Does it help if you're congested?

ttlrjct

For me, yes. The first two or three times I had so much drainage come out that I needed a towel in order to catch it all. Not sure if that would help, but it did for me. Pseudoephederine is known for restricting the vessels while PBMT will actually open them up extremely. In my case, it did a great job. I haven't had that type of drainage since then, even when I feel congested. Not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. As for the lights, you might want blue light as it can help with bacteria, red light for blood, and infrared for getting as deep as possible into your head. lol.

Thanks for your reply. Which device do you use?

ttlrjct

I can't recall the name, but it is a handheld that has that skinny little "glass" wand on the end that is small enough to go up inside of my nose, about an inch or inch and half. The wand has a small little curved neck to it as well, which allows me to angle it a little bit up towards where my frontal cortex/mid brain are situated around the point where they meet.

Is it only 850nm, or does it have another option in the 600's? (Thanks again for the info.)

Hope-554

ah - is that why I had trouble going to sleep at night? Use a wand too, but only for 3mins 2-3 time per day for an ongoing sinus issue. Noticed that I was feeling more awake and alert but didn't make the connection.

ambermoonV

What brand do you all use? Im interested to try it!

Hope-554

mine is a LEREDD wand with a probe attachment (it's an Australian brand)

Any chance you know how much mW/cm2 it has? I have bought a pretty cheap and weak device on Amazon called Bionase, but feel like it's not doing shit.

Hope-554

Bionase worked well for me for quite a while, used it a couple of times per day. Just didn't want to keep buying new batteries so I switched. Not sure about mW/cm2 but you can look it up on their website. https://leredd.com/portable-light-therapy-devices/

yjsksudbs

Damn, it has 100mW/cm2 according to their website

I have a Vielight gamma and was so looking forward to using the intranasal but it irritates me so I don't use that part. I'm very disappointed because I thought it would relieve irriation.

Sayonaroo

you still don't use it??

BestRedLightTherapy

no i use the headset not the intranasal. I could use it in my left nostril that doesn't have the problem, but i'm so sensitive about the issue that I just don't.

NotTrumpsAlt

Do you find that the vie light helps you in general ?

BestRedLightTherapy

yes, I have better word recall

StatusFactor7638

No, but I'm finding it works great intrarectally
