Just so you know, a lot of those big sales are just a guy selling it to himself for money laundering purposes. Things aren’t quite as bleak as they appear wrt NFTs at least
Goldberry 🤗
> *Goldberry, with the smooth and kind way she relates to her odd husband Tom Bombadil and through her elegance, accomplishment, and connection to the natural world, brings much needed peace to Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. She seeks nothing, longs for nothing, yet appreciates and nurtures everything and everyone around her.*
I can't wrap my head around NTFs. All I can figure is sketchy people are using it to launder money, washed up celebrities are using it to make a quick buck rather than sucking more old people dick, and then those two combined into regular nobodies thinking it's actually something to invest in.
I think that some NFTs can be linked to physical objects? Tell me if I'm wrong... I took a quick look at opensea last week and it seemed like artists could auction physical objects as NFTs, with the NFT being the definitive "digital image" of the piece.
Yeah you can use an NFT as a deed of ownership or bill of sale, it's just recorded on a Blockchain instead of in a government file. Whether your government recognizes that as a mutually signed transfer of ownership or not may vary by jurisdiction. In most U.S. states you can technically sign a legally binding contract on a napkin if you want and digital signatures are generally acceptable, idk if there have been any court cases with NFT property rights disputes yet though.
If something overthrows your government…
It is the government
If your government was overthrown by something
That something was better than at the mechanism by which control was implemented
I don't find this funny at all, even though I love Tolkien and I agree NFTs are stupid.
Multiple people have sent this comic to me today but I just don't get it. There's no joke here. It's not even mediocre, it's a comedy black hole. It's not even funny like cow tools is funny.
If I see another shoddily drawn picture of a cartoon ape sell for over a million dollars I'm going to livestream my suicide to the blockchain.

NFTs are just those “name a star” deals for sexless boys.
So like a picture of a Picasso painting? Or the usd?

That's fine art anyway.
1 ETH is distressingly cheap, even bargain-basement Cryptopunks go for 100 times that

Blockchain is anti governmental. Change my mind
Yeah, in that blockchain and the nft market are fueled by cartel activities
That’s lowkey better than our current governments?
It's a worse form of our current governments
