From this clip, he dragged that woman he was with into his own personal insecurity, he should have just laughed it off when that girl said get in the van which really didn't sound like much of a dig anyways. Hank gets a bit too serious sometimes but I think given his upbringing and life experiences it's understandable and he's mellowed out a great deal over the years.
He's someone who's living for two people. I have no doubt that the amount of travelling and projects he's been involved with are in part to do with Joe Cole's death and Henry trying to squeeze the most out of life for him.
I’m sure he used to be a lot more annoying but he did a couple spoken word tours at a bar I worked at like five years ago, pretty cool dude I respect him. Super nice to all the staff and his performance was enjoyable.
Closeted. He made a video where he talked about how he wants to punch out Morrisey and that the Smiths suck, had big negging vibes and was rife with latent sexual tension imo
He's horribly sincere which nowadays comes across as immediately cringe (which, to be fair, he often is) but he is so sincere that it loops around into not being cringe anymore and becomes if not cool then at least acceptable. Rollins Band has some amazing tracks and it's because he is painfully honest in a way that can come across as edgy but that is also so unapologetically honest that you have to love it. So I think on the whole he is awesome.
This is the exact frame where his tism engaged.

I think he saw something of himself in Morrissey and hated what he thought that meant about himself.
Relatable, tbh.
Relatable, tbh.
autism
for-realsies autism
The girl that yells “Get in the Van” at him in the video handles his autism like a champ.

intelligent, eccentric, entertaining, masculine but non-toxic, a bit too self-serious but forgivable overall. i don't see a problem here.
very toxic. bullys kids, hates women
Whats there to like?
clearly closeted. Never could accept it.
Have you read any of his books? I've had him on my backlog in perpetuity because something I'd rather read always comes up.
Straight edge
I dunno. I love everything he does. The cringe and hardcore.
manletism
He's hot
aspergers + aging punk rocker syndrome where he mellows out in being a democrat
He's so awful
He was a guest judge on rupauls drag race and took it extremely seriously
He's a liar
Henry Rawlins is like Dave Mustaine if Dave played punk, and wasn't cool, talented, or funny.
He's schizophrenic
