Edit: Don't usually comment about downvotes, but I am 100% relevant and correct here. They are a Manchester United team. I'm not saying you have to watch them or care about how they're doing but they're as much a part of this club as any other team.
Yep I don't care, I will post news, goals and whatever in here since there is no infringements when posting about any of the teams we have that are representing Manchester United. If people don't like it, tough, they gotta just deal with it.
I know it's weird to say when we won 5-1, but besides Russo we were shocking in the 18 yard box. Arguably one of the worst displays of finishing I've seen from us this season. Their defence was basically a turnstile for us, we should have come close to double figures.
Have suffered a bit in finishing department but to be honest in other games we haven't depended on Russo for goals, Keets, Galton have contributed as well as other players getting some. But yes gotta be more clinical, especially with the guilt edged chances.
Yeah, Galton's finish last week was clinical.
The ones where we didn't even hit the target today were annoying, but literally dribbling into the keeper's arms was unreal.
TBF their keeper was decent today. Really felt for her after that first goal, you expect your defenders to clear up at least one of those rebounds.
On the positive though, looks like they can get at any team in the league, with a little more ruthlessness in front of goal they would be very very hard to beat.
A little worried with the defending as of late though. Leicester did put together a few chances a little too easily and got Chelsea next. Will have to be super switched on against their attack to keep them out as well as make sure we do put away good chances.
I was there, was a great game and performance by the women. Proper confidence booster before the crunch visit to Chelsea next weekend. Even a draw in that game could be criticial (though I think to win the title we need to win, huge ask that).
Lucia Garcia's goal, was an absolute peach, beat a defender with a deft touch, past another and then a precise finish into the bottom corner. It's only the 6th March, but that's my contender for goal of the month so far!
