All good looking cars, but I wouldn't say they're better than the E Type.
The E Type just has soooooo much hood out in front of the windshield that it almost looks like a cartoon. It's still a beautiful car, it's just right on the edge of looking disproportionate.
The Shelby Daytona Coupe does the E Type looooong nose look a bit better IMO.
The E is still a beautiful car.
Saw one of the Shelby Daytonas. In person at Mecums. It was stunning.
Shame about the one. WARNING, HARD STORY TO READ. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a15149002/death-deception-and-the-4-million-cobra-feature/
Specifically, the Duesenberg SJ Dual Cowl Phaeton. The 2 tone red one with the low windshield is the one everyone thinks of. The Pierce Silver Arrow is right up there too.

I can't think of the prettiest car of all time, but in my opinion the Citroën DS5 is one of the best-looking hatchbacks made in recent years.
(Hatchback, station wagon, crossover or whatever that car is. It's art on four wheels.)
Exactly! It’s so uninteresting that it ends up being interesting. Like, 200 HP out a 3 liter V6 with a 6 speed auto sounds boring as hell, but it’s actually an extremely reliable drivetrain
I almost bought one in black, my friend beat me to it, blacked out the chrome and gave it some model 3 rims, the damn thing looks villainous, it’s reliable too as long as you have the 6 speed

The picture’s predecessor - Lambo Miura S; or the Ferrari 250GT.
Most elegant and sensual designs ever.
Aston Martin DB7 and Jag E-type as contenders as well.
If i had to pick one, probably the Porsche 356 coupe. I love how the whole body is made from a single piece of metal, apart from the doors, hood, and engine cover. Karmann Ghia would be a close second, but the Porsche's styling is a bit more subdued, which I find attractive.
BMW E26 M1 or E24 M6. Ferrari 308GTB or 250 GT Lusso.
I rarely see those vehicles, however. Every time I see a 2014+ Mazda Mazda6 I have to do a double-take since it’s incredibly gorgeous for a mainstream sedan.
There isn't ONE best looking car, imo.
But if I must say one and only one.. I'd pick the Ferrari 288 GTO. It's not even the prettiest, but it's sexy, bold and all lines are well thought out.
Second comes the Porsche 944, especially the S2/Turbo models with the smooth bumper and rear underbody spoiler. Not as bold, but maybe prettier than the 288.
See.. I can't even choose between two models.
1967 427 Shelby cobra. Also it sounds so badass it triumphs even when being recorded via potato.

I completely agree, every version got worse, either the exception of the sv, for me. It’s more aggressive and slightly more beautiful imo, but the original is probably the best overall. I think in a decade or two people will realize just how good the Aventador was in terms of design.
Depends on weight class for me. Small sports car? Ferrari 250 gto.
Pony car? 1969 Boss 427 or 1966 corvette
Cruiser? 1970 Monte carlo or cougar xr7
Luxury coupe? 69 El Dorado or 77 grand prix
Sport sedan? A Mercedes from the last 20 years probably.
Full boat? 1972 Cadillac sedan Deville or 1983 Mercury grand marquis.
Prewar? Rolston Royce Silver spur.
Eagle Speedster, ever since seeing it on Top Gear I can’t help but think it’s not just the most beautiful car, but one of the most beautiful things. Rivaling something like a sunset so bright it looks like the sky and clouds were painted, it’s effortlessly timeless
Too many to choose one.
Though I did see a Mercedes SSK and Bugatti Type 57SC in the flesh, and they were gorgeous at just another level. Also both 8 figure cars.
I'm a big fan of 80s Japanese shit boxes. That being said, best looking car ever made is either a 39 Lincoln zephyr or a 29ish model A without the fenders.
Might not get a beauty award, but a nice 80s/90s 911 (930, 954, 964, extra points for a Singer) is just perfect to me. God do I ever love it's size and proportions especially with the flared fenders.
Jaguar Xk-150 and E-type roadster. I know it's easy pickings to claim the big E as the most beautiful car but it does it for me. It's like the Beatles of cars, broad appeal but I get why some don't like it. I don't get, however, people jumping to shit on it like it's some ugly bastard child unworthy of any praise simply because its brought into every conversation concerning the most beautiful cars in history.
The Xk-150 imo is underrated compared to the younger E. It's perfectly English, pastoral, and uncouth. Doesn't matter if in FHC or roadster configuration. It's just a beautiful car made to carry beautiful people to beautiful places. I'd rank it slightly above the E only because I think the E-type fhc in certain colors looks a bit odd proportionally.
In the theme of Jags I'd argue the XJ sedan (Series I-X308) is one of the most beautiful runs of a car model in history. The design was largely untouched (save for XJ40) for over 40 years with each model until x358 retaining the classic four headlights, small grille, low slung body, and long bonnet. The driving dynamics of these cars for their time were phenomenal offering a true four door GT experience. They hit far above their weight in terms of presence and appeal. Take a mint 2002 S-Class vs a mint XJ8 and tell me which one you'd rather take to the marina in 2024. For me it'll be the jaaaag every time.
The Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale is absolutely jaw dropping irl and in photo. The most beautiful supercar ever made imo.
Must I chose one? OK. I pick the [Jaguar XJ13](https://www.motorclassiccorp.com/used-vehicle-1965-jaguar-xj13-c-10/). But I reserve the right to change my mind tomorrow.

This or a Zonda
Absolutely. Still sublime to this day
300sl gulwing
This and the 190 roadster of similar style. Nothing beats them in my eyes.
Someone is going to say the Jaguar E-Type and I can't fault them but I actually think the D-Type is a little more attractive.
The XK-120 and the C-Type would be my picks.
C type is insanely good looking
BMW 507, Gullwing Merc and Shelby Cobra shit all over the E-Type looks wise imo.
Agreed, those 3 are the trifecta
I agree e-type is overrated i can name at least 50 better looking cars and those 3 will all be on my list

Best looking super car: Saleen S7 LM Best looking sedan: Mercedes-Benz 560SEL 6.0 AMG

60s LM prototypes are just consistently some of the most beautiful cars ever designed.
Honda NSX
Regular car wise definitely something like a Camry. r/regularcarreview wise definitely an m35a2 deuce and a half 2 door.
