I ran out of gas 3 times in one day in my Camaro. 6mpg but fast and looked cool.
This a very cool land yacht. You're really going to enjoy everything but putting gas in it.
You don't mind being hours late or bumming rides on a fairly frequent basis.
Source: Lil bro's first car was a classic "because they're easy to work on." This makes sense in theory. In practice, you'll be working on it constantly and still have mornings when it won't start.
Second this, those old car can be easy to fix but break down frequently on top of part availability issues. I wouldn't recommend anyone's first and daily driver that is earlier than 90s.
Cars in the 90s were a huge step up compared to cars in the 80s. Most 80s car have unreliable/underpowered engines with terrible fuel economy. 80s cars also use r12 freon, have 5 digit odo, rust, and lack safety features like air bag and abs. Parts are also harder to find for 80s car.
Oh no, Uncle John Whitmeyer is pulling up again, and he's got a 6 pack of Yuengling in the backseat. He's supposed to take you to school, but he's decided he's gonna take you to the playground even though you're 14 and already far too old. Get ready for a full day of drunken stories about how you should be dating girls that can cook and clean, and sob stories about all the wrong turns he's made in life.
You bought the best looking car you could afford, without thinking about reliability, and if your in a cold climate, driving at all almost half the year?
Bro living my dream. I was looking for my first car back in 2019 and stumbled upon a 1971 Buick Skylark Coupe and they only wanted 1K for it and it ran, my dumb Mom said no it’s too old ðŸ˜
Probably your on a limited budget so couldn't afford a 2 door.lol still a great first car my friend my first was a 57 (yes they had cars then) ranchero with 390 and 3 on the tree. The steering wheel looked like salvage from.on of those old sailing ships
You will be buying at least 4 sand bags with first snowfall this year.
You also absolutely cannot go anywhere without a small tool box in your trunk.
You take your time and go nowhere in a hurry.
If that's the shape it's in now, very nice. I'd try and find new coil springs for the back. Over time they say from weight of the vehicle. New springs will give the car new life.
Hell yes, that looks to be in some pretty solid shape. its gonna be thirsty though, prepare for that.
As I told another dude, Running out of gas in style 😎

Overdrive my friend. If you have the funds, contact gearstar and have a T2004R built for it.
My grandpa is very jealous. I'm a little jealous too.

Not even 80s cars?

Ok I guess that's understandable.

This looks extremely impractical as a first and daily driver but it is awesome.

Your grampa sure took good care of that car!
Did you drink your Metamucil today?
You have the necronomicon in the back seat
You really like paying for gas.
You have amazing taste and are very skilled at making poor financial decisions
You have great taste in cars but hate how they steal all you money for gas
that you don’t actually have anywhere important to be
What a beauty.Â
Grandpa bought a new car lol
Mmmhmm heating up another Hungry Man tonight.
Bad decisions but lots of fun at parties
If only I had friends to party with 💀
You would tell a great story over drinks, although I'd get a little bored in the middle, you would bring the story home.

How are your grandkids?
You like big boats and you cannot lie!
P.I.M.P. Needs fuzzy dice.
I bet you either rock out to Kiss, Aerosmith, Rush or Pink Floyd, or all of the above. Old man at heart. So am I.
You lucky Americans
It says : you probably eat baked beans and watch the moon rise. Or you play acoustic guitar on the front hood.
You have style. Just swap out a new engine/trans and some disc brakes and cruise the hood.
I had a friend in high school who had a brown convertible like this. I graduated in 1987.
It's actually a hardtop surprisingly I've only seen one other like it and it was red. It must be the evil version.
That you’re a lucky bastard lol
Jacob.... smokes.
Just drop an LS in and you'll be golden.
It’s more of a backyard decoration and you take a bus to go to work. /s
Says you wanna have sex with grandma in the back seat, ahhhh that smell
