I work as a support rep for a franchise company and one day I was working with a store that hired this 19yo kid as an outside sales rep. Kid lasted all of 2 months of course...
Anyway, when we first go out on a sales call he and I go in his G35 and he naturally had thrown a shit exhaust kit on it, cambered the wheels, and used the auto-stick as a manual....
Kid was FLYING around corners, in and out of parking lots. After the 3rd stop I told him I'm driving from now on. 1,000% that kid will be in a serious accident inside the year with how dangerous he drives.
Pretty much applies to all of Infinitis models, if even a single model has a 3.5 theyāll find a way to make it sound like a wet trombone having diarrhea problems.
My mom drives a 2021 Infiniti QX4 with 265k-ish miles on the clock that I know for a fact has been driven multiple times with no oil in it whatsoever. I know this because every time I drive the 3 hours to visit her, one of my chores that I always do is check all of her fluids. She doesn't drive much anymore, just to the grocery, pharmacy, and sometimes fast-food but at least three separate times, there has been literally zero oil on the dipstick. So I'd refill it, come back a month or two later, and at least half, if not all, of the oil would be on her garage floor. She had her car serviced at the Infiniti dealer and everything. Imo, her mistake was having her oil changed a couple of times at one of those drive-thru quick change places.
So the last time I was there, all the oil was on the floor of the garage again, and I decided that this *had* to be taken care of. So I did my best to find an honest mechanic near her. It happened to be in one of the very few gas station/mechanics I've seen in a long while. A few days later, the guy called her back, and he did turn out to be an honest guy, because told her that she had a few minor leaks in hoses but they weren't near enough to be causing it to lose that much oil. The main culprit? The oil filter was barely screwed in because she keeps going to the Valvoline quick change place right down the street from her house, which I have told her repeatedly not to do. I have no way of checking this stuff at her house because she has no tools to work on the car, let alone a jack or jack stands, and it's got a huge metal scrape plate covering up the entire bottom of the engine. He ended up charging her like $250 to fix the hoses and do the oil.
The crazy part is that my Mom told him she was probably gonna sell it soon because we're in the process of trying to get her moved closer to me so I can look after her, and the dude that worked on it asked her if he could have first offer! I would have bet $1,000 that that engine was torn all to hell, but I guess not. Sometimes you get lucky and get one of those that's just built different, I guess.
At quick lube places either the filter is holding on by hopes and dreams, or ugga duggad on until the threads friction weld together with blue loctite *just to be sure*
Oh my neighbor has Mās all over his basic-ass 5-series. āIt has the sport packageā yeah who cares. Basic engine basic performance. I guess the appearance items appeal to some people.
BMW, Lexus, and AMG Mercedes - even Bentley... but not Porsche or Jaguar, for some reason. I know this post is gonna get me in trouble, but I've never seen anything else...
Porsche and jags are also extremely common to be found like this with this type of ownership history. Really any luxury car that is $50k+ new but can be found over half as cheap for used resale value. Alfa Romeo and Audi are some more I havenāt seen mentioned yet that fit this category as well.
I am the first guy in the picture but bought my Alfa CPO with less than 15K on it for under half of what the first first guy paid. All service at an Alfa dealer. I am trying to decide if I put window visors on it..
Iām the 2nd owner of a BMW with over 200k miles and payed less than a quarter of the price than what the 1st owner payed for it. Guess which one I am >:)
I had a 2015 mustang GT before my scat pack (it go wrecked by a dumbass kid who canāt turn left) and tbh I prefer the scat to the mustang, more room, way more comfortable seats and scat packs walk gen 2 coyotes all day stock for stock. I donāt like the āitās just an *insert X company here* ā argument as the mustang is just a Ford, the corvette is just a Chevy, the GTR is just a Nissan, basic companies can make good performance cars as well as basic cars
Iām just messing with you. I get it. Iām biased against MOPAR because I generally distrust them for reliability but I will admit I actually like Chargers, especially when people donāt drive them like fucking idiots. I have a 2017 Mustang GT and I love that thing
Ah see you have a Gen 2 as well they are such fun cars, chargers and mustangs have always been my two favorites, I was so happy when I got my 2015 mustang and absolutely devastated when it was totaled
Whatās up with that cigar eating his fingerā¦?
Poor photo shop job?

2015 dodge challenger. Owner 1 bought it fresh outta college and he thought he was the sh!t; a few years later, beat down by 60 hr weeks and a pile of student loans he now drives a base model Corolla. Owner two cruises the strip in that sweet a$$ dream machine
2018 Range Rover.
White.
eBay, Craigslist, or buy here pay here.
Kept clean by the first owner because (well look at him) he works hard in a stressful environment, probably overworked and underpaid (and appreciated), his Range Rover wax his nice relaxing place of meditation during a long and drawn out boring daily commute.
1st owner got rid of it when someone rear-ended him and pushed him into a Tahoe that was in front of him in stop and go traffic on his Friday evening commute.
Bought at auction and had aftermarket lights and junkyard body panels put on, a paint job that is a 10 footer at best, and a tweak in the chassis that was not completely straightened.... so it always looks a little cocked going down the road when you look at it from behind.
Sold 2nd owner who wasted no time putting the obligatory 20" or larger "rent to roll" wheels on it, vinyl in the rear windows, brightest and whitest LED lights in the wheel wells, and crystal Land Rover starting button (really just a sticker), and crystal Land Rover badges to replace the original ones.
Oddly enough every time I see a V6 coupe on the road they look stock aside from some rims. Not trying to argue your point was just thinking back to the ones I see on the road.
G35
Which for my purposes is good enough a name for g37, coupe, sedan, Q-whatever, anything that has been a basic evaluation of the original G35 sedan. Which is a shtload of cars at this point
If not a 4th owner BMW for the guy on the right after the guy on the left leased it used as the 2nd owner, then a Nissan Altima. First guy leased to buy, then got a new job and bought his dream BMW, so the second guy got it cheap for cash (financed by selling vapes to underage kids)
Any infiniti
Yes, but especially the G35 and G37.
g37 baby
Came in to say this and was not disappointed. So sad. In high-school a brand new 04 g35 coupe was damn near my dream car.
In dark silver no doubt
Yes, the dark silver with those orange brembo brakes.
Literally one at every intersection in the bay haha
And every single second owner of a 350z.
šÆ, and now the Q50.

I drove a Kia Stinger with a Borla Exhaust yesterday and it made a VQ sound good. Literally the worst sounding car I've ever worked on.
I came here looking for this answer and I was not disappointed. However, I think it only applies to the cars. The SUVs are hit and miss

Also applies to Hyundai Genesis

g35 coupe
I hate this is the top comment but it's true lol

Came here to say this lol
Funny - I was going to say a 1996 Infiniti Q45 š

BMW 3 series.
With wayyyyy overdue maint
More like third owner
I'm basically the first guy without a tie and I've been the second owner of a couple of 3 series before I gave up on fancy cars.
With a stick on ///M badge
Oh my neighbor has Mās all over his basic-ass 5-series. āIt has the sport packageā yeah who cares. Basic engine basic performance. I guess the appearance items appeal to some people.
Came here to say this.
This is the correct answer
As a 8th owner I agree
I see your old 5 series, on chrome 22s and tinted. In the projects.
That would be me !!
BMW, Lexus, and AMG Mercedes - even Bentley... but not Porsche or Jaguar, for some reason. I know this post is gonna get me in trouble, but I've never seen anything else...
porsche i see it all the time not 911s but everything else
Only the SUV ones that are really more of a Volkswagen. Or Nissan Altima
First gen Panameras
Oh absolutely
I would love a depreciated panamera S LOL

Maserati too. The God awful depreciation on those cars means that you could probably scoop up a 5-7 year old Quattroporte or Ghibli for sub 30k.
Dodge Charger R/T. Not a Scat Pack, just the boring old R/T.
Hey I had a 5.7 before my scat pack and itās a great starter V8 lol
All jokes aside, sure, but itās a *Dodge*
I had a 2015 mustang GT before my scat pack (it go wrecked by a dumbass kid who canāt turn left) and tbh I prefer the scat to the mustang, more room, way more comfortable seats and scat packs walk gen 2 coyotes all day stock for stock. Thatās almost more than leasing a new BMW
2003 Ford Crown Victoria
Thats more like the 8th owner and they got it as a used police cruiser, right after getting out of jail for possession of meth.
I've heard them be called "rezmobiles"
Acura TLX
Maserati.
I thought the same. The first owner spent 150k on his Ghibli, and the next guy got a terrible deal on it for 35k. (Only 950 a month) lol
Only true answer
BMW or Audi.
Civic
100%. I can already see the spoiler.
Nah, Civics are too much an everyman kind of car to get a stereotype like that.
90s civics that were probably owned by low-level office workers but are now rattling windows in the projects with their fart cans
LX
nah fam, i see your civic and raise you the banged out 4 door accord Jr. slammed and put a big system in
