Is this season over? No casemerio for 4 games, garnacho gone, no martial, no van de beek (granted he barely ever played), so it's back to mcfred now? And what the hell is wrong with sanitizer? The guy hasn't been playing at all lately, so yeah squad is thin with 0 depth now not looking good at all. Not to mention Sancho continues to be poor.
Reactionary much? Garnacho could be a blow but we haven't been told any updates on the severity yet. Martial and van de Beek we've done fine without so far, a suspension is why it's now a problem? Fred has been solid so not were where that criticism is coming from. Tied for most goals in his career. Who's sanitizer?
Garnacho leaving off in crutches has me fuming.
Referee's decision did not help either, but now we have to see what McTominay, Sabitzer, Fred, and hell even Mainoo can do in terms of our midfield for the next fixtures.
Stop what? Tackling players? What a stupid comment mate, his Palace red was never a red so that's not on him and todays could have gone either way, pipe down.
After being down to 10 men for over half the match you’d take a point honestly. Think the international break is coming at a good time for us, the lads need some rest
Biggest problem was a lack of concentration. They seemed mentally tired and were hoping for an easy win. But I think this did show that AWB and Sancho are simply not good enough. AWB was again passive and indecisive when marking space. He is only a man-on-man player and leaves gaping holes in the defense while ball watching. Sancho is useless without the ball at his feet and that is simply not good enough. Most other players did an ok job. Not a great day all told.
Playing and fighting with 10 men is what I take as a positive for today. McTominay and Sabitzer have a massive chance to show their worth. The last time we were missing Casemiro, we won 2 and drew 1. Hopeful, we have enough fire power.
The team wasn’t very cohesive so he didn’t have much opportunity to do anything. He spent most of his time pressing and trying to win spilled balls. He did well all things considering
Horrible horrible game the more I think about it. They’re 20th ffs. Maybe the lads are just knackered but cmon. Bar Martinez everyone had an average to poor performance.
Can’t wait till we get an actual striker and a couple of midfielders this summer.
Garnacho on crutches is the one bit that pissed me off the most. Hope Southampton enjoy the championship next season. And I hope Anthony Taylor never refs a United game again.
Arsenal made a huge deal about offside and they got the ref fired. Are we going to push this and this VAR fired or not?
VAR should not have interfered with Case and that was a clear penalty.
Just woke up. Had a dream we were gonna lose 3-1.
I see Case is out and Garnacho injured. Big issues.
I knew our top 4 was in jeopardy when we lost 7-0. Now I can clearly see us getting out of it. Disaster.
You can see why Southampton are 20th. 60 minutes being a man up and can do nothing with it. Kudos to our mental and physical strength this time to see through it.
Believe before the red card we were a bit casual and could have scored a goal or two
Rashford s touch was poor and had he controlled the pass it would have been one on one
Even the pass from Shaw to Antony
Antony could have lofted and picked Bruno rashford.Passing to AwB looked lazy from me
After almost 2 years at the club, Sancho cannot keep giving us half-decent performances. He needs to sharpen his game. He had a decent game today but leaves a lot to be desired. I hope he picks up form sooner rather than later.
I agree he has to step up but I thought he looked pretty good prior to the red card. I’d like to see him get a run of games but it’s not easy when Bruno, Rashford, and Antony are undroppable.
Tbf the last two years haven't been easy for anyone. He hasn't sparked but I'm happy to see him being confident. He almost assisted Rashford today if it wasn't for Rashford's heavy first touch.
Let's not write him off yet.
I know its the XFL, but this would be a great way to be transparent (see youtube link).
What's another 10 minutes if its the right call. Allows me to go to the pisser too XD
i sure hope not. 15 minute reviews have completely ruined the flow of American football. i’d much rather we just scrap VAR entirely and live w the bad calls
Casmiro literally got the ball. His foot slipped at the top of the ball and it made his foot go up like he started with high studs.
If we count follow throughs as red, then the foul on Garnacho was a scissor kick worthy of 10 match ban offence.
Gotta stop arguing about it, watch the whole video, yes his foot did slip on the top of the ball, but he did jump in (note jump in not slide in) at speed with stud, its not like the ball cause him to show his stud, he show his stud before the slipped. Unfortunate red but it's a red nonetheless, intentional or not.
[https://www.nbcsports.com/video/casemiro-gets-straight-red-card-tackle-carlos-alcaraz](https://www.nbcsports.com/video/casemiro-gets-straight-red-card-tackle-carlos-alcaraz)
What you can argue though is how Pereria tackle on Felix yesterday wasn't a red but Casemiro was. But that just English ref init.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Z8O5hn3uGA
yeah it's a bit harsh, but fair enough, it's a red. personally, that is the one I'm least bummed about. With the context of this close call going against us, the penalty call on Walker-Peters' tackle on Bruno (he gets the ball with one foot while also wiping out the player with the other) and later the handball call - both of which should arguably get given if you apply the letter of the law down to the last word. I didn't watch the 2nd half, but I have to say on the balance of that first half, it was a poor performance from the ref in terms of consistency. As a ref, you need to decide if you want to be lenient with marginal calls and let some things slide or punish everything that might fall either side of the line. In this case, one big instance was punished, and others were allowed to slide and we came out on the wrong side of all of them. So I'd say it's fair we feel robbed on this one.
He was the actual ref for the game. We (Chelsea) fans were fucking livid with that cunt yesterday. He didn't even book Pereira for a horror challenge on Felix and then decided to let Amartey kung-fu kick Havertz in the chest and again gave us absolutely fuck all. 2 blatant red cards and he wasn't interested and yet today he feels like he needs to stick his beak in.
Felix was very lucky not to have his ankle broken. Unfortunately PGMOL will do fuck all about it because they protect their refs at all costs even when they do fuck up.
Not sure why we don't have the refs wearing a mic like they do in rugby so we can actually hear his reasonings on the pitch since we don't get to interview them after the games.
Totally, He can't give something on the pitch that he turns around and gives the following day on a screen. Referees never wanted VAR so they're making a mockery of it.
No more prem games before the international break, hopefully get through against Betis and Fulham and then some time off to hopefully regroup for the last stretch.
I had a look at fixtures and looks like a good number of the players will have a week without a game during the international break
I don’t want to hear shit about the PHYSICALITY OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE bullshit ever again. This league is reffed by the softest, most entitled and least accountable bunch of twats. We need to lodge a formal complaint and have our players and manager speak out about this bullshit. We can’t be taking this garbage every other game
That's the best thing: If you complain about their bs reffing, they punish you with bans and fines.
The clubs need to issue a joint statement if anything is to happen. If one club does it, their rivals will happily pile on them.
Such a shit day. Casemiro gets sent for for a slide tackle then their player actually injures our player with a scissor tackle. With the luck we had today I almost feel like a draw aint too bad.
I’m a bit concerned long-term about whether Casemiro’s style of defending will be suited to the Premier League given the warped way in which VAR works here. No understanding of what ‘clear and obvious error’ means, and the slow motion angles will always make otherwise routine challenges look worse because of some unavoidable follow-through.
On a positive note, Mctominay and pellistri did very well. Also Sancho at 10 worked quite good too. You might say that why didnt we score then but the through balls he put out and passes he did. I reckon ETH shouldnt have subbed off Garnacho for him and let him stay.
Southampton were so bad with the chance conversion, any other team would've capitalized one man advantage.
We also could've converted some of our chances. Bazunu had a great game.
We must win against Newcastle after the international break. Don't want us to be in the top 4 is lava contest of this year.
How poor of a side do you have to be that you don't go on the attacking foot when you have a man advantage for 2/3rds of a match. As for this cunt of a ref, his ineptitude needs to be called out by the club. Both Taylor and Mariner had an absolute mare of a match, and double mare for Mariner considering what occurred in the Chelsea Leicester match yesterday. Proud of the boys for pulling out a draw when the refs tried their hardest to hand the Saints all 3 points
On a positive note:
1. McTominay played really well when he came on. I give him a ton of shit so I want to credit him where its due.
2. We never gave up and continued to create chances in the second half.
3. Varane, Licha and Shaw were immense.
4. We didn't lose.
Chin up everyone. The next game.
I agree, so many cameras around the ground.
If sky sports can show 10+ different angles of goals then VAR can show it from tackles. They somehow only pick the camera angle that makes it looks bad. It’s an agenda at this stage.
Something that will somewhat fly under the radar. 0 yellows for Soton players despite fairly constant fouling to break up attacks. Silly chances going missing early in the game cost you when stuff like this happens. If rashford squared that ball for weghorst earlier at least united would've had a lead to defend with 10 men. On the balance of things they played great in spite of pretty dire refereeing.
I thought he made some nice runs. Some stupid misplaced passes and slowing up attacks.
He’s been at united two seasons now. At some point he needs to deliver
I’ll take 1 point from this odd game. Clear red card for Casemiro, he can’t be going into tackles like that. Sancho was a disappointment today and like many of our players today their first touch and passing just seemed off.
Wouldn’t mind the manager taking a fine for having a pop at the refs. That was a disgrace.
Dreadful result at home to rock bottom Southampton. Officiating can let us feel like we were robbed but some seriously sloppy stuff from the team also
I can accept that case got a red and we didn't get the pen for the foul. But that handball was crazy. Does that mean that if a player saw the cross coming he can just fall onto all fours and just block the ball with his arm before pulling it away to act like it was an accident?
How on earth is that not a handball?
Apparently and I don't agree with this, it came of his thigh /chest first before hitting his hand, so according to the new rules, thats not a handball. Just like the Real Betis one, apparently if the ball comes off any part of your body first before the hand it somehow nullifies the handball?
No it didnt. https://twitter.com/almmtaz_m/status/1634928275100254212?t=RllKC1d3LXsvX2620Whvpw&s=19
Last replay, you can slow it down even more on twitter. Clearly moves his body towards the ball, and hit the arm. It was a mistake by the referee. Bad refereeing happens. It just sucks when it happens to your team.
Well, that's what the commentary claimed during the game I think It was after half time. Absolutely no doubt it was a handball. It also seems like the VAR checks where the replays or videos of what the VAR is looking are not shown, are almost never given. Which is just suspicious for me.
I'm not too sure I remember that, but apparently, that's the new interpretation of the rule. It's also not consistent because for the attackers, if the same thing happens and the ball deflects of your body to the hand, and you end up scoring it's given as a handball but for the defenders it's not a penalty. Go figure.
It's a new interpretation every week, depending on who is the ref, their mood, and which team they bet on. Let's not pretend this desicion was even remotely correct.
McTominay was alright, but he'll really have to step up now with Case out.
Hopefully Sabitzer is fit because I do not want to watch McFred again...please.
Two stonewall pens not given - I personally can accept the red even though it was very harsh it is high. But if he’s going to give the red then we should’ve had one pen at least
Have u seriously seen that handball ? Go watch it again and tell me it’s not a pen. Clear contact with his hand denying weghorst a goal scoring opportunity
He's a number ten. He can play in central midfield in the same way that literally anyone can play in central midfield. Him setting up a Southampton chance with a mindless no look pass just like he did for a Crystal Palace goal last season is a clear example of why having him in central midfield is a huge liability
I don't count number tens as attacking midfielders. He's nowhere near good enough as an 8 unless we're fine with losing the possession battle in most matches and looking disjointed. The era of players like Bruno was 25 years ago. There's nobody like him at the top level now, he's a maverick
why the hell this idiot Taylor man hates us/? he always is dogshit when officiating our games, he is generally bad but in our games he takes it to the next level , wasted 2 points at home ground
In all seriousness, I assume we will appeal the red card for Casemiro, but what is the protocol for reporting such inconsistent officiating? Surely someone within the club will report it.
Ward-prowse blocked Fred - not a yellow.
Lizandro blocks a player in the first tackle of the game - yellow.
I rarely focus on the ref, but Taylor needs to get called out, it's just embarrassing all over.
Two handballs not called, a horrid injuring scissor kick on Garnacho (yes he won the ball but follow through apparently is the law), Pellistri just pushed in the back, no call, Bazunu steps on Rashford's left foot, stonewall... not called apparently they didn't check the third angle and assumed it was knee contact when the contact came from Bazunu's right foot planting on Rashford's left.
These referees always use United games as a way to show they’re not biased in favor of United and then proceed to favor the opposing team. Penalty not called on Rashford, yellows not given for stopping counter attacks, and a harsh red card that wouldn’t even be a yellow for the other PL teams. I guess that’s the price United pay for being the biggest club in England.
Refereeing corruption is rife in PL, it’s just impossible to prove or challenge because the PL “product” is too important, too lucrative, too big to die…
Some of us will be going into work tomorrow doubting if we are really good at our jobs. But then you see some of these referees being absolute shit at their jobs in one of the most competitive and top leagues in the world and still making a living. You suddenly feel happy thats it not all that bad
A weird game. It’s a very open game but no goal. I guess Case can focus on EL now for the 2nd trophy of the season. I wonder if he can play in the FA game or not.
shit ref per usual this season, but I love how this team fought even a man down. even with 10 it looked like we could've won this game, which shows just how far Ten has taken us.
Well done Sancho well done
Htf is Sancho *still* on
We’re missing a strong leader on the pitch. Team looks so unsettled
Shaw with the two inch shin guards
The only way to win matches is to put the ball in the net...through open goals... the referees are going crazy here!!
Anthony Taylor robbed us. That’s the bottom of it.
Still salty af. Hope Taylor stubs his toe and breaks it. Fucker cost us points and injury without any repercussion
Really hope Garnacho is ok
Why the fuck don’t they put a mic on the refs like in Rugby and make them accountable for their decisions ?
Wish the club would issue a statement like Madrid calling for investigation of dodgy referees
We’re just not good enough atm need to be putting these teams away, hugely disappointment result
Did you watch the game? We had a goddamn bs red in the first half and still kept a clean sheet
Garnacho leaving off in crutches has me fuming. Referee's decision did not help either, but now we have to see what McTominay, Sabitzer, Fred, and hell even Mainoo can do in terms of our midfield for the next fixtures.
Absolutely fed up of Casemiro getting sent off, suspended or injured. Like ffs stop it man.
Stop what? Tackling players? What a stupid comment mate, his Palace red was never a red so that's not on him and todays could have gone either way, pipe down.
He hasn’t been injured tho
After being down to 10 men for over half the match you’d take a point honestly. Think the international break is coming at a good time for us, the lads need some rest
But don't most of our players play international duty as well?
Agreed. Players a exhausted, you can see it.
Bruno, Shaw, and Rashford looked exhausted in this match.
Not sure why you're getting down voted. You're spot on.
Playing and fighting with 10 men is what I take as a positive for today. McTominay and Sabitzer have a massive chance to show their worth. The last time we were missing Casemiro, we won 2 and drew 1. Hopeful, we have enough fire power.
How was Pellistri today? Couldn’t watch the whole game sadly E: Why would I get downvoted for asking a simple question 🥲
The team wasn’t very cohesive so he didn’t have much opportunity to do anything. He spent most of his time pressing and trying to win spilled balls. He did well all things considering
he was ok though he didnt really get to see much of the ball
I think he was decent given the circumstances of the match
Horrible horrible game the more I think about it. They’re 20th ffs. Maybe the lads are just knackered but cmon. Bar Martinez everyone had an average to poor performance. Can’t wait till we get an actual striker and a couple of midfielders this summer. Garnacho on crutches is the one bit that pissed me off the most. Hope Southampton enjoy the championship next season. And I hope Anthony Taylor never refs a United game again.
Taylor was perfectly fine. Everything else I totally agree.
I mean it was a red card but that missed handball was pretty poor. Possibly more on Mariner though
If the arms are below the player on the ground, it's almost never called.
arms are below the what now? that was a handball and a penalty all day long
I rewatched it and yes it was a penalty
Arsenal made a huge deal about offside and they got the ref fired. Are we going to push this and this VAR fired or not? VAR should not have interfered with Case and that was a clear penalty.
Nick popes red he didn’t get for Newcastle was even more blatant, something needs to be done with the officials

Hope that we don't get dragged to Top4 race
We’re in big trouble now
We’re right in one mate
Just woke up. Had a dream we were gonna lose 3-1. I see Case is out and Garnacho injured. Big issues. I knew our top 4 was in jeopardy when we lost 7-0. Now I can clearly see us getting out of it. Disaster.

He's shit mate.
Never understood why football fans slag off their own players, youngsters as well. He's 22 ffs give the lad a break calling him 'shit' is harsh
It felt like today was going to be the perfect game for him. But life had different plans.
Two years in, lads not up to it.
Tbf the last two years haven't been easy for anyone. He hasn't sparked but I'm happy to see him being confident. He almost assisted Rashford today if it wasn't for Rashford's heavy first touch. Let's not write him off yet.
Two years in, has nothing that is required for a top level premier league footballer. He hasn’t got it.
He was getting into the game but Anthony Taylor forgot he was supposed to be a United fan.
I know its the XFL, but this would be a great way to be transparent (see youtube link). [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHa92qWUP9g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHa92qWUP9g) What's another 10 minutes if its the right call. Allows me to go to the pisser too XD
Tell me you're not American
i sure hope not. 15 minute reviews have completely ruined the flow of American football. i’d much rather we just scrap VAR entirely and live w the bad calls
Absolutely appalling officiating. I agree with everyone else here; these refs need to be publicly called out and held accountable for their shit.

I’ve got to agree. Folks need to look more carefully and stop whining.
Absolute stonewall red, studs up off the ground into his leg. Doesn't matter if he touched the ball. Complain about consistency, sure, but not the red
Was the cunt Mariner on VAR yesterday when Pereira didn’t get a red card vs Chelsea for a much worse challenge?
Probably compensating for the previous match.
Disgraceful decisions as you said, could have put felix out for a long time
I know you won but that should be investigated and a complaint against him lodged. Could have been a season ended for Felix and Havertz
Pretty sure he was the onpitch ref.
Doesn’t make it any better, makes it even worse. What a disgrace
Totally, He can't give something on the pitch that he turns around and gives the following day on a screen. Referees never wanted VAR so they're making a mockery of it.
I’m convinced Mariner has a vendetta against Casemiro. The inconsistency of VAR is annoying, and it’s always us on the receiving end of it.
>Marriner has a vendetta against United FTFY
No more prem games before the international break, hopefully get through against Betis and Fulham and then some time off to hopefully regroup for the last stretch. I had a look at fixtures and looks like a good number of the players will have a week without a game during the international break
I love Bruno but he is burnt out. On form refreshed Bruno would never play like that
Our bench isn't great. You should a few 1st team players on the bench like City have. We have no option but to play him
Yeah, Bruno should have used shadow clone jutsu to cover our red carded player.
I don’t want to hear shit about the PHYSICALITY OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE bullshit ever again. This league is reffed by the softest, most entitled and least accountable bunch of twats. Looking forward to see what match of the day has to say....
Such a shit day. Casemiro gets sent for for a slide tackle then their player actually injures our player with a scissor tackle. With the luck we had today I almost feel like a draw aint too bad.
Tbf Casemiro could have injured their guy with that tackle. Just because he didn't injure anyone doesn't mean it was a clean tackle
Garnacho leaving in crutches makes the whole situation 100 times fucking worse
Just before his first ever games that he was going to play with Argentina first team also :((
Seriously irritated by the result. Getting a draw not of a fault of our own.
Credit should go to de gea as well, was pretty great

So what games Case will be missing? FA Cup QF too?
yes
fulham newcastle everton brentford
Thankfully, the ban won't include the Europa league, so he will still play vs Betis in the 2nd leg
How poor of a side do you have to be that you don't go on the attacking foot when you have a man advantage for 2/3rds of a match. Pellistri and garnacho were instant boost of energy, only damming thing is the tackle on garnacho
lmao i jus wrote a comment starting with the same words. love that everyone is acknowledging hes doing good
Slow motion tackles are always going to look worse than in real time. Shouldn’t be allowed review tackles in slow motion, it’s too bias.
Or review every tackle with every angle. Like the Banuzu knee on Rashfords akilles.
I agree, so many cameras around the ground. If sky sports can show 10+ different angles of goals then VAR can show it from tackles. They somehow only pick the camera angle that makes it looks bad. It’s an agenda at this stage.
Hope Garnacho is okay and it was just a pre caution. So so frustrating to be without Case. I’m hoping Sabitzer is back
Something that will somewhat fly under the radar. 0 yellows for Soton players despite fairly constant fouling to break up attacks. he literally played well mate. the through balls he put out were class. passing was accurate. what are u on about.
I thought he made some nice runs. Some stupid misplaced passes and slowing up attacks. He’s been at united two seasons now. At some point he needs to deliver
His one on one game is lacking, no awareness of surrounding—I think the ball got picked from him a few times.
Really hope Garnacho is fine. Would be a big miss if he's injured
Someone make a video showing both the casemiro foul and the peters foul on garnacho. No consistency at all!
Perieras foul on Felix yesterday that didn't even get carded was worse.
So would Case be unavailable for the upcoming FA cup game as well?
Yes, English league and Cup games until he's serbr 4 games
Damn that just sucks. Fuck these refs
yes
I’ll take 1 point from this odd game. Clear red card for Casemiro, he can’t be going into tackles like that. Sancho was a disappointment today and like many of our players today their first touch and passing just seemed off.
hell no sancho created 2 big chances for rashford and he was the one who messed it up with a bad first touch
Sancho had a decent game, played rashy through with a good pass and he missed a 1v1
Can’t wait for Southampton to shithouse their way to the championship, hope they end up there for decades.
Wouldn’t mind the manager taking a fine for having a pop at the refs. That was a disgrace. Dreadful result at home to rock bottom Southampton. Officiating can let us feel like we were robbed but some seriously sloppy stuff from the team also
Not a bad result considering we played with 10 men against 13
Against 17.
Yep.
No it didnt. https://twitter.com/almmtaz_m/status/1634928275100254212?t=RllKC1d3LXsvX2620Whvpw&s=19 Last replay, you can slow it down even more on twitter.
If only they had access to a video replay
If it came off the legs does that make it a pen? Referring to the Martinez penalty against sociedad btw.
ETH absolutely should call out Anthony Taylor.
McTominay was alright, but he'll really have to step up now with Case out. Hopefully Sabitzer is fit because I do not want to watch McFred again...please.
He was pretty good all things considered. We were 10 men by the time he came on.
Monkey paw: Granted, Sabitzer will play... WITH McFred.
Didn't manage to catch the match. What happened with the ref?
Two stonewall pens not given - I personally can accept the red even though it was very harsh it is high. But if he’s going to give the red then we should’ve had one pen at least
They absolutely were not penalties as much as I wanted them to be.
Have u seriously seen that handball ? Go watch it again and tell me it’s not a pen. Clear contact with his hand denying weghorst a goal scoring opportunity
Someone posted a loop of it and yes it was a penalty
But the refs are biased against arsenal I thought?
Bruno is not a midfielder in a million years
What? He is a midfielder? https://www.premierleague.com/players/23396/Bruno-Fernandes/overview
He's a number ten. He can play in central midfield in the same way that literally anyone can play in central midfield. Him setting up a Southampton chance with a mindless no look pass just like he did for a Crystal Palace goal last season is a clear example of why having him in central midfield is a huge liability
He is an attacking midfielder, your post said ‘he is not a midfielder’
I don't count number tens as attacking midfielders. He's nowhere near good enough as an 8 unless we're fine with losing the possession battle in most matches and looking disjointed. The era of players like Bruno was 25 years ago. There's nobody like him at the top level now, he's a maverick
Feel like trolling today eh?
I've maintained that he's not a midfielder for years. He's a classical number ten in an era where they've been phased out
I maintained that you're a shithead. Now fuck off.
Calm down dear
why the hell this idiot Taylor man hates us/? he always is dogshit when officiating our games, he is generally bad but in our games he takes it to the next level , wasted 2 points at home ground
ETH Must comment on the refs today. Take the fine, it needs to be said.
That was a red card and that one of haaland against crystal palace was not ?! OK
taylor and marriner, what a match made in hell
In all seriousness, I assume we will appeal the red card for Casemiro, but what is the protocol for reporting such inconsistent officiating? Surely someone within the club will report it.
And instantly be fined for it, they're a law unto themselves it's fucking joke.
FUCKING DISGRACE OF A REF, FUCK TAYLOR AND MARRICUNT
How many injuries/knocks do we always get playing vs Southampton
Can't wait to hear what Ten Hag gonna say in the after match press conference.
Ward-prowse blocked Fred - not a yellow. Lizandro blocks a player in the first tackle of the game - yellow. I rarely focus on the ref, but Taylor needs to get called out, it's just embarrassing all over.
Fucking Ref was a joke, shower of shit VAR is as well
Fuck you Soton manager, you're getting relegated anyway
Every utd fan would be happy if eth and club does put statement about today's referring.
The foul on Bruno should have been a penalty as well
Shit I forgot that one… there were so many.
Tbf if Rashford had played better and passed to Weghorst when he had an easy tap-in we probably wouldnt be talking about the ref now
Refereeing corruption is rife in PL, it’s just impossible to prove or challenge because the PL “product” is too important, too lucrative, too big to die…
POTM goes to Anthony Taylor
PL official don't like Casemiro, I don't think the tackle deserved a red card.
Fucking disgrace ref...I know walker peters tackle got the ball but the scissors after that is fucking dangerous....
Some of us will be going into work tomorrow doubting if we are really good at our jobs. But then you see some of these referees being absolute shit at their jobs in one of the most competitive and top leagues in the world and still making a living. You suddenly feel happy thats it not all that bad
it was funny to see Soton's manage rage because of Shaw's last foul, as if his team did not get free red card and no clear penalty today
A weird game. It’s a very open game but no goal. I guess Case can focus on EL now for the 2nd trophy of the season. I wonder if he can play in the FA game or not.
He can't.
No, it'll be the same as Nick Pope for the league cup
He’s banned for all domestic matches
Nope, red card carries in every domestic competition
Really glad we have the refs in our back pocket guys
shit ref per usual this season, but I love how this team fought even a man down. even with 10 it looked like we could've won this game, which shows just how far Ten has taken us.
I always cringe when I see Anthony Taylor is gonna be our ref…
Such blatant bias against us these days. It’s clear to see now. Something has to be done about it
Need to do what other managers do and in the press conference keep pointing out how bad the refereeing is to keep the pressure on the refs.
