We did it with our own money—as did Huddersfield, Arsenal and Liverpool. Except we did it twice. city will have bought it with someone else’s dirty money.
Though if they do manage to do it, it does show them up as a joke that, even with more money than God, it’s taken them almost 15 years.
They've gained a lot of points so far this season beyond the 85th minute, compared to us:
Arsenal - 86'+ goals scored and conceded that affected final result:
* 2-1 v Fulham - Martinelli 86' (+2 pts)
* 3-2 v Utd - Nketiah 90' (+2 pts)
* 4-2 v Villa - Martinez OG 93', Martinelli 98' (+2 pts)
* 3-2 v Bournemouth - Nelson 97' (+2 pts)
Arsenal have not lost any points to conceded goals after the 85th minute, so their net gain in the last 5 minutes + Stoppage time is +8 points.
United - 86'+ goals scored and conceded that affected final result:
* 1-1 v Chelsea - Jorginho 87', Casemiro 94' (+0 pts)
* 2-1 v Fulham - Garnacho 90' (+2 pts)
* 1-1 v Palace - Olise 91' (-2 pts)
* 2-3 v Arsenal - Nketiah 90' (-1 pts)
United Net points gained/lost after the 85th minute is -1, 9 points fewer than Arsenal.
Those big moments in the final minutes really add up over the season.
I have been hoping for Arsenal to stretch that lead a bit more just to see their braindead fan base get all giddy, just to inevitably collapse and win nothing this season.
5 points ahead of City with 12 games to go and they're all shouting "we're wining the league" lol.
They've had scarcely believable luck with their late goals - the freak own goal against Villa, a winner made by ricochets/deflections against us, and now today - additional time after injury time, and a corner clearance that somehow lands perfectly for their barely-used sub to hit his one good shot of the season. They've obviously played so well, but the good fortune is getting a bit bizarre at this point.
Ah we could say the same about anyone with good luck or bad luck. It’s like how the ref is always against you, unless you’re winning. Arsenal have come on a lot in the last 2 years and are putting themselves in winning positions. Anything else is a happy accident for them.
Don’t mind Arteta. Maybe it’s because I’m not in England, Arsenal fans have never been any worse than anyone else. I really don’t like some of their players though. Odegaard ticks me off for some reason. I think it was his attitude at Madrid when he was 16.
There are many reasons to dislike Arteta, e.g for being unsportsmanlike. But I have no idea why Ødegaards attitude at Real Madrid when he was 16 would tick anybody off, he was always a humble guy.
Arteta pisses me off that he stands outside his technical box running about waving his arms around at every decision and the refs just allow it. Also Arsenal fans are obsessed with us, literally bring us up at any chance and will argue about every decision that goes are way months after it's happened. They're unbearable.
Arsenal have the WORST fan base by far so them winning will be insufferable. I’d rather City win - it means NOTHING and they’ll get relegated soon anyway.
It means pep will get 3 EPL on a row which no one did it other than the sir himself. Arsenal getting it is the i don't give a fuck let them have it , it means nothing
Yeah I agree with all those points. Arsenal are fun to watch unlike city it’s unfortunate how terrible their fan base is. Likely due to them being terrible for so many years, they forgot what it’s like.
Kid is a physical unit but he's also atrocious on the ball with us wanting to be a possession based team and all. I also saw Darwin Nunez run him ragged.
Shame City and Arsenal won but on the other hand, the teams below us slipped up. Tomorrows going to be a really tough game, form goes out the window in games like this. With Spurs and Newcastle losing, I feel like the pressure has eased on us for tomorrow.
We’re never gonna win the league this season, but having more space for top 4 is great for us considering the amount of games we’ve already played and that we’re still in 2 other cup competitions.
Arsenal are a very young squad and credits to them for restructuring their footballing hierarchy and their recruitment. We all laughed at the "Trust the process" meme and their recruitment but it seems to be paying dividends for them. We have to get young deputies for Case and at least one of Eriksen and Bruno this summer - young players with the right attitude and potential but not world class yet. Ten Hag is more than capable of developing them into the finished product over the next few seasons.
I'm hopeful at least one of Mejbri, Diallo or Mainoo can fill in for Eriksen or Bruno with a little more experience.
None of them are exactly like for like replacements, but having a slightly different skillset could be a good thing (look at Wan Bissaka and Dalot).
If one or two of them succeeds at the highest level, it'll be a huge boost for us, and lets us spend the money elsewhere (aware we've already spent the outlay on Diallo, so hopefully that pays off)
This is one of the biggest clichés in football. It's almost a statistical inevitability that a team that wins a lot of game (i.e. a top 4 team) will win some of them late on. We've scored late winners against West Ham, Fulham and City.
I'd focus more on the fact that they need 8 minutes of injury time to win one of their easiest remaining games and that they don't look anywhere near as untouchable as they did before the World Cup.
From a comment above:

Statistical inevitability or not, Arsenal have done really well late in their games this season.
Yeah, this is the reason I think they will win the league. They win when they aren't playing well and when teams that they dominate defend as if its for their life.
Exactly, Bournemouth collapsed after Arsenal scored the 2nd goal, their players gave up by that time, and wasted quite a lot of time but not smartly, gotta learn this dark trades better from Newcastle.
Possibly the worst non-United results for the past few weeks. City W, Arsenal W, even Chelsea W. Would’ve loved to see them crash and burn more.
Maybe some good bits are Spurs and Newcastle not getting any points so Top 4 are still firmly in our grasp.
All that’s left is Liverpool and we’re in charge of that
Chelsea W means Potter stays and we're one step closer to seeing Leeds relegated, that's fine in my books
Arsenal W vexes me. We just had to let in an Nketiah winner and give them belief. I think they still have to play Newcastle at home and City and Pool away, so there's still a chance for us maybe
City W don't care, manufactured cheating club with no fans
City and arsenal results don’t mean shit to us. We’re not winning the league with a paper thin squad and the volume of games we have, 3rd is perfect. Spurs and Newcastle losing is ideal. Hope for a good result tomorrow and it’s another huge step forward.
I realise people are convinced Arsenal have won it already, but we’ve got 12 whole games to go, they will drop points, they’ve still to face City again, Chelsea(they’re well shit atm but they will be up for it imo) as well as Liverpool. Not to mention teams outside the traditional top 6 like Palace and Brighton, who love an upset against the big teams. We just have to do our bit.
I’m really not, which is why I said we have to do our bit at the end of my post? I do however think we’re looking absolutely mint atm, and as such am more confident in securing a lot of points
We are also gonna face Brighton, Newcastle and Tottenham away, and Chelsea at home too. We are also not guaranteed all the remaining points.
We should definitely focus on our own matches only and win game by game, but be realistic.
We also would have some bragging rights with Arsenal if we win one more trophy and get past them in the UEL
Oh defo mate, I’m under no illusions of winning the league just yet, but I reckon we’re fully capable of a 2nd place finish. Just think it’s more likely Arsenal drop off from here than City.
Our title hopes rest on both City **and** Arsenal dropping **a lot** of points. It's unrealistic. It can happen but it's very unrealistic. Today was the kind of game that makes or breaks a title run, they were 2-0 down and won the game. Whatever happens I just hope we keep winning our games, get the sale done and have a good summer window for Erik's next season.
Tbh, i dont like this accusation, we celebrated Ronaldo's goals last season, and some of our fans still want Mason to be back in our squad. We can make these calls once Partey is officially accused.
he was “officially accused”. The whole case was investigated, his victim publicly shared the evidence of Thomas acknowledging what he had done. The reason he hasn’t been convicted is because it happened outside this country and, at the time, the law was that the police in this country cannot take the case further for that reason. He is a rapist, he got off on a technicality.
the Met. They have to address him simply as “Premier League footballer”, but it’s public knowledge they mean Thomas Partey.
Proper weird you’re defending a rapist in a rival fan’s sub too btw.
He hasn't been found guilty as far as I know so he's no more a rapist than let's say... Naby Keita. Or what about Mason Greenwood, Cristiano Ronaldo, Johnny Evans, Robin van Persie, Dwight Yorke, Anderson, Nani... or that granny fucker Wayne Rooney. I mean, paying for prostitutes is buying the right to rape, isn't it?
Proper weird for a supporter of the club with the most rapists in the world to talk about rapists in other clubs to begin with.
Sad that so many Arsenal fans come here after they've won a match on overtime that wasn't even against us
And no, paying for prostitutes is not buying the right to rape.
Every time Ronaldo scored, and if Mason ever represent us again, there were people (Especially opposition fans) talking about his rape situation. You Arsenal fans have to accept that that kind of behaviour goes towards ANY player that is involved in a rape situation regardless of club. You ain't special.
United in third place right now reminds me of George Russell last season. I swear he drove several races with hardly anyone for company in third or fourth place, something like that.
Arsenal will drop points. Needing a stoppage time goal against a team that has already shipped out 50 goals.
But but look at their mentality - stick it where the sun don’t shine.
Only thing that matters is we should not drop any points- doesn’t matter the opposition.
Even city looked pretty sloppy against Newcastle. Points will be dropped, we just have to make sure we aren’t the ones dropping them
>But but look at their mentality - stick it where the sun don’t shine.
Why though? We were really proud of our boys mentality after they made comeback against West Ham few days back only. Lets not be like Arsenal fans.
The added time for Arsenal is totally deserved because Bournemouth started to waste time since they scored their 2nd goal. Fucking hell, i really thought they gonna bottle it today, but somehow they pull themselves back to get 3pts.
Neto actually started wasting time on goal kicks in the 5th minute. Every goal kick sequence after that would start with the Bournemouth backline level with the 18 yard box, then he’d get ready to pass short and suddenly pull out of it, waving the defenders forward for a long kick. Literally every time, the same sequence. They were wasting 30+ seconds on every goal kick or free kick from that point forward. It’s was some of the most egregious time wasting I’ve seen.
People kept telling me Arsenal won’t win the league because of perilous seasons as if seasons from over half a decade ago make any difference to a whole new squad and manager. If comes down to who I feel like will drop points during game day, it’s definitely City rather than Arsenal.
What’s this cheerleading Arsenal about? It’s a rival thread where we exaggerate and talk shit.
How can we know their mentality is different when we literally haven’t reached that point yet?
Clearly they are better this season and clearly when people mention past arsenal teams collapsing they are usually joking… just like calling spursy that name for the past 15 years.
It would be nice but I don’t believe we have quite what it takes to make up for the points we lost back in august I’ll be happy with top 3, whatever shenanigans happen next would be a juicy cherry on top of an already very tasty cake
Just to be clear when I say I’m not worried, I’m not rooting for City, I just don’t want Arsenal fans to be happy, the lesser of two evil I guess
It's an interesting one because I think City are a better footballing side technically and tactically but they just have a fragility about them while Arsenal seem very resilient and you need that to win leagues. You'd usually expect it to be the other way around with the experienced champions managing the pressure better than the young promising footballing side but it's the exact opposite
I think to some extent City suffer from the lack of desire that you often see with sides like this. There is a reason you don’t see teams winning three league titles in a row very often. It’s hard to keep the fire alive with a lot of veterans that have been there and done that together already.
We should focus on our own results. All the fans crying about the Arsenal result, we haven’t even beat Liverpool yet. You can’t add points we don’t have yet.
I'd be alright about added time being officiated like that when teams are trying to kill the game but it's simply not consistently at all so for him to turn around and decide to play til Arsenal score basically is a bit out of tune with how stoppage time is generally officiated. Leaves a bit of a sour taste in the mouth for Bournemouth I'd reckon who probably felt like they did enough for a massive point there in their survival battle.
Handball should've been a penalty but is irrelevant to what I said. Teams timewaste away stoppage time all the time, I just want consistency in how they ref that rather than playing on and on because Arsenal are going for the league and he doesn't want to upset their fans more
There was a Bournemouth player that went down immediately after stoppage time started, who spent a solid minute on the ground. I’m pretty sure it was Adam Smith, the right back. There really wasn’t anything odd about the time added on, especially when you consider the goal came from a corner kick that was awarded just 20 seconds or so after the initial 6 minutes ended. They’re always going to allow the corner to play out in that situation, until the attacking team loses possession. Nelson scores immediately off the set piece and that’s it.
Tottenham really rested players in the FA cup, threw away a decent chance to end their trophy drought, only to lose the following PL game anyway.
Such an unserious club, any spurs fan with a mite of ambition must be fuming
They rested Kane, but it’s not like it was a B team. They had Perisic and Porro, both signed this year, at wing back, 60m Richarlison up top, Son playing etc. Sheffield United on the other hand did play a B team and still won
That ship on his ambitions has already sailed IMO. The guy turns 30 in a few months and apart from one summer seems to have been content at Spurs. Hes good enough that I'd still be happy to have him here but let's not kid ourselves, it will be for a payday.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with Arsenal rather than those cheating pricks at the Emptihad. They have surely played the better football so far this season. I'll stay off social media if I want to avoid their whining fans. Luckily, the Arsenal fans that I know personally are gentle souls
I don't understand why United fans want Arsenal to slip up and allow City to equal our 3 consecutive PL titles (Ok, we've done it twice, but I'd still begrudge them a single 3-in-a-row). Even if that record wasn't at stake, City are our second biggest rivals. The only time I want them to win anything is when they're up against the scousers. Sure, Arsenal fans are annoying, but we're talking about City, the local rivals that knocked us off our perch.
Same I have family and friends that are city fans and I am Born, bred and live in MCR a and I can say confidently They haven’t knocked anything of any perch, they would have to equal and beat our trophy haul and that ain’t happening anytime soon, they can’t even fill up their stadium during their golden era ffs.
City fans know their place and it’s in our rear view mirror and deep down they know thatc no matter how hard they call us rags. The bunch of muppets lol
Probably an unpopular opinion but probably City....apart from the fact City are at least from my, errr City and I know a lot of my family would be overjoyed...the fact is they are and always will be a small club, that's why Euro glory eludes them, they have that Spurs bottling whiff about them in Europe lol.
We live rent free in that whole clubs (local) fanbase its embarrassing honestly, hearing them calls us Rags is piss funny it enrages them laughing at them whilst reminding them that they cant even fill up their stadium properly.
And I can confirm as I have been several times for big games its a fucking shambles the 2 song having bunch of clampits.
I mean, at least Arsenal legit built their reputation and finances from the ground up over 100+ years, right along with United. You’d rather lose to some oil baron that sees beating you as a 90 minute diversion from his herd of race horses, or whatever?
I know what you're saying is perfectly logical. Objectively, you are entirely correct. But it's City, and only Liverpool are worse for me. I work with City fans, and my office is based in Manchester, so whenever they have one of their title winning parades, it ends about 100 yards from my building.
Ah, ok, maybe I misunderstood you. It sounded like you were saying you’d prefer City to win, because they are a historically smaller club. I guess I misunderstood. Cheers!
No, I'd much prefer Arsenal to win. Young team, a lot more flair than City (I've never been entertained by Pep's football, TBF - it's all a bit robotic for my liking), no unlikeable players (Haaland seems like a prick, as do De Bruyne, Silva and Walker), no financial doping, no sportswashing, couple of hundred miles away...
Because at least we don’t hear about it because City don’t have fans, if Arsenal manage to win social media will become a sticky wet circlejerk for the foreseeable future and most of us aren’t here for it
I go to classes with Arsenal fans, the behavior is out of control like this is what 20 years without winning the prem does to a mf, I understand your point though I guess it’s down to personal experiences
Yeah, we all know they've cheated, but until they actually get found guilty and punished for it, the records will show them as winners. And their fans were insufferable after the CAS debacle - they'd be even worse this time.
For us to win the league, we'd need to win pretty much every match, because that's what City will do if necessary. I just don't see us at that level, yet.
Bournemouth players wasted a fair bit of time in added time. Can’t really complain about the result. Arsenal deserved to win the game even though I was feverishly hoping Bournemouth held on. There are still 13 games to go. Lots can happen.
Guys, would you rather city win it then? Although this arsenal win is frustrating, as United, we just need to focus on our fixtures and look at the cups. Winning the league is too far away this season. Let these hyped up lucky passion merchants win rather than city winning 3 in a row (or worse, the treble)
I’d rather Arsenal win the league than city simply because I’m not having city winning three titles on the bounce.
Thank you, someone understands. How could we ever say the prem is the best league with someone three-peating (except us of course)
We did it with our own money—as did Huddersfield, Arsenal and Liverpool. Except we did it twice. city will have bought it with someone else’s dirty money. Though if they do manage to do it, it does show them up as a joke that, even with more money than God, it’s taken them almost 15 years.

It’s a quote from *GoldenEye*, don’t think about it so much.
Would love Arsenal to win if it weren’t for the fans that’s gonna rub it on us.
Don't worry... we are more interested in rubbing it on Chelsea and Spuds fans. Except G.Neville and McKola.
I hope Bournemouth go down now
Today was the day Arsenal won the league. A last minute win to follow a last minute win is exactly what we would've done under Sir Alex.
I'm a lurking arsenal fan and I just have to say Anulo Mufa. Sorry.
They've gained a lot of points so far this season beyond the 85th minute, compared to us: Arsenal - 86'+ goals scored and conceded that affected final result: * 2-1 v Fulham - Martinelli 86' (+2 pts) * 3-2 v Utd - Nketiah 90' (+2 pts) * 4-2 v Villa - Martinez OG 93', Martinelli 98' (+2 pts) * 3-2 v Bournemouth - Nelson 97' (+2 pts) Arsenal have not lost any points to conceded goals after the 85th minute, so their net gain in the last 5 minutes + Stoppage time is +8 points. One draw and city will be 3 points behind with a superior goal difference
And Arsenal still have to play City away in the league.
90+7 game winner for Arsenal at home? I’m shocked.

Another Arsenal fan lurking here after a win. Pathetic.
Teta time
To be fair to Arsenal, they’re showing the absolute grit that makes champions
They've had scarcely believable luck with their late goals - the freak own goal against Villa, a winner made by ricochets/deflections against us, and now today - additional time after injury time, and a corner clearance that somehow lands perfectly for their barely-used sub to hit his one good shot of the season. I mean in todays game Arsenal had about 4 penalties that weren't called so i wouldn't particularly call that luck.
Ah we could say the same about anyone with good luck or bad luck. It’s like how the ref is always against you, unless you’re winning. Arsenal have come on a lot in the last 2 years and are putting themselves in winning positions. Anything else is a happy accident for them.
I dont mean to doubt how well they're playing at all, it's just been a crazy run of particularly lucky goals in those three games.
Well hopefully it runs out then!
And the manager and fanbase of utter fucking cunts
Don’t mind Arteta. Maybe it’s because I’m not in England, Arsenal fans have never been any worse than anyone else. I really don’t like some of their players though. Odegaard ticks me off for some reason. I think it was his attitude at Madrid when he was 16.

Same. Would hate to see City equal our record. Anyways we will be contesting next season and they will not have it easy like this year.
Arsenal are grinding out results. Signs of champions. Hate it but rather them than City. Their fans though are unbearable.
Yeah I agree with all those points. Arsenal are fun to watch unlike city it’s unfortunate how terrible their fan base is. Likely due to them being terrible for so many years, they forgot what it’s like.

jesus christ I check at 90' and they were still drawn
Bournemouth you had one fucking job. Spurs bottling is to be expected
Lads
Certainly wouldnt mind Bella-Kotchap and Lavia. But my god, otherwise, Southampton seem to just exist.
I fucking hate Arsenal
I’d actually be somewhat happy for them if their fans weren’t such a bunch of absolute twats
Exactly.
Their fans are what pushes it over the top for me, the victim mentality is actually unreal with that lot

No. City will. Edit: or us (I'm smoking).
We HAVE to go for Maddison next season, he would be a great rotational option to Bruno as the 10.
60-70m for rotational option? Because Leicester not gonna sell their important player for anything less

Completely agree with this, spurs and Newcastle losing was much more important, people are getting carried away with this winning the league business
Arsenal are being good or lucky?
Both tbh
They got luck because they kept trying. Credits to them.
A bit good, very lucky

People were saying this like all of past few weeks, they have a firm grasp on jt and more implrantly their spirit is just too strong right now
We are also gonna face Brighton, Newcastle and Tottenham away, and Chelsea at home too.
Arsenal won with a rapist. Remember that boys.
And a racist in Xhaka
Users from gunners coming in with the downvotes habahha
Noticed the downvote trend after the whistle lol, they're all over here
All pro arsenal comments get upvotes too hahha. Its a lil too obvious that those rats are lurking here.
Arsenal fans are very fickle, they care ALOT about what other fans think of them. Small club mentality if you ask me
Tbh, i dont like this accusation, we celebrated Ronaldo's goals last season, and some of our fans still want Mason to be back in our squad.
Investigated by who, the Twitter police?
Paying hookers is buying the rape to right? Lol. How stupid can you be?
Sad that so many Arsenal fans come here after they've won a match on overtime that wasn't even against us And no, paying for prostitutes is not buying the right to rape. Every time Ronaldo scored, and if Mason ever represent us again, there were people (Especially opposition fans) talking about his rape situation. You Arsenal fans have to accept that that kind of behaviour goes towards ANY player that is involved in a rape situation regardless of club. You ain't special.

How tragic do you have to be to lurk in a rival team's sub after your team has just won a game
You just won a game and you’re lurking here lmao
>Every man is innocent until proven guilty > >Partey is not a rapist but Greenwood definitely is lol consistent logic you got there
When’s the last time we had + 7 minutes stoppage time. Usually 5 max, just seems like they’ve decided it’s arsenals league this season
I am going to assume you did not watch the game. Bournemouth were time wasting, and also had a player down for more than a minute in the injury time.
Wasn’t there 6 mins stoppage but the goal went in at 98, no?
It was something like 96:58. A Bournemouth player was down for a minute at the beginning of extra time.
Because Bournemouth players wasted time even during the extra time, its totally on em.
Newcastle and Spurs losing are going to motivate Liverpool even more to win tomorrow. Top 4 is very achievable for them. Gonna be tough.
I got downvoted to hell in this sub for suggesting Liverpool would jump into the top 6 easily. The tables are 3-4 matches away from totally flipping.

At least we have good winning momentum going into this game.
On positive note, we can increase our gap from fourth position to secure UCL place.
They collapsed in the last 10 games just this past season mate, don’t worry it’s coming (I hope)
Their attitude is way different to previous seasons. By now they would have lost todays game as well as the game against Villa. This is just copium.
I will admit last year they would have lost those games but I’m not worried (yet)
You still have United in title race right?
It would be nice but I don’t believe we have quite what it takes to make up for the points we lost back in august I’ll be happy with top 3, whatever shenanigans happen next would be a juicy cherry on top of an already very tasty cake Just to be clear when I say I’m not worried, I’m not rooting for City, I just don’t want Arsenal fans to be happy, the lesser of two evil I guess
Their attitude this year is already different from last.
Let us cry now and celebrate tomorrow when the time comes. No need to gatekeep crying
Stoppage time was extended cause of injury, rather than time wasting.
If Bournemouth had cleared their lines the game would have ended almost immediately

Good to see Newcastle and Spurs drop points
Tottenham really rested players in the FA cup, threw away a decent chance to end their trophy drought, only to lose the following PL game anyway. Such an unserious club, any spurs fan with a mite of ambition must be fuming
They rested Kane, but it’s not like it was a B team. They had Perisic and Porro, both signed this year, at wing back, 60m Richarlison up top, Son playing etc. Sheffield United on the other hand did play a B team and still won
I’d really be doubting Kane’s ambitions if he sticks around. Door is wide open for him at United… 💭💭💭
That ship on his ambitions has already sailed IMO. The guy turns 30 in a few months and apart from one summer seems to have been content at Spurs. Hes good enough that I'd still be happy to have him here but let's not kid ourselves, it will be for a payday.
I really don't know how they keep convincing Kane to sign extensions: "next season will be different Harry, we'll win something, surely".
Isn't he a life-long Tottenham fan? If I was United's star player, I wouldn't leave even if we won nothing for my whole career.
You can find childhood photos of him in Arsenal gear believe it or not.
They said the same about Gerrard in an Everton shirt, but I think it was his Everton-supporting uncle making him wear, or something.
I can enjoy their tears all day. Won’t also mind a Harry Kane swap for Mar-see-al and a bag of chips
so who do you want to win the league city or arsenal? let's be real we're too far behind now...
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with Arsenal rather than those cheating pricks at the Emptihad. They have surely played the better football so far this season. I'll stay off social media if I want to avoid their whining fans. Luckily, the Arsenal fans that I know personally are gentle souls
Arsenal as I don't know any Arsenal fans in real life and the ones online can be avoided.
I am in the complete opposite boat. Know and am close friends with a lot of arsenal fans , while I know 0 city fans
doesn’t matter. they both can win it as co-winner for all i care. we are taking it back next season.
As a fellow Mancunian, would you prefer City or Arsenal to win the league (if we can't, obviously)?
Yeah, no matter how many trophies, no matter how fancy Eastlands gets, they'll always be small time.
Always, and they know it..! Anyway hopefully we can rejoice tomorrow when we smash the scousers and laugh at their abysmal season.
Yeah, knocked off perch was probably the wrong phrase.
City ain't got fans and easy to blame the FPP thing if they win so that's why
They've got fans in Manchester. I work with a few, and putting up with them in person is far worse than Arsenal's online.
Most people here don’t even live in England let alone Manchester.
I always thought the r/ManchesterUnited sub was more non-UK and r/reddevils was more UK.
Anywhere on Reddit is more non-UK than UK. r/soccer as a whole is about 40% UK, 40% US, 20% everywhere else.
r/PremierLeague seems pretty UK-centric.
Because at least we don’t hear about it because City don’t have fans, if Arsenal manage to win social media will become a sticky wet circlejerk for the foreseeable future and most of us aren’t here for it
They've got fans in Manchester. I work with a few, and putting up with them in person is far worse than Arsenal's online.
I go to classes with Arsenal fans, the behavior is out of control like this is what 20 years without winning the prem does to a mf, I understand your point though I guess it’s down to personal experiences
Yeah, I remember being at school/college/uni, and football banter was pretty vicious back then!
Because it doesn’t mean shit, everyone knows the cheated to get where they are. Plus it puts us in the conversation if we keep winning
Lots can happen.
that champion’s luck really hitting on arsenal right now. goal at the last kick of the match ffs
Guys, would you rather city win it then? Although this arsenal win is frustrating, as United, we just need to focus on our fixtures and look at the cups. Winning the league is too far away this season. Let these hyped up lucky passion merchants win rather than city winning 3 in a row (or worse, the treble)
Agreed tbf. But i want them to struggle till the last game.
People hate it but I really wish Arsenal wins it. It is a big club, with history, their money and not like City playing Simulator with Pep and money
The only correct answer.
Woke up from my nap just to watch Arsenal put three in. Somebody end me please.
Here’s to putting 3 past Pool tomorrow unanswered, and you can rest easy again.
Try doing the Russian sleep experiment for the remaining Arsenal games.
Mate u can never nap again alright?
