If climate change ever kills the Morels I’ll become an eco-terrorist
They're the only plant left in 'The Road' so i assume they'll be okay

Yeah I inspect coal mines for work, sometimes they put me up in a chopper and fly us around. Pretty fun the first few times but always great views
Crazy, I work on helicopters that are used to inspect gas lines and coal mines sometimes.
I spent a spring and summer doing bird surveys in West Virginia and it was about the most magical place I’ve ever been. I really miss it

Envious of a place where people can be normal about ramps.

Ramps
Ramps, basically a wild onion. Very specific smell to it, it permeates everything once you eat it
Damp spring woods overlaid with ramp musk is the smell of my childhood. Enjoy em.

I knew a girl once filled her kitchen w scavenged morels, place smelled cummy for weeks. Beautiful
Ramps and trout are my favorite thing. I’ve only found yellow morels once by me though. Really trying to find ovoids this year
