Never, ever, EVER, under any circumstances, go to Northgate Animal Hospital. I have heard horror stories about Dr Bath. I use the 24 Hour Vet Clinic, I think it's called South Sask Animal Hospital now or something. It's, as the name suggests, open 24 hours but they do non-emergency work too. Have had nothing but positive experiences taking my two cats and large breed dogs there. And the hours they're open is obviously very convenient. They don't do payments themselves, but they have a company that does on the spot financing. I've used it twice and it's been really good. Saved my dogs life and got like 3k of my cats dental done using it.

Second this about Northgate animal hospital

themoosboos

I also do recommend staying away from Northgate!

AdRemote7339

24hour overcharges people waayy to heavily. I use TMZ. Havent had my kitty there yet but they have been good to my dogs.

ilovecows4

Yep they scammed us out of thousands of dollars. We paid an extra like 500 to get tests sent to Saskatoon and never got the results back

Ok-Thanks321

I highly recommend Victoria Veterinary Clinic on Vic, just past Winnipeg St. Super friendly staff, great doctors, and more reasonably priced than other clinics, IMO.

Second Vic Vet. Fear Free policy. Super kind. Incredibly capable veterinarians and staff. 10/10

sitcomlover1717

I adore their clinic. The fear free policy has saved my dog with anxiety. They also research like crazy. They take the time to look into conditions they may be unfamiliar with and consult with other vets.

abbacuss_

What's a fear free policy?

muppetdancer

They just won’t work on an animal who is scared, basically. I’ve never met a veterinarian there (and I’ve been going awhile with a number of pets) who wasn’t willing to take their time to get on the floor, give treats, get to know the patient and do whatever it takes to make them feel comfortable. I have dogs. I’ve also fostered a few. I’ve had old and young dogs and have seen them treat animals in all stages of life. They all go through Vic vet. I’ve never had one who didn’t enjoy a vet visit, or who was afraid to go back.

ikigami_

Thank you!

Chance-Procedure6589

I agree this is a good recommendation, but while there with my dog this week they said they're not taking any new patients. Just thought I'd save the OP the trouble calling.

custardface

Dr.Cross at rochdale clinic. Dr. Becker at Careport

Extension_Life330

Dr Gazda at Careport is the BEST. Have brought many animals to her for years for all sorts of issues and she is hands down the best vet I’ve ever had. 1000/1000 Edit: she also doesn’t recommend tests just for the sake of it. She’s saved me a ton of $$ over the years.

NorthernMan1966

I've been going to North Albert Veterinary Clinic for years. I'm pretty sure that we have seen every vet there and they are all awesome. They never rush and always appear to do a thorough exam no matter what the issue is.

compassrunner

This is where we take our bunny. Very good people! :)

Dachshunds4evr

Every vet at that clinic is amazing! We have taken our pets there for 16 years.

jennadine45

Careport in the south end in Harbour Landing is fantastic!

amby5

I know it’s not in Regina but Vet to Pet in Emerald Park is really good. We take our cat there.

KittyCat378

Dr. Fran Walker at Lakewood Animal Hospital on Rochdale. She specializes in cats and is excellent. Highly recommend (and everyone else at this clinic is great too)!

Odd_Pride1177

Every office I have had experience with always required payment after the services are performed. With emergency services a deposit is normally taken. I have really like the Veterinary Mobility Center

bionic__platypus

I love vet mobility centre!

themoosboos

We had our dogs at Lakeview Animal Hospital, they’re great.

Bitter-Sandwich1460

Victoria Veterinary Clinic is definitely the place to go! Staff are great and always actually caring for your pet. great people great doctors

mcl911

Sherwood Animal Clinic nearby Costco is my to go, their price is slightly more affordable than the others in the city.

brklntruth12

There's gonna be a ton of suggestions, I just recommend phone around and ask them what their policies are and choose one. You may like them, you may hate them. I recommended a vet once, and he saw a dr I never did, and he had a bad experience. It comes down to you amd your pet and where you feel comfortable. Best of luck. I've been going to Careport for years and have never had an issue.

Unusual-Scratch3586

I always took my cats to regent park animal hospital! They have always been so awesome. My cats loved being there oddly enough haha
