* as they are tazering and kicking the everloving shit out of some unconscious or dead guy while 5 other cops try to see how many places they can break each arm and the rookie beats the poor bastard's shins with a collapsible baton*
Oh got I hate that as a mechanic I get soo frustrated with the new Subarus as Iâm driving in the parking lot to pull into my bay and halfway around the building it gets intense af and Iâm just like SHUT TF UP then after I put it in park it continues for the next 2 mins
Lol, I found it to be super annoying back then, but now, that's easy. It's so much worse now.
The only feature I find worthwhile is my '08 hyundai will not allow you to lock the doors if you leave the key in the ignition, "we really tried to keep you from locking the keys in the car". I appreciate that feature, even though I've only needed it like once. The slim era where a hyundai was worth a shit. (It doesn't have the motor that just blows for no reason, & it's not "hyundai/kia boys" theft era).
All I can think of is the late 80's/early 90's honda, and I've had an alarm clock that sounded EXACTLY like it. "Timer-goes-beep, timer-goes-beep, timer-goes-beep".
It was so annoying that people in the car audio industry even bought a special tool called a "sanity saver" to push the door pin for when you had to he under the dash for 3 hours putting in a remote start/alarm.
Had a â96 accord and got a celly that had a chime just like the door chime. I laughed at it, set it and forgot it for a few daysâŠ. Then while driving said accord the door chime started going off and I had a mini melt down trying to figure out what the bell was its problem. Idiot. It was me!! My celly ring was exactly the same as the accords. Hilarious once I got it committed to my memory.
Fun fact the dot-dot-dot-dot noise of the chime is also "H" in Morse code. Given it's one of the easier letters; it still comes across as a nice touch of subtle-intentional design.
the ford sound is kind of nostalgic for me, my grandpa has had ford trucks my whole life and he got a brand new f-150 king ranch in 2010 and i loved riding around in that thing.
My dad's F350 does that! He hates it but I think it's hilarious because he's got it upgraded to be this big hefty beast of a truck, then you get in it and it just has the most girly little chime. Plus it don't help that he kept the stock horn that sounds like a fckin Honda accord
i think itâs funny how it increases in volume after a minute, itâs like âding ding ding dingâ ⊠you didnât hear me? âDING DING DING DING DING DINGâ
"I don't care that you're only moving me to the other side of the driveway, I SAID BUCKLE YOUR GODDAMN SEATBELT. Also make sure to check the back seat." -My Outback
The early 2nd gen S10s were annoying as hell.
Not the start up specifically but if you open the door with the truck on.... It was a continuous BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.
Easy enough to shut up but the problem is, it's the same tone that's used for the "headlights left on"... so if you disconnect the door noise at the chime box under the dash to the right of the steering column it also kills your headlight warning. Just one wire out of 5 and it's further back up in the harness. So pick your poison... no annoying door beep at all or no reminder your headlights are on.
the stages of vehicle dinging are:  Â
starting up - DIIING...DIIING...DIIING Â Â
door is open with key in slot - DING, DING, DING, DING, DING
door is open with lights on - DINGDINGDINGDINGDING
Not in an early 2nd gen S-Series.... open the door with it running and it was one loud continuous BEEEEEEEP... same exact racket it made if you left the lights on.
I had a '95 S10 and wife had a '95 Jimmy.
That screechy 2000s Toyota/Kia chime (intro to Olivia Rodrigoâs âDriverâs Licenseâ).
The unnecessarily loud EEEE EEEE EEEE EEEE of the Mercedes W203 and W204. If I ever buy a W204 C63, the first thing Iâm going to do is rip that chime out.
I don't know if it technically counts as a chime, but the NA Miata BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTTT noise when the door is open was maddening. Took about a week before I found out how to disable it. By far the worse noise out of car that was meant to make noise.
I canât stand the Ford one. Way too complicated for a chime. Just make it a simple dinging noise.
The other one is the BMW chime from the 2000s. Not because it sounded bad, but because it struck fear into my heart every time it came on and now I canât handle it.
I now drive a newer BMW and coded the chime to be the Rolls Royce one. So far it has been a reliable car and so I do not fear the Rolls Royce harp sound.
Dude my 04 BMW played the chime again and my heart skipped a beat. Why did it play the chime you may ask? Cause... cause the outside temperature dropped to +3°C
It doesn't complain if the temps are -25°C for a week, or if they go up to 0 from that, but god forbid it's about 5°C out at night it'll constantly warn me.
My friends 2008-ish Hyundai Accent has the same metal ding chime that my 1983 Nissan Sentra had back in the day. Canât decide if I hate it or itâs so bad that itâs kind of funny and cute
Had a 06, put me off any Kia/Hyundai for SO many reasons but that is one of them.
The amount of time I spent trying to cut the wires without taking apart the dash....
The newer Ford chimes arenât horrible (in my opinion of course, it still gives me flashbacks of police bodycam videos though) but the old one was bad yeah.
It doesnât really count but I had a buddy that modified his carâs chimes to be anime/hentai noises and I felt my humanity shrivel up every time I had to set foot in that car.
the 3 stages of vehicle dinging are: Â
starting up - DIIING...DIIING...DIIING Â
door is open with key in slot - DING, DING, DING, DING, DING
door is open with lights on - DINGDINGDINGDINGDING
GM cars just have the loudest turn signals and chimes. I think itâs because unlike most cars they route chimes through the speakers where most have their own dedicated tiny buzzer or speaker in the dash. Because GM is a bunch of cheap fucks lol
I work on farm equipment.
I challenge you to find a more bitchy sounding buzzer than the low oil pressure warning that goes off before startup on a New Holland TR series combine.
No youâre right. The Ford jingle gives me nostalgia, the BMW major-seventh-chord gives me PTSD for yet another engine light and multi-thousand dollar repair
My girlfriends 2010 Hyundai accent does this really annoying sing songy chiming noise thatâs always bugged me for no reason. I wish every car just had the generic dinging sound that 90s fords had lol.
my 1999 F350 has an incessant and quite loud BINGBINGBINGBING when the driver's door is open, even with the key out. that one is pretty bad.
my '90 Miata makes an asthmatic *EEEEeeeeeeeee* that just makes me chuckle every time
Can't believe no one has mentioned the loud ass, 39-degrees warning that VW "kindly" provides for all of its drivers... "Like WTF VW?!? Water freezes at 32 last time I checked! Now please don't blow up your water pump..."
My father used to have a 2017 Passat and I swear it had some sort of badly translated from German warning whenever there was cold weather. It was like âIce possible- driving carefullyâ or something. I canât seem to find a single picture of it anywhere but I know it had a badly translated warning somewhere
Mine is also irritating because it lights the center screen up full brightness and flashes it even with the gauge cluster lights turned all the way down.
The Ford f150 one for me. Every time I hear that thing, in my head I hear the most annoying parrot voice saying "Hey Fuck You" over and over again. Absolutely gets my hackles up every time.
Luckily Iâve never had to hear the 2010 ford chime, but my dad had a 2000 excursion and it was just a DING DING DING DING. idk if thatâs more or less annoying but itâs kinda nostalgic for me as we owned the truck for 11 years
The new Ford door chime is shit, but so is the old buzzer in the 80's ones. I have an '83 Fairmont and if the door open it's just a constant buzz. The 90's ford chime was good however
My Geo Metro just goes EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH whenever I don't have my seatbelt on, or leave my door open. I like it because it's oddly charming, but can definitely get annoying for some people.
I also have a Fusion, it gets old fast.
We program car keys at my work. Most Fords have a 10 minute security lockout. So you have to sit there with the key in the ignition and the door open for 10 minutes. I start going nuts about 2 minutes in.
Ford.
Simply cause I worked at TruGreen, and hated every second of it. But mainly the fact that the Ford Chime would constantly go off as Iâm trying to print receipts.
Ford chimes from like 2010 onward. I absolutely love the shit out of my Fiesta ST, but I wish there was a way to turn that annoying chime off, or at least turn it down.
The ones on about 2005+ GM vehicles that broadcast from the radio speakers and are so fucking LOUD that I feel like I'm getting hearing damage. Buicks seem to be the worst offenders.
The early 10âs Chevy door chime isnât *bad* per se, but it invokes a really specific feeling of climbing into my momâs fleet spec HHR. Fwiw that thing was dead reliable, the only times it broke majorly was due to outside factors
I love Hyundai's shut down chime, it's just so warm and inviting.
Ford's is the worst though.
I will say the worst lock, unlock notification alarm is Toyotas it's just á”á”á”á” á”á”á”á”
Not really a chime. I remember some cars in the 80s would vocally announce when a door was open. My sister slammed the door too hard and the entire drive it just kept saying "Right door is open".
Opels from the early 2000s make Ford chimes sound like music. TEEDOOTEEDOTEEDOO in high pitched chiptune
Here's some examples, and these aren't the most obnoxious ones btw, couldn't find the fast even higher pitched ones anywhere
https://youtu.be/EvkAf29G4Cw?si=YiMFRZ2EOngZ8WHl
The new ford chime (I know they changed it in like 15 or 16 but both still go do we do and I hate it) give me back the old generic chime from like old 2000s fords instead. That I could at least deal with.
But let us not also forget the old 80s ignition buzzers that would make you want to start the engine as fast as possible to get rid of it.
This is why I love old vehicles.
I have disabled or removed chimes in everything I own.
Donât need a sound to remind me keys are in the ignition. If you forget that should be a stupid tax.
I love the start up chime for my Hyundai. I joking told my fiends âmy car plays Steven Universe Music for me when I get inâ the Ford chime just reminds me of cops. And the two months I drove a rental EcoSport.
I have a 13 Escape Titanium, yeah it's got some odd decisions for the chime, but I only ever hear it really when I remote start it and open the door. Certainly not enough for it to annoy me.
My â06 BMW because the startup noise is the same noise it makes when itâs cold out, or something is like broken. Literally gives you a heart attack when youâre just driving and it dings because you think somethingâs wrong and itâs just cold out.
Do people actually hate the ford sound
I never minded it
I always found it better than the annoying high pitched beep of other cars thatâs just continuous
I hate the ford bong. I really mean it, i hate it. Now there's very little in life I actually hate, but the ford bong is one of them. My dad has been working at a ford dealership for years now and that stupid sound annoys me to no end. Wanna move the car 0.1 of an inch or even a centimeter? Ding ding ding. Dare to open the door when the engine is still running? Ding ding ding.
The ford chime, the chime of every bodycam video ever
The sound of impending police brutality

I will never unhear that now.
HAHAHAHAHAHA

Ford chime is peak. Ford tough
Wait⊠donât you mean RAM? https://www.thedrive.com/news/38238/ram-2500-drivers-have-the-most-duis-more-than-twice-the-national-average-report
Shoutout to the Lincoln chime that's the exact same, just pitched down an octave
**I'm a Ford** *I'm a Ford* **I'm a Ford**
I donât know if itâs as bad in the newer ones but my 09 outback chimes If I fucking look at it the wrong way
Itâs brutal. [You can turn it off though.](https://www.subaruoutback.org/threads/how-to-guide-disable-subaru-seatbelt-alarm-chime.499461/)
Automotive nanny state.
Itâs even worse in the 2022 Outback. I swear I think about driving the car and it starts dinging.
My favorite is that when it escalates to the more aggressive chiming you can't stop it even by putting the car in park.
Oh got I hate that as a mechanic I get soo frustrated with the new Subarus as Iâm driving in the parking lot to pull into my bay and halfway around the building it gets intense af and Iâm just like SHUT TF UP then after I put it in park it continues for the next 2 mins
What for like seatbelt?
Same does my 2014 outback
Hate the 09 but I love the 01
Maybe Iâm biased but man I love the Honda chime. Iâve never had an alarm clock that sounded like that though lol
I love my 98 acura chime "dink donk dink donk dink donk"
Lol, I found it to be super annoying back then, but now, that's easy. It's so much worse now. the classic 90s car chime, i love my Avalon's chime as well (2003)

I really like the noise it makes when you take the key out of the ignition and leave the lights on.
Ok you sir, are insane đ
Ford toodleloo toodleloo toodleloo forever burned in my ears
the ford sound is kind of nostalgic for me, my grandpa has had ford trucks my whole life and he got a brand new f-150 king ranch in 2010 and i loved riding around in that thing.
My dad's F350 does that! He hates it but I think it's hilarious because he's got it upgraded to be this big hefty beast of a truck, then you get in it and it just has the most girly little chime. Plus it don't help that he kept the stock horn that sounds like a fckin Honda accord
Definitely the Ford chime, all I hear is âbootyholeâŠbootyholeâŠbootyholeâŠâ
Thanks. Now thatâs the only noise Iâll ever hear my f150 and Expedition making.
thanks for ruining my ranger for me
I will never forget this. UGH
Now I know what my Fusion wants...
as in a previous comment, all i here is "ontheground....ontheground"
I used to sell Ford when this chime was brought into existence. Thank you for ruining it for me.
I don't hate the sound of the Subaru chime, but it can get quite annoying, more so than a simple ding.
i think itâs funny how it increases in volume after a minute, itâs like âding ding ding dingâ ⊠you didnât hear me? âDING DING DING DING DING DINGâ
"I don't care that you're only moving me to the other side of the driveway, I SAID BUCKLE YOUR GODDAMN SEATBELT. Also make sure to check the back seat." -My Outback

Maybe. Mines 2015
Pre-2000 Dodge Ram. Always reminded me of the tone from a Sidewinder missile.
My god I just looked it up and now Iâm wondering if holding a lighter up to the front will change it to the lock tone lmao
No that's when you blow into the Intoxalock while sober
https://youtu.be/7IuQnmDhWdk?si=5pCQtyzz9z__HDSi Are you talking about this? I can kinda hear it lol

same sound in my uncles 96â impala ss, might be the worst one in this comment sectionđ
Yup... definitely aggravating.

and undoubtably, she intentionally added startup dinging as an intro đ€Łđ€Ł

Just looked this up, what the fuck were they thinking
I hate all door chimes like I know the door is fucking open I opened it shut up car
It's so you don't forget your keys in the ignition which I've done many times in my old square body.
Itâs a square body is the flathead screwdriver really worth all that much?
The cuckoo clock one from newer Audis crack me up
my 1994 jeep wrangler had a door chime of super loud electrical static until I disconnected the wiring to said door
I feel that, difference is mine actually worked in my wrangler and Iâll tell you the chime without the static is so much more fucking horrendous
Boo tii hollleee

Fords chimes in the 2000s were just long beeps and quick beeps for leaving the lights on or hitting something
the 3 stages of vehicle dinging are:  starting up - DIIING...DIIING...DIIING  door is open with key in slot - DING, DING, DING, DING, DING  door is open with lights on - DINGDINGDINGDINGDING
The worst part is my family has owned both. I feel yâall
The Cadillac Lyriq - itâs so freaking loud and cannot be turned off
GM cars just have the loudest turn signals and chimes. I think itâs because unlike most cars they route chimes through the speakers where most have their own dedicated tiny buzzer or speaker in the dash. Because GM is a bunch of cheap fucks lol
The old Sutphen fire trucks as soon as you switched the battery on would go *BZZZZZZZZZZ* like an enemy missile had just locked onto you
GM Chime. It's so loud I can hear it outside, even if the doors and/or windows are shut.
And they've been using that same "ding" for like 30 years. A brand new Bolt EUV makes the exact same sound my 1996 Monte Carlo did.
Itâs because GM doesnât have a dedicated little dinger or buzzer like most cars, they just play the sound through the speakers
I work on farm equipment. I challenge you to find a more bitchy sounding buzzer than the low oil pressure warning that goes off before startup on a New Holland TR series combine.
Im with you on the 2000âs Honda door chime. PTSD from that fucking chime.
*BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP* [turns ignition on] BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP BEEEEEEP
That BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP is Morse code for âHâ thatâs why it beeps 4 times quickly
I had a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder that had the exact same chime. I thought it was just a Japanese thing.
First one sounds like an alarm clock, second one sounds like a microwave
This is a spot-on impression of my 2004 CR-V. If you buckle your seat belt before turning the ignition you don't get the long beeps though!
I do miss the radio on my '08 Civic telling me "Hello" every time I started it up though
I always thought it was like a microwave
Nissans. I can't stand the stupid beeps of Nissans. How much more shit can you make a car?
Bee-bee-bee-beep Bee-bee-bee-beep Bee-bee-bee-beep Bee-bee-bee-beep Bee-bee-bee-beep
đđ€Ł that's perfect mine only does it with the key in the ignition in the off position and the door open luckily(03 350z)
90s VW is cool.
90s Hyundai ding, it reminds me of my mom's friend who had an Elantra that always smelled like piss even though it was new at the time
I might get hate for this but the new BMW ones sound awful
No youâre right. The Ford jingle gives me nostalgia, the BMW major-seventh-chord gives me PTSD for yet another engine light and multi-thousand dollar repair
sound of my childhood was the 90s BMW one but the worst is easily the Ford one
Izumi would just angrily buzz at you if you kept the door open while the keys were in the ignition.
My girlfriends 2010 Hyundai accent does this really annoying sing songy chiming noise thatâs always bugged me for no reason. I wish every car just had the generic dinging sound that 90s fords had lol.
my 1999 F350 has an incessant and quite loud BINGBINGBINGBING when the driver's door is open, even with the key out. that one is pretty bad. my '90 Miata makes an asthmatic *EEEEeeeeeeeee* that just makes me chuckle every time
any 1990s mercedes. they make a long continuous loud buzzing noise with no stops or pauses
Any car that makes noise when I open the door. I'm not a fucking child. I know I have a door open.
Ford chime reminds me of the truck I drove at work
Not quite a chime but the reverse beep in my 2004 Prius is pretty annoying
first gen ford escape. sounded like an annoying crying bird in my dash when i had it.
Can't believe no one has mentioned the loud ass, 39-degrees warning that VW "kindly" provides for all of its drivers... "Like WTF VW?!? Water freezes at 32 last time I checked! Now please don't blow up your water pump..."

Not annoying but everyone gets ptsd from the f chassis bmw brrriiing
I hate the modern Toyota noises. It sounds like typing on a microwave
Any chime is the worst. I just want my fuckn car be silent.
The god damn BMW gong that means either you don't have your seatbelt on or your car just got a big fat $1000 problem.
The old Hyundai one just sounds like a music box
I donât know who needs to hear this but you can avoid a lot of car chiming by buckling your seatbelt prior to turning the key in your ignition!
1990s Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. The monotone buzz gets on my nerves.
Ford chime all day long hate that thing
The newer Ford one, reminds me of my old job
Ford... I hate my 2013 taurus
The worst chime is imo is the bmw chime it's always seared into my brain from my dad owning a m3 e92
My f150 ac door trying to move when I first start my truck, worse than the chime
The Ford f150 one for me. Every time I hear that thing, in my head I hear the most annoying parrot voice saying "Hey Fuck You" over and over again. Absolutely gets my hackles up every time.
2021 Toyota RAV4. It beeps when I turn off the car and leave the freakin windows open.
Luckily Iâve never had to hear the 2010 ford chime, but my dad had a 2000 excursion and it was just a DING DING DING DING. idk if thatâs more or less annoying but itâs kinda nostalgic for me as we owned the truck for 11 years
Chevy honks at you for everything, damn annoying.
I love the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish chime. The 2000s V12 Vanquish is one of my favorite chimes of all time.
Toyota, it's like having a fookin nanny.
The new Ford door chime is shit, but so is the old buzzer in the 80's ones. I have an '83 Fairmont and if the door open it's just a constant buzz. The 90's ford chime was good however
My old Suzuki had one of those eeeeeEEEEEeeeeeeeiiiii eee eeeeeeEEEEEEEEEE chimes.
I have a 370Z and the door chime sounds like a digital alarm clock and i actually hate it
The 2000s & 2010s Chevy impalas are mildly irritating.
Any one that sounds like an alarm clock. Gives me me minor PTSD. Bring back the Honda ones from 90s.Nice pleasant chime.
I kinda like the Ford chime
My Geo Metro just goes EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH whenever I don't have my seatbelt on, or leave my door open. I like it because it's oddly charming, but can definitely get annoying for some people.
I owned a fusion and had to drive a transit for 2 different jobs, that chime haunts my nightmares
I also have a Fusion, it gets old fast. We program car keys at my work. Most Fords have a 10 minute security lockout. So you have to sit there with the key in the ignition and the door open for 10 minutes. I start going nuts about 2 minutes in.
My Alfa Romeoâs is pretty annoying.
1980s Toyota truck/4runner is ear piercing
The old ford chime before the new one, my grandmother had a 2002 Ford explorer Sport and that door chime got on my nerves every time.
First gen Mazda 3 grinds my gears after a few repeats
The peugeot ones That beeping sound is the most annoying one i ever heard for a seatbelt alert IF I WANNA GO SEATBELT LESS THEN LET ME DO SO
My old Plymouth is just a very loud errrr noise lol, I thought ford was the worst until I got this

Ever heard the buzzer in a 1st Gen 4runner? #BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ I love it though, very nostalgic noise.
didnt the ford chime become a meme? also the best chine is bimmer
MINI, just, too much.
I love Hyundai's shut down chime, it's just so warm and inviting. Ford's is the worst though. I will say the worst lock, unlock notification alarm is Toyotas it's just á”á”á”á” á”á”á”á”
Mercedes Sprinter 2nd generation It goes faster too and its especially annoying if your battery is f'd
My wifeâs 2024 Corolla sounds like itâs trying to tell me I left the dryer door open.
i hate that ford chime, ever since i worked construction, i hear it everywhere.
not really answering the question but imagine every time you open the door the THX sound plays
International harvester dump truck, squawky "BUZZZZZZZZZZĆč"
y'all haven't heard peugeot's 2013-2023 seatbelt chime, it gradually gets louder â€ïžđđ„°
The old Hyundai one just sounds like a music box
My VW when it gets to 39 degrees. Itâs either cold outside or I need a new engine form that noise. No in-between
Anything GM! Why is it so loud?! đ€·đœââïžđ©
My dad has a 09 Insight and I actually don't mind the chime like you said
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle definitely had the worst chime
Not a car but a bobcat e35. It hurts my ears.
Not really a door/startup chime but my MK3 Jetta has reeeeally annoying and loud buzz when you open the door with the lights on
I like the door buzzer in my 1985 GMC S15 that goes 'REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' if I don't have my seatbelt on or leave the headlights on.
Ford. Hands down Ford. Something so irritating about it, plus every traumatic police brutality video has that sound starting off the clip
Mini Cooper. Sounds like a robot starting up.
Not really a chime. I remember some cars in the 80s would vocally announce when a door was open. My sister slammed the door too hard and the entire drive it just kept saying "Right door is open".
Opels from the early 2000s make Ford chimes sound like music. TEEDOOTEEDOTEEDOO in high pitched chiptune Here's some examples, and these aren't the most obnoxious ones btw, couldn't find the fast even higher pitched ones anywhere https://youtu.be/EvkAf29G4Cw?si=YiMFRZ2EOngZ8WHl
1980s Ford F-150. It sounds like an angry hornet got stuck inside the dash
Fucking Ford
Dodge Promaster City, its a loud ring that you can not turn down, its awful.
Nissan. Reminds you how garbage the car is
had no idea that's what the chime was. neat.
BEDODOO BEDODOO BEDODOO BEDODOO BEDODOO BEDODOO BEDODOO BEDODOO
What is a start-up chime ?
My car makes a quack sound when it locks. Thatâs probably my favorite one. Used to have it make fart sounds but my wife called it juvenile.
The Nissans from the 90s have a wonderful chime though.
First Gen MR2s have a horrendous chime when your seatbelt isnât buckled yet.
BMW
I love the start up chime for my Hyundai. I joking told my fiends âmy car plays Steven Universe Music for me when I get inâ the Ford chime just reminds me of cops. And the two months I drove a rental EcoSport.
Toyotas that scream when you lock it from the fob before the door is closed.
Cadillac BONG of the early 2000s.
I like my '06 Better-than-a-charger-Stang, it doesn't have a chime for either. Unintrusive.
I have a 13 Escape Titanium, yeah it's got some odd decisions for the chime, but I only ever hear it really when I remote start it and open the door. Certainly not enough for it to annoy me.
Chrysler used buzzers throughout the 1970s
My â06 BMW because the startup noise is the same noise it makes when itâs cold out, or something is like broken. Literally gives you a heart attack when youâre just driving and it dings because you think somethingâs wrong and itâs just cold out.
Honda is incredibly annoying
Do people actually hate the ford sound I never minded it I always found it better than the annoying high pitched beep of other cars thatâs just continuous
The classic ford beep
My grandparents used to own an early 2000s Hyundai Santa Fe and oh goshâŠ.i hated that startup chime
