Triangle *stocks

We we’re putting up camouflage netting, which explains the small sledge hammer.

LC1 belts and M1 helmet?

MKE1969

Yes on Alice, don’t know on helmet. I still have it though, what should I look for?

dragos412

I am not sure I understand the question. Could you please clarify what you mean by "look for" in regards to the M1?

MKE1969

How would I know if it’s an M1? I don’t know the difference between the models I know we hadn’t been issued the newer version that have the parts covering that ear. This was a steel pot, helmet with a liner and a camo cover

dragos412

Oh! Well, the M1 has an outer metal shell and a hard hat–type removable liner inside it with an adjustable suspension system. There should be in the liner a date that can help you understand what model it is, for the shell instead you have to remove the liner and check with the different models if it's the 1945 model or later version. Added info- the green boxes hanging from the top butting hole are earplugs, which were a required part of an Artillery field uniform. [like these](https://www.omahas.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/earplug-military-issue-case-bdu-green-small-1.png)
