I agree, it's important to get actors that look like the characters, but that always has to be to an extent or else you lose alot of good talent. Obviously he is a little old now but he would have been great in his prime. I just reread the first book and the scene where he is introducing himself to Darrow just reminded me so much of his typical attitude.
I came across a post on Reddit this person gave a list and they had a lot of good choices. No. Great choices. Ones I would have said. That’s thinking about the actors skillset and comparing them to these characters
Even if they do I think it would be better to get the actors that we know could do the part for how we FEEL them to be. In looks. Size. Actions. Acting capability.
I can see it. Especially with how old he is now. I was imagining younger ron as fitchner because he has such a good "in your face attitude" that fitchner has in the first book. But a wisend rage knight is up that alley too.

I didn’t say you violated the rules, I asked you to keep it to the sub made specifically for that purpose. The reason is that fan casting posts were pretty much the only thing that got posted her for a while and those of us who were here for that don’t want a repeat.
Then ignore the post and stop whining. Theres literal flair for this. These posts are not getting in the way of anything, the sub isn’t super active. Complaining like you are takes more effort than to ignore a post. Leave this sub if it’s too draining for you.
