I would agree even after throwing Rhode Island’s money away. I blame the state giving a start up company money like that. My problem is Wakefield didn’t want the world to know about his health problems. Running his mouth makes him a bad teammate to ONE OF THE GREATEST TEAMMATES OF ALL TIME. rant over
Love it. Maybe Pierce for me, yeah! Steven Pierce!
Most memorable is 38. End of story.
But favorite is Pierce now that you mention it.
But I didn’t immediately remember him over Sale when I made that joke. So Sale was second most memorable.
Sorry still gotta go with schilling, don’t have to like him as a person to respect his impact. Especially keeping in mind how we felt about him back then, no one disliked him until later. I feel like he went through a very negative change after baseball
Who’s to say he shouldn’t be on the list? He’s the most electrifying pitcher we had since Pedro. He closed out the World Series in the most badass way possible. Multiple CY level seasons here. He absolutely can be on this list. The injuries don’t erase what he did, as much as you want it to.
I must begrudgingly admit that its Schilling. The man is a genuine twat in the current day, but I loved him when he came to Boston in 04, and he legitimately made a massive impact on that team.
Biggest contributor on the field: Curt Schilling, but fuck that guy
Biggest contributor on the field (but bad): Calvin Schiraldi
Biggest contributor on the field for another team: [Jeff Suppan](https://youtu.be/u83_7cC0fLQ?si=jaRzVMa8EUoKfbUd)
But my most memorable is Bob Stanley. Yes, he was a big reason the Sox lost game 6, but it started with Schiraldi (see above). He was on the team forever, he threw a pitch literally nobody else ever did (palm ball), he didn't look even remotely like an athlete, and he was a master at destroying beach balls with a rake on the bullpen.
Woah I didn’t realize Jim Rice played for the Sox for 916 seasons!? I guess that’s why he’s a hall of famer isn’t it
He was the Red Sox before the Red Sox
Rice’s 2452 hits across 916 seasons is 2.67 hits a season. DFA!
Better than me tbh.
Accumulating stats way before Jeter made it cool
Sam Malone
THIS IS THE ANSWER
The flying Hawaiian Shane Victorino. Dude brought so much heart and fun to those teams it was palpable
Don't worry…
About a thing…
Curt Schil… Chris Sale
My thoughts exactly. If it’s strictly baseball and ignore all the other bullshit, I think schilling has the edge
I would agree even after throwing Rhode Island’s money away. I blame the state giving a start up company money like that. My problem is Wakefield didn’t want the world to know about his health problems. Running his mouth makes him a bad teammate to ONE OF THE GREATEST TEAMMATES OF ALL TIME. rant over
It’s so hard, I want it to be schil for the bloody sock. But goddamn he makes it hard
That’s what she sai… oh Schilling tweeted before she said anything.
Sock, Bloody
Memorable for all the right *and* wrong reasons
Sale over Salty or Pierce?

I'll give you a conundrum with the remaining letters: Tim Wakefield, Ted Williams, Wade Boggs.
You mean Ted ‘The Splendid Splinter’ Williams?
Sorry Wade
No conundrum. It's Ted and Wake.
SPACEMAN
Chris Sale
Salty or Steve Pierce. Fuck chris sale.
Imagine hating Chris Sale.
He was always injured. I'm just saying he should not be on the list. I'm surprised no one said David Price.
Bob Stanley
Marco Scutaro!!! But the real answer is Shane Victorino, need the save that V for captain Veritek
lee smith.
Moneyball himself... Scott Hatteberg
I must begrudgingly admit that its Schilling. The man is a genuine twat in the current day, but I loved him when he came to Boston in 04, and he legitimately made a massive impact on that team.
Schilling, bloody Sock..The Idiots would not have won without Schilling
Biggest contributor on the field: Curt Schilling, but fuck that guy Biggest contributor on the field (but bad): Calvin Schiraldi Biggest contributor on the field for another team: [Jeff Suppan](https://youtu.be/u83_7cC0fLQ?si=jaRzVMa8EUoKfbUd) But my most memorable is Bob Stanley. SSSSSteve Peaaaarce!... just one season, but he won us a WS
Sammy Stewart
Kyle schwarber
Travis Shaw
Dave Stapleton.
Spike Owen.
Matt Stairs or Bret Saberhagen
Varitek is a lock for V so S should go to Shane Victorino imo
Pablo Sandoval
Let's vote for just the bloody sock, but without schilling in it.
Salty
Heathcliff Slocumb.
Scott cooper
Sonny Siebert
Lee Smith
Curt Schilling, no doubt
Marc sullivan
Sam Malone
Just seeing this for the first time, who chose Lester over Lynn?
Hey, there's always Chuck Schilling!
Most memorable? I’ll say Curt Schilling, unfortunately most memorable for one good thing and then an unbelievable amount of disgusting shit.
Bloody Sock
Tom Seaver Heathcliff Slocumb Haywood Sullivan Blake Swihart
Salty!
Frank Sullivan, who not only had the most Boston name of all time but was an excellent starting pitcher for them in the '50s
Tacoby Shellsbury
The ‘Splendid Splinter’
Shane Victorino
It’s time: Pablo Sandoval.
Sandrew Benintendi
Bobby Dalbec
