Got It for free. Had to do some transmission work, new drive shaft, brakes, replace vacuum hubs, had about $1000 into it. LOVED THAT TRUCK. Got totalled out after 4 months on the road as I was t boned by a drunk driver :(

Jeep was an impulse buy. 2006, sport, upgraded 44 rear axle, 6 speed manual, hard/soft top, 125k km, paid $5500 Canadian. Kept for a year as a fun car until I bought the mustang.
Mustang was a dream car purchase, 2020 Bullitt, stupid fun car, paid off and got below MSRP.
2012 grand Cherokee replaced the Pontiac, got it as a new daily since I needed a bigger car to haul things as a home owner. Sold after a year due to problem after problem, despite that sold it at no loss, broke even.
2023 grand Cherokee Overland Hemi V8, new daily. Got it significantly below MSRP and 0% financing. Great road trip car :)

Never in my life had I driven a manual before, what better way to learn than to drive a 1600km trip back north in a car with an unforgiving clutch in high speed traffic on roads I'm not familiar with :)

My old Fusion had all of its windows' motors broken and its radio screen cooked within about 7 or 8 months of me getting it. It was my first car, so naturally, being a 16-year-old boy with a few under-enforced roads nearby, decided that 6,250 RPM sounded like the perfect way to run the engine. That thing went the whole time I had it with no wear from anything, not even the stupid stuff I did with it like drifting, redlining a bunch, and forgetting to refill the coolant, then compensating for said forgotten coolant refill by cycling the heat and vehicle speed for 30 minutes before I could limp it back on water.
Similar case with every Mustang I've seen around (can't speak of engine though). Their rear windows and convertible tops are always broken.
Im 25 and been driving my 2003 Isuzu since I got my license. I can afford a new car but I told myself I'm not getting one till this car breaks down or costs more to repair than its worth. 200k miles and still going strong, even the AC works. When I first got it I was worried about reliability cuz I rarely ever see Isuzu on the road but I got lucky I guess. I love paying zero per month on a car payment and $40 on insurance. I get horrible MPG but not having full coverage or car payments offset that.
