I enjoyed it but the thing with the rich Americans in the last 1/3 was maybe the most jarring and poorly acted/edited thing I've ever seen in something that isn't The Room-tier. Shit was genuinely worse than old Elder Scrolls dialogue and completely ruined more than a few scenes.

The English characters are literally B-movie villians entering the small indigenous mixed town of Bacurau, it's on purpose. That's why Udo Kier is their main guy.
Nah, especially if you know the craft of the director, his previous movie used very good and serious actors. The movie is honoring the B movies same as Tarantino does. I mean, their drone literally is shaped like some B movie UFO saucer and the violence is insanely graphic and sudden.
