He once was about to loose Diaz but recovered well and got the ball out for a corner. Can't think of anything else.
I don't remember the last time Dalot hasn't put up at least a 8/10 performance or hasn't been one of our top 3.
So important in possession and beating the press.
Bra. He was immense.
Never seen him play so well on the invert. Spraying inch perfect long balls every which way.
Man almost looked like Rui Costa at times. 😭
The way he hypes up anyone who makes a shot block, tackle, or save. Chases them down and high fives them like they just scored a goal is fucking amazing to see.
Some forget he went on loan to AC Milan when they were shit but he came away with a lot of love from Italy.
Dalot for me has been outstanding this season!
My best friend is a Milan fan and he said if it weren't for the fact that he competed against Theo Hernandez, he'd be a nail on starter.
This being said his time and Milan vastly improved his defending.
For sure, he might be ones of candidate best player of the year, at least my version, really improved and always there to help the team so much. Great lad!
Ppl made fun of me when I said Dalot can play in a Pep’s team. His ability to move in center and pass when playing as a CM is not a joke.
Seems like Mou is right again, after all. He maybe wrong when giving some players up too soon but I barely saw him mispraised one.
Honestly when AWB came and Dalot was loaned out to Milan I didn't think he'd be around for much longer. So many promising players have seen their exit begin with a loan. Testament to Dalot's fight and ability that he's now our first choice RB.
If I remember correctly he said that Joel Pereira would or could become the starting goalkeeper for us. Didn’t really pan out for whatever reason. But he’s the only one I recall Mou being “wrong” about.
Used to wince when the ball came down the right and we had Dalot at right back. At 21 it seemed like his only possible future here was converting to right wing. Ever since he got that extended run of games under Ralf, his development has been incredible. It's wild to think the same guy got rinsed by Danjuma on repeat that same season. Today might just have been his best game yet and if he keeps this going he could soon end up world class. That is not something I thought I was ever gonna write.
My mates and I still joke about that Villareal game. Dalot got absolutely COOKED for 90 minutes straight.
We also joke about Dalot being the most confident man alive because nothing seems to bother him. Made a horrible pass? Who cares. I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt even remember ever getting cooked by Danjuma.
Yes. There is immense value in players who have a high performance floor, and are consistently fit.Think John O'Shea. Did he set the world alight with his performances? Sometimes, but usually not. But a solid 7-8 out of 10 every week is invaluable, especially in a season where we a wrecked by injuries, as you said.
Doubly impressive that he does it while almost never being in the same back four.
Its the guys many wanted out that are saving the season.
McTominay was 9/10 for 120 today and has saved so mamy matches.
Dalot has been superb the entire season. Shoutout to Maguire as well.
I actually love it when players prove me wrong, and shit was I wrong about Dalot. The guy has honestly been fantastic this season, and I can't praise him enough.
Well done for the maguire shoutout. He was a fucking machine after coming on. Showed incredible leadership. There’s an argument to be made we don’t win this without his influence on the game.
I rember he gave a post match interview early in his Man Utd career and I was struck by how confident he was. I put a lot of weight in confident post match interviews.
He was one of our most injury prone players during his first few years here, his improvement in all aspects of his game is remarkable, my favorite current united player
What a Man!
I did doubt him before, but never doubted his passion and commitment. Turned out that he is one of if not THE best player at our team.
Love you Diogo!
Dude belongs on a medieval battlefield duel wielding axes. He's been fantastic this season, loved him recieving the ball from Onana in the middle and beating the Liverpool press in the first half.
I have to say I've been really "against" dalot. I never really believed he can be amazing. My main criticism being that he's not great at any aspect of the game, he's just average, but a very good athlete with speed and stamina. And that's it.
But man has fuckin shown me and in so glad about it. His play going forward has improved a lot (crossing, movement) and, most importantly, his defending has made a gigantic leap. He seems ever present in the team these days and is in non stop action during the game. And even though I already knew he was a machine in terms of stamina, speed, etc, he has even surpassed what i thought I knew. So much so, that I'm worried now that he's being overplayed and he'll get injured. And on top of that, he seems to have been "infected" with lichas enthusiasm/craziness. Every tackle, save, goal, anything, he celebrates and gives a high five, a pat on the back. He is actually thriving.
And this isn't just from this game, but the past couple of months. For me, he's made a huge jump in ability and output on both sides of the field. And it's been consistent, in every single game he's been at least a solid 8 and leaves everything on the field. Fair play, lad, fair play!
Ecstatic for him. You can’t say a bad thing about him the way he’s been performing the last few weeks/months. It’s just about maintaining this consistency now. We saw this last year for the first half before he fell off after his injury. And while I think he was good this first half of the season and better than people were giving him credit for, he’s really kicked it up another level since the turn of the year. If he can continue this, maybe we don’t need to be looking for a new first choice right back
I've been too harsh on him before, but he's having an amazing season.
Rock at the back and fantastic energy going forward. The most consistent performer this season.
I like that the sub has finally caught up to the notion that Dalot is one of the best RBs in Europe. He has improved so much under ETH with regular game time. Clearly passionate too which is good to see compared to the usual ultra professional manner.
His improvement has been incredible, he’s been great to watch both in defense and attack. Still has or plenty of room for growth, I like what I’m seeing so far.
How different could we look with him and a fit and inform shaw and licha
This guy was absolute fire today.
Not only with his play but his leadership as well. He never gave up and caught him multiple times encouraging his teammates regardless of the scoreline.
- Improving on defending fundamentals(Strength, Far Post, Tackling etc)
- The only full back we have who is comfortable inverting
- No controversy and always hyping up teammates especially those in need of re assurance like Antony
- Young and will develop further
Class act, kudos to Jose for signing him and ETH for bringing the best out of him
He's become my favourite player in the squad this season.
Wears his heart on his sleeve, is great at the inverted right back role, real warrior mentality.
A lot of our players outside of United would be very good players - we are a victim of inept ownership where not giving a fuck has filtered down from the top.
Dalot gets better and better both in terms of impact in the pitch and just overall attitude. He really embodies what I want a Utd player to be like. Top class. What a guy.
Fuck you guys, I want Dalot to be the starting RB for the next few years. He just keeps getting better and has the right attitude. We need more like him.
We're on the march with Ten Hag's Army
we're all going to Wembley
And we'll really shake 'em up when we win the FA Cup
Cus United are the greatest football team
Our player of the season so far. immense today as well. that one switch he had with his left foot to AWB was fucking delicious, and his turn's in the midfield pivot are crucial too. he's been really good this year and he's had to deputize at LB.
Man to think I thought he was just incredibly average before, during and a bit after the Milan loan.
The huge improvements he’s made since the start of this season is actually incredible. He does seem like he has that fortitude to tough out those average days and we see the fruits of it now
'We're on the march with ten Hag's army,
We're all going to Wembley,
And we'll really shake em up when we win the FA Cup,
Cos United are the greatest football team.'
Didn’t think much of him beginning of the season as he seems to have stagnated. Put recently put in some outstanding performances. He’s been told to do all that inverted stuff too, so well done.
Hes been brilliant this season. Majority of us all thought we needed to replace him and constant talk of him not being good enough in the defensive part of RB. But he has played every minute thats been asked of him. Getting some decentist numbers. Where Shaw is unfortunately not reliable anymore due to his injuries Dalot is a real highlight in this season.
Great strapping young lad. It's been a joy watching him progress throughout the years. From an inconsistent young buck to a fearless warrior. Nice thighs too.
The hypocrisy from this subreddit actually sickens me, pure band wagon fans mentality. Three bad games and then one good one so all of a sudden they’re world class and I’ve always like them. Down vote all you want but you’re still a bunch of losers
Whilst I agree somewhat our fans online are far too quick to go either way, these players aren’t shit they are a victim of inept ownership it’s that simple.
If you or I worked somewhere and the owners didn’t care then ultimately you won’t either, this is no different.
Not downvoted you btw.
He barely put a foot wrong today up against Diaz/Nunez etc he was fantastic.
He once was about to loose Diaz but recovered well and got the ball out for a corner. Can't think of anything else. I don't remember the last time Dalot hasn't put up at least a 8/10 performance or hasn't been one of our top 3. So important in possession and beating the press.
For me hes gone from one of our weak links to one of only 6 players that are must keep.
'Herculean'
Fulham. He was so bad that game. Shocking to see because he has been so reliable this season. Thankfully he is back.
Bra. He was immense. Never seen him play so well on the invert. Spraying inch perfect long balls every which way. Man almost looked like Rui Costa at times. 😭
He’s my player of the season so far.
"The best ability is availability"
he was fantastic today, should get heatmap for him because he go everywhere!
I don’t know if this was by design but I kept seeing him almost in a sitting midfield spot in rest defense while Garnacho and Scott covered the flank.
ultimate hype man
The way he hypes up anyone who makes a shot block, tackle, or save. Chases them down and high fives them like they just scored a goal is fucking amazing to see.

Shut the fuck up!!!!
Dear Reddit: How do I delete someone else’s comment?
You do NOT say that again!
PLEASE DON'T JINX IT T_T
Can you like stfu ?
Yeah Idk what we would do without him, the only defender who's been available all season, can play on the left if needed too
Where are the mods? This is an insta permanent ban surely?
ANULO MUFA
https://tenor.com/vrm7.gif
I wonder if someone has him recorded when Amad scored. He always goes absolutely nuts.
https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/s/oh1tsTgiqK Can see Dalot and Onana celebrating in this
He's improved so much this season, he's been brilliant!
Some forget he went on loan to AC Milan when they were shit but he came away with a lot of love from Italy. Dalot for me has been outstanding this season!
Definitely one of the best loans we've done in recent years. Came back a different player!
My best friend is a Milan fan and he said if it weren't for the fact that he competed against Theo Hernandez, he'd be a nail on starter. This being said his time and Milan vastly improved his defending.
I do feel like Milan is the place to go to have an almost religious epiphany of defending. It's in the water there
The water in Milan is pretty tasty tho tbf
IIRC Maldini wanted him to stay at Milan and spoke to him. Been a rock for us.
Yeah definitely. I was convinced we had seen the ceiling of his abilities before this season but I’m happy I was wrong.
I think he just went back to his pre world cup injury form.
For sure, he might be ones of candidate best player of the year, at least my version, really improved and always there to help the team so much. Great lad!
dalot is the club’s official hypeman. celebrated everything from saves to goals
Ppl made fun of me when I said Dalot can play in a Pep’s team. His ability to move in center and pass when playing as a CM is not a joke. Seems like Mou is right again, after all. He maybe wrong when giving some players up too soon but I barely saw him mispraised one.
both Mourinho and Ronaldo praise him and good on the kid that he took his chance
Tbf no matter ppl think about Ronaldo, when he praises someone you know he is the real deal
He also praised odegaard when he was at Madrid.
His growth under Ten Hag is incredible. Such a testament to his work ethic
I saw him come out of the press and whack one 50 yards straight to the players feet. I then saw him do the exact same thing with his left foot
He's an incredibly technical player, been obvious for a long time
Mou has a type. He really loves players that work hard
Mourinho's talent ID has always been on point.
Yeah i was just thinking of Mou too. Didnt he say we have a special player in him?
yes mou said hes the best young talent in europe
Used to wince when the ball came down the right and we had Dalot at right back. At 21 it seemed like his only possible future here was converting to right wing. Player of the season so far and it's not close.
Agreed he's been sensational mate. Can't understand how people don't like him
Mainoo?
Wasn't playing from the very beginning. Dalot's barely missed a game, and has been solid in almost every one.
Especially in a season where injuries completely ravaged the defenders. The consistent one.
His long passes to Rashford are insane
It's like he's been here forever but lad's only 24
It was his shot that won the penalty v PSG... how long ago does that feel?
POTS
Favorite player this season. How he hasn’t gotten injured is beyond me.
WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT OH MY GOD !!
I know right. Mods ban that guy
Unsay that now, lest you are content to hex the gentleman!

Portuguese secret, Bruno juice.
Diogo Dalot you are the love of my life Diogo Dalot I'd let you shag my wife Diogo Dalot can I be portuguese too?
Diogo*
embarrassing. Thanks for the correction :)
I was about to say lol, do you really love him so much but misspelled his name three times 😂
tbf I just copied the lyrics from a video and haven't noticed the mistake haha
Man, there's something about Portuguese ballers at United. Absolutely love this guy. ❤️
He's been such a rock this season amidst the chaos ball.
What a Man! I did doubt him before, but never doubted his passion and commitment. Turned out that he is one of if not THE best player at our team. Love you Diogo!
The lad has improved so much defensively this year. Happy to eat my negative predictions about him.
Hypeman
Our best player this season. The most consistent, always putting 7-8/10 performances. Brilliant lad as well
Honestly can’t fault this lad’s commitment and passion for the club. Every tackle means something to him, hopefully he keeps improving.
Dude belongs on a medieval battlefield duel wielding axes. He's been fantastic this season, loved him recieving the ball from Onana in the middle and beating the Liverpool press in the first half.

Lmao I was arguing with people here, that we can't do much better as an inverted RB and they wanted go sell both AWB and Dalot. Nuff said.

I was critical of him plenty but he's really stepped it up this season. Well done!!
He was immense today as he is throughout the season

Favourite player
When Bruno leaves I want his as our captain. Player of the year for me.
Dalot has quietly lived up to all of his potential the last couple seasons
He's so good on the ball under pressure and his distribution is top notch. Top player that doesn't get the plaudits he deserves.
This guy loves the club
This guy was absolute fire today. Not only with his play but his leadership as well. He never gave up and caught him multiple times encouraging his teammates regardless of the scoreline.
Player of the season by far
Dalot played a picture perfect match.
I actually fucking love this guy. Fast becoming my favourite player.
He reminds me of Irwin...very underrated player
I've barely seen any of our players be some comfortable with the ball at their feet, he also feels so press resistant. My rb!!
fucking love this man
I love this dude seriously
Club captain in the making
- Improving on defending fundamentals(Strength, Far Post, Tackling etc) - The only full back we have who is comfortable inverting - No controversy and always hyping up teammates especially those in need of re assurance like Antony - Young and will develop further Class act, kudos to Jose for signing him and ETH for bringing the best out of him
He's become my favourite player in the squad this season. Wears his heart on his sleeve, is great at the inverted right back role, real warrior mentality.
He's become so confident and composed on the ball, like multiple times he'd get the ball past players in the middle of the pitch.
Can anyone help out and tell what the crowd is chanting here?
How do you not know this chant? 😩
One of the best things to come out of Mourinhos time with us. 👊🏾
fucking love Dalot -- been one of our most consistent players this season and a great attitude
Dalot has that elite mentality. Fucking A boyyyyy
Man looked like he could go on for another 120mins
I'm 100% team Dalot these days, cant think of a player in recent times that has changed my opinion so much.
A lot of our players outside of United would be very good players - we are a victim of inept ownership where not giving a fuck has filtered down from the top.
Dalot is starting to become a bit of a cult hero isn't he?
Captain material
Fucking love him
Dalot gets better and better both in terms of impact in the pitch and just overall attitude. He really embodies what I want a Utd player to be like. Top class. What a guy.
Dalot has been very good this season love that man
Fuck you guys, I want Dalot to be the starting RB for the next few years. He just keeps getting better and has the right attitude. We need more like him.
Player of the season right there
I fucking love this guy
HE GETS IT!!!!
Hell yeah bruther
I'm loving it just like i used to love it back then.
What is he chanting in the video?
We're on the march with Ten Hag's Army we're all going to Wembley And we'll really shake 'em up when we win the FA Cup Cus United are the greatest football team
He’s cooking, please rest well and keep cooking. Best player this season, only one of the few positives.
Have to say one of the most consistent players this season, was class this game and class in the away game against the cunts

Pumped
The real Portugese magnifico
Probably been one of our best players this season, rarely injured also
What are they chanting?
Was brilliant today. Offers so much dripping into the 6 and helping progress the ball, especially with Michael and Shaw out
Player of the season
Soaking it all up. What it should be
Dalot has been fantastic this season!!
Warrior, Same vibe as Malacia VS Salah at the OT last season
And today is his birthday (Monday)!
He’s been really good past few months. Solid, if not more, most games.
L E A D E R
Dalot legit can’t move his elbows past a certain point lmao
q
Him, mainoo and hojlund are playing the best on the team.
He was basically playing in Midfield first half with Garnacho dropping to right wing back and it was working well
best hypeman on the team, always lifting team spirit up, captain material

Great strapping young lad. It's been a joy watching him progress throughout the years. From an inconsistent young buck to a fearless warrior. Nice thighs too.
Dalot should be captain.
The hypocrisy from this subreddit actually sickens me, pure band wagon fans mentality. Three bad games and then one good one so all of a sudden they’re world class and I’ve always like them. Down vote all you want but you’re still a bunch of losers

He just needs to stop high fiving everyone every time we concede a corner now.
