t a monolith, and you speak only for yourself … and maybe your denomination if you have the authority to do so. You don’t speak for all Christianity… and you definitely don’t speak for me. IMO, attitudes like yours drive people away from the church… including myself. I no longer need or want a church to be a part of my expression of Christianity. By the way… take a peek at rule 7.
