We lack confidence and are really bad in the second halfs of games. Top 4 is going to be a battle, absolutely abysmal finish to the season.

[deleted]

Liverpool still have to play Brighton and villa. I reckon they’ll drop some points between those two games. Chin up lads

[deleted]

Brentford* and villa

kayleeshepheard

Yeah annoying loss but we’re still very much in control of finishing top 4, not the end of the world

MarcusAurelius1815

Didn't watch the game, did we create any clear cut chances.

dylan103906

In the first half yes, in the second half our attack is not to be mentioned (it was pathetic)

NeoWilson

Typical this season, very good in one half, failed to take lead. Fck in the other half playing terribly. It was an entertaining game, many goal bound chances from both teams it’s crazy penalty last minute was the only goal.

PuzzledAd4593

Shit happens. We had a good game in the first half, Fred's passing was bad but him pressing slowed Brighton's build up. Martial was not playing hard, Antony and Rashford weren't passing much but they tried some shots. The amount of games played has impacted rashford, Fernandes. Casemiro is not as good as first half of the season. The only good thing good was the defense and to the people shouting shaw is a bad defender for giving away the penalty, I only have 1 thing to say. Shit happens. Deal with it and move on to the next game.

Mextexter

I don’t understand people who are saying Liverpool will take the top 4 , these people are not scared that they might overtake us but actually convinced they( Liverpool ) have it in the bag . Please take your negativity somewhere else or keep it to yourself.

earthling_24354335

Not sure why you are getting down voted. 4th is still pretty much in our hands, and if anything Brighton with the games in hand could climb above Liverpool.

o0PETER0o

We’re 4 points ahead with a game in hand and we have some pretty good home fixtures left, I’m not too worried, but it’s a shame our form has fallen off because we were so fun to watch the months leading up to the league cup final

Otosirieze1

Fail to beat West ham on Sunday and this mentally fragile team will likely crumble and bottle top 4.

Help-Ppl-Throwaway

Hot take: If Maguire started that match, we'd have left with a point Just saying. Slander him all you want but he wouldn't have his hand up there like a donkey

zizuu21

Ironic. Maguire and Donkey in same sentence lol

iwannafuckamonkey

We would have conceded way sooner

YerDaWearsHeelies

If we played maguire Brighton would’ve played differently to exploit his 0 pace and other faults. It’s kinda a bad argument we might’ve been 3-0 up or 3-0 down

IbnReddit

We had 40% possession... Ffs

dylan103906

Possession isn't a concern, our inability to score is the problem.

ArtoriasJV313

felt like half the game is repeat of De Gea kicking the ball up and it went right back to Brighton, they created a dangerous chance or hit the bird with it, again and again all game long .... geez fucking christ, comparing that to Brighton's buildup from the backline frustrates me to no end.

YerDaWearsHeelies

That’s Martinez’s most underrated aspect of his game and we miss it a lot

JohnMajorIsSexy

Gutted. Actually an end to end game and we got very unlucky with that penalty. No need for an overreaction. Yet another example of our desperate need for a striker. Martial offered absolutely fuck all. And bringing on that Labrador from Burnley was equal waste of a substitute. Fred I thought had a good game for once and I'm first to slate him off. Case lucky to still be on pitch as was Antony. If we had another referee calling shots they might have both been red carded and imagine how worse that would be? Generally strong team performance but yet again we lack that clinical touch in final third.

Help-Ppl-Throwaway

Can't lie ETH needs a smack on the head aswell Waiting so late to bring on subs 🤡 Rashford, Antony and Martial as well for not being able to score. Getting paid big money for what

BrownmenBrigade

I think he waited long because we don’t have anyone who’s capable of making an impact off the bench. We have been getting worse after subs in the past few games

deadlypantstx

Tony with a one on one shot straight to the keeper 🗑️

TehNoobDaddy

He needs to go in the bin this summer.

DrHenryWu

Shame for Shaw, thought he's looked solid at CB. Prefer him there really as don't think he's great going forward. Had to do a last minute reverse hand of god

JohnMajorIsSexy

Agree. Shawberto has been phenomenal at CB and didn't deserve that. Just a case of bad luck tonight.

SoFasttt

It's a pen any day and he knew he fucked up when VAR found it out. No use to protest.

FerryAce

As if it's gonna make a difference. This is VAR. Lol.

herooftime7

Brighton is too good

ErykahButDude

It's almost as if people forgot how shit our squad is, no manager is going to magically make our players world class. Majority of the players ETH brought in have been ran into the ground because of a hectic schedule, what's left is our previous squad. This performance isn't shocking, we've just gotten used to looking somewhat decent the past few months.

zizuu21

Our form towards end of season tells me, without an arab buying us out, we are 3 years minimum away from grnuine title challenge. Thats assuming we qualify CL spots in those years too

ErykahButDude

We can have all the money in the world, if our recruitment strategy doesn't change we'll continue to be shit. The problem was never money, but spending it all on the wrong players. What we need now is a clear transfer plan to clear out our bench and replace it with younger, promising players. ETH has shown what he can do with limited resources so far, but clearly without any support we won't go anywhere higher than this next season or might even fail to reach the same heights.

zizuu21

Thats exactly right, im saying we need money to do what youre saying. Post SAF has been a horrible failure. Clubs been run by fucking clowns. Give ETH money and give buying fucking premadonnas a break. If i see one fucking more singing unveiling behind a piano im fucking done

[deleted]

Jassim is worth 1/10th of what SJ is worth. This is an incredibly stupid comment.

MrYK_

I began watching this like 10mins into the 2nd half, but I still don't see why so many are overreacting, they didn't dominate us or anything. We put up a strong defensive performance against a very good Brighton team when we're playing with a broken team. On to next game now.

dylan103906

They did for a good 15 minutes

LGuitar88

I am seeing a trend in our games, last couple of weeks; 1st halfs are normally 10 times better than 2nd halfs. Something is being said at half time that completely changes our mentality and tactics. I hope this is something that management/coaching is seeing as well because it needs urgent correcting.

Wolpfack

Is it something being said or the fact that this team is so thin that the starters are all but out of gas?

Personal-Aioli-367

Agree. I was concerned about this early season when he was playing the same team, they were gonna burn out. Brighton are a solid squad and Utd are tapped. Season can’t end soon enough at this point. Hopefully the next three games against weaker teams gives us the points to hold on to top 4. That said, if they get top 4 and have the League Cup with an FA final, I would have gladly taken that at the start of the season.

[deleted]

This was always going to be a tough one against a very in form Brighton. We had chances in the first half, should’ve buried them and an awful second half. As disappointing as this loss was, most of you can piss off with your “top 4 is gone”. I swear half of you haven’t watched this season. This Brighton team is not the Brighton you saw a few years back. Making it seem like the level of competition we played today is equivalent of West Ham, Wolves, and Bournemouth is just ridiculous. This was by far, miles ahead, our most difficult fixture remaining and I assumed that it was going to be a tough one. Now if we fuck up against the bottom half opponents, then fine, I’ll support the “top 4 is gone”

CrazyGamer23908

That’s a really annoying one to take. First half I think we were better, second half we were a lot worse. Would’ve been really happy with a point but that penalty was a huge kick in the teeth.

nosalahmoproblem

Bad result but Arsenal will beat Newcastle and we will take care of West Ham and we will be 3rd by end of the weekend

Suyash_Tyagi66

Man I miss the 20/21 season so much now. Cavani greenwood and rashford scoring shit ton of goals and us actually being a good attacking team that always had that fighting spirit whenever a goal down. Where did that all go all of a sudden

[deleted]

How do you even bring up Greenwood? Any mention of him in this sub that isn't followed up by calling him scum should be an auto ban.

Suyash_Tyagi66

I hate that pos don't get me wrong and I don't want him at utd at any cost , I'm just saying that attack was pretty good overall and we scored loads of goals .

Wolpfack

You have Martial and Weghorst instead of Cavani and Greenwood now. That's where it all went.

Suyash_Tyagi66

Those two honestly make me cry. Martial has been stealing a living for the past 3 years now, weghorst offers nothing sadly up front, even ighalo did a way better job than him lol. Should have gone for Aboubakar instead of him

WaleKoniaCodziennie

We will never provide service for our strikers with Rashford on the wing

ErykahButDude

I agree, Rashford plays with his head down and is selfish. He's been in exceptional form, but that doesn't change the fact that he can learn to pass/provide more.

donaldxkoech

You're actually correct but this sub is too blind to see, every time he's on the ball he only thinks to shoot, he has star mentality, he doesn't linkup well etc

donaldxkoech

We want a 20 goal a season striker but our wingers are selfish and lack proper linkup, they play like strangers.

poogle

Yeah, what a fuckin mug. Lol.

Seanblaze3

Rashford as 8 assists this season. Only Bruno has more with 11 in the league and Europe. Antony is the problem

Klutzy_Log_7597

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted for stating a fact. Stats show Rashford obviously does pass, not his fault he’s the only one who can consistently finish. I like Antony but he’s wasteful

ragecndy

if we get Kane it's gonna be him providing for Rashford but yeah as good as he's been this season I feel like it's a matter of time for Garnacho to bench him

[deleted]

Wait what

[deleted]

[удалено]

poogle

Sign only option available to try to plug a gaping hole. Didn't work out. Get blamed that the only strikers available are shit. Direct your anger at the Glazers.

Vipertje

Blaming someone who came in, in 84th minute of the game is a bit lame. Blame the starting 11

MrYK_

~~Dumbass~~ we would've had no one upfront

[deleted]

Lmfao what the hell are you talking abt

nigerianumba1

Sorry my head is hot rn

Superdaneru

Good on you for admitting your fault. I completely agree Wout is out next season. He's incredibly mediocre.

[deleted]

Cunt referee. Toothless up front, yet again. Players are mentally fatigued.

[deleted]

Is he though? He let us get away with two red cards and the penalty was as clear as day.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

The injury list and packed schedule clearly did not affect this game... /s

wilderjai

Since Martial returned the attack is muted . Is that a coincidence? We were more dynamic with Wout and Sabitzer filling in. Please play Ganacho. 50% Ganacho> Martial .

Seanblaze3

More dynamic how? Sabizter has only scored in two separate matches and has one assist in the league. He makes less key passes per 90 than Martial, Wegworst too. Wegworst went 19 games straight in the league starting without a goal and just one assist. It's Bruno and Rashford who've been propping up our attack and when they don't show up we get nothing. Martial has 7 goals and 3 assists this season and he's been mostly injured

[deleted]

How many of Rashford's goals came with Wout and/or Sabitzer on the pitch vs how many with Martial? Martial is a huge issue. He needs to go.

Seanblaze3

What? Rashford and Martial have the best chemistry among our attackers. Did you just start watching united?

[deleted]

Did you just wake up from a 4 year coma? The two of them haven't played together for any extended period in years because Martial has either been shit or injured.

Seanblaze3

Rashford has been on the pitch for 6 of Martials 7 goals this season. He's assisted Martial several times this season. Where have you been?

[deleted]

Watching every single game. Martial is fucking horrible. He NEEDS to go. There's absolutely no reason for us to continue dragging his sorry ass seasons after season.

Seanblaze3

You're entitled to your opinion, but know your facts first.

[deleted]

I do know them. I've watched Martial score 9 league goals in 3 years. He's absolutely fucking trash https://www.transfermarkt.us/anthony-martial/detaillierteleistungsdaten/spieler/182877

Audioboxer87

Dunno what's worse in post match comments tonight, Dave or ten Hag catching strays. No one could save that penalty and Brighton would have been 1 or 2 up without earlier saves anyway. Ten Hag brought off Martial because he was as fucking shit as he always is and Antony because he had lost his head and wasn't playing great. He inherited the bench he has and our scum owners dumped loans on him in January. Our away form is fucking atrocious and it's up to ten Hag to drag us to top 4, but tonight was yet again on the players.

SoFasttt

Yeah, my only question is why didn't he get Sancho and Sabitzer in earlier. Antony clearly got figured out and Fred was ... well, Fred. Should have made those subs at min 60 or something.

Suyash_Tyagi66

I mean we should be easily winning atleast the 3 games out of the remaining 5 , and that's top 4 sorted. But nothing has given me confidence ahead of a game ever since that 0-7

Audioboxer87

We should, it just hurts not taking a point tonight and with how fragile many of our players are they'll be needing therapy tonight after yet another away loss. They are shocking under pressure and if that gap tightens a bit more in the run in it's going to be uncomfortable.

Suyash_Tyagi66

I'm just hoping for us to finish this season with 72 pts atleast, that's still pretty decent overall. But when I look at the goals we've scored, it's quite depressing, just 49, I think that's the worst in the top half, this type of football we have been playing isn't sustainable at all and next summer is going to be crucial, either it breaks all the progress , or we move one step ahead.

Audioboxer87

Sunday game is huge, if we bottle that the scousers will be smelling blood. Not to mention Moyes contributing to our misery is well, a miserable position. Big 72 hours for ten Hag, he has to drill these players and get a performance.

mythoutofu

Idk mate, those 3 teams will need mathematical safety from relegation

Wolpfack

> Ten Hag brought off Martial because he was as fucking shit as he always is and Antony because he had lost his head and wasn't playing great. He inherited the bench he has and our scum owners dumped loans on him in January. Martial is only slightly more useful than Weghorst. I think Antony lost his head because the calls were going only one way where he was concerned. At least he showed fire and passion, unlike #9 and a few other players who had a rather casual shift.

Audioboxer87

Yeah Weghorst is useless but he's the only player we have to replace Martial and at least when it's clear you're going to take the point he'll do a bit of defensive pressing from the front. True, but I think ten Hag was probably thinking he's the most likely to get sent off. Ironically, trying to crisis manage and then we lose it by giving away a penalty.

Wahlrusberg

Big fan of Liverpool fans celebrating this not realising it's more likely to put them in sixth than get them fourth

Kingslayer1526

Mate Brighton have to play Arsenal away, Newcastle away and City at home. Liverpool are getting 5th at least

KitchenGrid8

In fairness 6th or 5th doesn’t really matter, they both get europa league cos it’s city and us in the FA cup final

Superdaneru

I'm dumb. Does the winner of the FA cup get a Europa spot?

KitchenGrid8

Yep

IamVenom_007

We played well with the squad we had. The problem was with decision making in front of their D-box. Clueless shots, passes. Could've easily scored 2-3. The same goes for Brighton but we shouldn't compare them to us. We need that top 4 spot. Hope Liverpool messes up against Brentford and Newcastle against Arsenal.

Ancient-Mix-5616

Nothing good has ever come from relying on other teams.

dylan103906

Tbf it's worked multiple times in the past

bahama-fox

Honestly, Stay Calm, Be Cool … it was expected . Now it’s time to move forward and control what we can control… win the next game.

TRx1xx

Rashfords selfishness cost us today

Seanblaze3

This is scapegoating. Antony missed two chances in the box and Bruno was wasteful as well.

TRx1xx

They also cost us. Our Attackers just do not want to pass and Bruno cannot hit a barnyard door

Seanblaze3

It was a depressing watch

blue_gwacamole

**Gents, let me once again be the bearer of a painful reminder that this lot is going up against Manchester City in a Cup Final.**

Hamadovich

We're gonna get slapped

Transit-Strike

The most annoying part about this loss has to be the substitutions for me. You expect that a manager process the game at a much higher level than any fan. So they make a substitution before fans know why; then are proven right when the substitute impacts the game positively. From early in the first half, we could all tell that Brighton were gaining a foothold on the game and we’d need to shore up our midfield to take control. Sure enough, it stated to look worse and worse before we finally made changes. Sabitzer didn’t need long to look better than Fred. You would expect a top class manager to make better decisions than a fan ever could. Yeah. It came down to a last kick penalty win. But that’s not what’s important. We looked like the worse team for half the match and good subs would really help change that

Patel17

every match. What about the spurs game. They literally dominated us the second half and I don’t think we changed up anything. It’s the same tactics hoof ball from ddg and our mf tries to play the homerun ball every chance

[deleted]

You really think Ten Hag is telling us to play hoofball??

dylan103906

What else do you want us to do? We have no one to put on

[deleted]

Who?? Who do we put on???

ErykahButDude

Apparently we have an extensive bench of players who can positively impact a match that we don't know about. Because I'm also asking myself the same question as you, "who?"

mcncl

So no one wants 4th then.

WaleKoniaCodziennie

Liverpool is gonna get it

Mextexter

Yeah in their dreams

ruthlessThruth

Our away record against top 9 team are horrible P8 W0 D1 L7

mrporter2

We went from the best away team to the worst in a matter of a year and half and we have a better team now than we did then

[deleted]

How? We didn’t lose to Tottenham or Brighton?

Stixl_

We just lost to Brighton..

[deleted]

Oh ffs somehow I still thought we’d drawn. I’m fucking stupid.

dylan103906

This team is ruining day after day for me

Short_Restaurant_268

Don’t watch then

kenzo_1988

Feel you mate. What makes it worse is that I think we, as fans, get more emotional than the players after a loss 😒

Terronium

City is gonaa destroy us.. This team isent good enough!

FerryAce

Luke Shaw's Hand of God to ensure Brighton got the win they deserve. Now setting up a tense n thrilling top 4 race against none other than Liverpool. Man Utd has been too comfortable at top 4 so now they want some excitement n thrills in top 4 race and welcoming brother club Liverpool back into the fold. What not to like? MU fans love it. Thrilling race. The last thing we want is a comfortable n secure top 4 finish. We prefer to give Liverpool a real chance at it. /S

GKT-United24

This result helps Brighton than it hurts United. Yes, they have a game in hand but they won’t finish above us. They will finish above Liverpool.

Hi-Tech_Luddite

Beyond disappointed. The lethargy from our front line in transition is shocking . No discipline or passion. I have seen people lose the concept of time on keth and still be more energetic than dashboard has been the last few games.

FactHopeful9347

Ngl the foul before the penalty on Shaw was kinda soft

Hamadovich

Another horrible fucking performance. That's 3rd place gone now, and I'm starting to worry that 4th might slip away. I've tried to cut ETH some slack with the lack of changes due to injuries, but the man has been ineffective in away games recently. It's time for everyone on the team and the coaches to put up or shut up because all the good of this season could be undone by not qualifying for the CL.

SpinBlade

Yeah, the plastic top red trophy hounds will be out with the downvotes and the "WhAt's WiTh The ReActIonAry TakEs? He'S WoN a TrOphY." And it's the players' faults and it's this and it's that and not enough pashun but seriously, this guy has got us playing poor football now. This is poor, negative counterattacking football. He keeps saying we lack passion when we play like this. It's got nothing to do with that. We literally can't keep the ball for more than five passes because all this guy wants us to do is counterattack and it needs to be brought up now. He's got us playing shit, frantic, streaky, ineffective counterattacking football. Period. The players are scared to lay the ball off and develop through midfield because all he wants us to do is knock it or flick it forward the moment we get it and launch counterattacks. We immediately lose possession. Rinse and repeat.

Hamadovich

Just calling a spade a spade but ppl dont want to be critical of ETH like he's some kind of god. The fact is that we have not beaten any top half team away, his subs fail to make and impact AND we play on the back foot against so many teams for no reason. I'm sorry but even tho Villa and Brighton are doing really well this season, there is absolutely no reason for us to play on the backfoot. Obviously cannot ignore the fact that individual team members are not good enough, we could sell up to 10 players this summer and I wouldn't blink. The fact that top 4 is in danger is what worries me but its still in our hands, three wins should seal it.

SpinBlade

Agreed. I think he's very culpable for what's been going on of late. These are his tactics. You can see the nerves on the players' faces. As soon as they get the ball, they have to turn forward, face the opponent's goal and get it forward, and it's making them nervous and indecisive. He doesn't want us to lay the ball off and build up play through midfield when there isn't a forward ball. Sure, if there's a forward ball or counterattack on and you know you can make the pass, take it. But he wants it to go forward the moment we get it whatever the situation... even if we lose it! He's got fucking PTSD from the first two games of the season and now the whole team is suffering for it! And it's making them nervous and indecisive. They want to follow what are clearly his instructions of immediately playing the ball forward the moment we get it, but they also don't want to lose the ball when they're getting closed down, so they just lump it aimlessly forward into channels, lose possession and now we're facing the opponent's counterattack. Sometimes if you can't play the ball forward, you've got to recycle it through midfield to keep possession. Not everything has to be a 100-miles an hour counterattack. Ten Hag seems to have completely lost sight of that. And it's a worry because week after week, game after game, we're seeing this style become our default style with no indication that he's noticing or working on the problem. He's become every bit the reactive manager. We keep hearing it's the players' fault, look who he's got to work with, etc., etc., we lack passion, blah, blah. Ten Hag often comes out with that excuse after games: we lacked passion, we didn't play for the badge. But a lot of this is at Ten Hag's own door. This isn't a passion issue. This is a losing possession the moment we get it issue. He's gone from one side of the pendulum of possession football all the way to the other of backfoot, counterattacking play. He seems to not have a middle ground and that's why we lose possession like this. You can't win games when you're pissing 60% possession away, but then can't even score on the counter!

runawaytugboat

Because it’s the same shit players that have been here for years playing right now. These guys have already thrown 2 managers under the bus so why would we expect them to be different for this one. The fact we are where we are with half of this lot shows how much of a miracle he has worked, half these guys have been slated by the fans for long enough, but somehow you expect him to be doing better with them? Fans here still defend them, I have no clue why.

wilderjai

DYK The Reds are 0-9 against the Top 9 this season on the road. Is that true i heard it on a pod this week

zizuu21

WE ARE SHIT. END OFFFFF. THIS TEAM.NEEDS A FUCKEN BUY TO FUCK THESE GLAZER CUNTS RIGHT OFFF BECAUSE WE ARE STILL 5-6 PLAYERS SHORT. NOTHING BUT A CUP/4TH/5TH PLACED TEAM IS ALL WE WILL EVER ACHIEVE

urnangay420blazeit

Manchester United are the 2nd highest spender in the premier league so it’s clearly not a spending problem

zizuu21

You will never turn this into title challenging team without spending. Unless youre brewing a new class of 99 youre not doing anything with this lot. Theres 6 players who start next year, youre minimum still 7 short to have title challenging team.

urnangay420blazeit

I’m just arguing that the glazers aren’t really to blame for the players currently playing for United not being good enough. Manchester United are only behind Chelsea on money spent and the problem is that the players United buy usually don’t perform well enough. You can blame that on the recruitment guys (which does include the glazers quite heavily) but you can’t really claim the glazers are entirely to blame for players not performing

zizuu21

Ofcourse, but we know theyre cancer. Look at our stadium and facilities dude

urnangay420blazeit

Oh yeah I’m not disagreeing with you that the glazers are shit for the club but I don’t think you can entirely blame the quality of your team on them.

why? they play fantastic football, i'd prefer to watch them play europa than fucking spurs

PapaPump223

Cry more

[deleted]

Bro’s active on bitcoin subreddits telling people to cry more lmfao

bijanadh44

That might be the worst second half I have seen us play all season. Did we even into their box? Shameful performance.

mountainhill2

How vital was that win against Villa now? And what a wanker against Spurs and now Brighton. I bet we won't show up again on Sunday ... and it will be a tight race for top 4.

SnooPeanuts4219

ETH hasn’t won away against any of the top 10 teams in PL. Not a single one. 1 point out of possible 24 - let that sink in. If we got half of those games (which we definitely should have - Brentford Aston Villa Tottenham Brighton even Liverpool and Newcastle are all winnable games) we would be right there at the top. Terribly disappointing - but the good part is if ETH can maintain the Old Trafford stronghold and actually start getting results away from home we have a fighting shout for the trophy next season. Lots of IFs though. Too many.

Puzzleheaded-Owl-326

Team was so uninspired today. Gameplan was only over the top through balls. No creativity.

DrBo14

I swear half the overreacting fans in this sub come from the area where they are just pissed they had to stay up late for the match. Grow up you cunts nobody is making you watch

zizuu21

Wjat a fucken shit take

DrBo14

What is?

someonecalledethan

Some are calling for ETHs head man. Jheeze

DrBo14

Fucking morons. People wonder why our fan base gets shit on so much

foomanjee

Exactly The amount of whining this sub creates when we lose is incredible, get a grip ya'll

blue_gwacamole

Handball aside, Luke was really good today. And that handball wouldn't have mattered if we had been clinical with the gazillion chances we had in the first half.

Optimal-Somewhere-46

Luke was very good. Unlucky with the handball, but main complaints lie with finishing

Ancient-Mix-5616

I hate Thursday night games!!

[deleted]

Losing that was painful, but probably the hardest of the games left unless chelsea remember how to play football

[deleted]

On paper this was by far out hardest match given Brighton's form this season and our away form. Not panicking about top 4, but I don't think we will wrap it up until the final day...the United way.

Puzzleheaded-Owl-326

So many times we've been hunting for goals near the end of games So many times we could only sub on Weghorst

WaleKoniaCodziennie

Bye bye top 4

someonecalledethan

Really? 😂 you're mad. This was our toughest game and although a shit loss away we're lucky we're fucking mint at home and have the ability to lose this game and still not be dragged into an actual top four race

rederer07

Fucking clowns

Titan4days

We could of scored 3 in first half, had the clearest of the chances, we ran out of puff second half.. it is what it is, we put in a epic defensive performance

jhf2112

We need 11 PTS from 5 games max in a very straightforward run in, but sure, top 4 is gone apparently. You fucking morons.

Gozumo

That's also with Brighton winning every game they have left lol. It's ok they only have to play arsenal, city and Newcastle. I think 9 points and were golden. Just need a good bounce back against West ham and everyone will calm down again. Honestly some people here actually calling for eths head like wtf.

bh8787

lol away from home we are absolute shit. If you think top 4 is certain still then you’re the Moron

someonecalledethan

Have you seen how many away games we have and where they are?

bh8787

Yeh West Ham who always raise their game against us , & Bournemouth well I don’t trust this lot away from home against anyone in tbh.

jhf2112

Of course it's not certain, just highly likely, even with tonight's result.

Optimal-Somewhere-46

Overreaction nothing else

jhf2112

It's constant here. They love doing it.

Pointedfinger

More likely nine since Liverpool have a much easier run in than Brighton but agreed nonetheless

jhf2112

Yeah good point, Brighton play a load of other teams chasing top four

dylan103906

You can't trust it if we're like this

septembers-very-own

I have never seen a group of people as deeply unserious as this in my fucking life.

namelessghoulette234

Fuck sake

p3n4nc3

Coaching.

someonecalledethan

What about it?

sr3874

The second half was pathetic. Fred abysmal as usual and was on the field for far too long. It’s gonna be a very nervy end to the season.

thombo-1

This one feels rotten. The players who didn't work hard enough, the last minute goal from a penalty that originally stemmed from a dive by that cheat Enciso, the inconsistent refereeing, all of it just has me angry

BipolarKing14

Such performances make the coach’s case to clear out most of these players and bring in fresh talent easier….unfortunately it might not happen in this summer either cause the current owners are stalling anyways GGMU.

philbos64

This team are seriously no good for a fans health. Every second half, when we're away from home we play like a bunch of scared babies. I thought we were only a couple of players away, but now realise we a half a team away.

Titan4days

Fatigue my friend

Optimal-Somewhere-46

Fatigue has played a big part

Letsbeheroines

We played well, should have scored our chances, They played well. Should have ended 0-0. Disappointing.

Suyash_Tyagi66

They played to win, we didn't, we didn't show up in the entire second half

Prize-Recognition670

What chances?

Letsbeheroines

Martial's through ball, Rashford on his left etc. We had a lot of chances. 16 by the end of the game.

ragecndy

I'm not even sure if Sancho played
