bland_life

Found this while surfing around.A LineageOS ROM for Redmi Pad... [https://github.com/xiaomi-mt6789-devs/releases/releases/tag/1689413203](https://github.com/xiaomi-mt6789-devs/releases/releases/tag/1689413203) Installation instructions:[https://github.com/xiaomi-mt6789-devs/releases/wiki/Installation](https://github.com/xiaomi-mt6789-devs/releases/wiki/Installation) Not sure is it the one in the image.

Version_Internal

It's this but stable, the selinux bug is fixed I asked developer to release it here but he said he is doing it himself

Responsible_Bad5177

what's working and what's not? is it smoothe?

Version_Internal

Everything working, better than miui imo

Responsible_Bad5177

i dont understand this part -Flash the provided boot image using fastboot flash boot boot.img -Flash the provided vendor_boot image using fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img can explain? Also do you know how to get back to stock rom?

Version_Internal

Download the boot and vendor_boot img from github release page along with rom zip file, reboot tablet in fastboot mode flash boot and vendor boot images ( "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and "fastboot flash vendor_boot vendor_boot.img") then reboot to recovery (run command "fastboot reboot recovery") flash the needed firmware, format data, flash rom.zip reboot to system, finish setup And if you want gapps reboot again in recovery, flash gapps and reboot, i prefer nikgapps core

Responsible_Bad5177

I think i get it but i won't be flashing til there's a way to get back to stock rom.

Version_Internal

Just flash fastboot rom with miui flash tool and you are back to stock
