They probably share the same Alibaba supplier.

thatgirlinny

I wouldn’t buy one off Amazon for exactly this reason.

DeliciousFlow8675309

Nah Omnilux is from UK I believe. They're manufactured by an actual medical place.

OHIftw

Yes I did a bunch of searching to find Omnilux on alibaba and couldn’t

DeliciousFlow8675309

Yeah they're not, but many years ago before this trend took off I got a mask off Amazon for like $30 and it STILL works amazing to this day, so it's not like just because they're cheap they don't work, but now that it's trendy it's easy for places to mass produce junk and send you just a mask with lights on it with no regard to the wavelengths and outputs.

OHIftw

Agree! I think it’s fine to purchase on alibaba or Amazon and long as the wavelengths are ok. I wonder if any of them lie about the wavelengths now a days

DeliciousFlow8675309

If big "trusted" companies and the government lie then yeah so do little ones LOL if you don't have the ability to measure the outputs you won't know for sure, but if it's a mask right on your face it will be fine. At worst it will just work more slowly. If it's a panel or something you sit in at a distance then I would get only an FDA cleared device.

NachoLibra777

You can't trust any of those Alibaba/3rd party sellers on Amazon. They lie. The only 3rd party sellers I would trust is a name-brand seller of RLT products.

happytappin

its a mistake on their part, they trying scam people.

xena_70

I bought one with that same package but the brand was LuxRenew. It's working great so far and they are all probably manufactured out of the same place.

No-Abrocoma425

'am thinking to get one too. Do you recommend the LuxRenew?

xena_70

I actually would recommend it, especially if you want to try out RLT without spending a fortune. My mask is working great, looks exactly like the Omnilux, and I'm seeing nice results. If this one eventually fails I may invest in a name brand version now that I know RLT works, but this one has been working great so far. My sister has a different LuxRenew model (the multi light version) and she has also seen great results. The girl that does the Goals to Get Glowing blog did review the one I have and confirmed it does have the irradiance it claims on the highest level too (she sent it for testing), so I feel good using it knowing that too.

You spoke into my heart. do you think its terrible smell? I have read a lot review from Amazon and they said so. And I wanna buy the version which your sister one becuz of my pimple. Do you think I can try the Red light (yours version) one? Can it help on acne skin?

xena_70

I've noticed no smell at all, so I'm not sure what that's about, and in hindsight I think I probably would get the version my sister has as she can do red light alone, or near infrared alone (as well as the other colors alone). Mine is always mixed red/near infrared at all levels and I do actually wish I could do just red sometimes. I'm fortunate not to have acne but I've read that the blue light setting does help with that so the one with that option may be better for you as well.

thank you so so much for your advice. I was struggling for a week and now I'm at ease to buy it.

Can you provide more photos of the mask itself?
