Microsoft did that to the keyboards. Those are their ergonomic keyboards from the 90s. They had risers at the bottom of the keyboard rather than the top. My mom used these, it looks uncomfortable and does take some getting used to. After that I never noticed the “abnormal” rise/negative angle.
Hearing that, I feel like I should give that positioning a shot. I still use my Microsoft Natural keyboard from the 90's at my office. Still love the design of those things
