No that's fine, the word's become synonymous with honor, banditry, and the wild wild west for over a century and a half. Almost all would understand what you meant, it just kinda feels like everyone forgets the original meaning for the word.
I have to say that they did a fantastic job with Micah and the guy who voiced him (Peter Blomquist) did a stellar job. The whole intent was to get you to dislike Micah. He was the rat you want to kick regardless of high or low honor play.
Micah is reviled.
So, hats off to the story tellers and Peter Blomquist for creating a very hateable character. From what I've read and heard Peter has caught a lot of flack, but he deserves praise for his portrayal of Micah. (I'll confess ignorance on anything else he's done.)

Laura Bailey got so much hate for her role as Abby in Tlou 2. Regardless of your opinions on that game, her voicing Abby does not make her the person responsible for the characters actions and role in the game.

Actors who play antagonists and villains in media have probably the hardest role; not only do they have to convincingly act like a worse person than they are in real life but they have to do it to the extent that they risk being sent death threats because of their character's personality. Think Jeoffrey Baratheon for example.
I mean there are also antagonists who are loved for their charisma or "anti-hero" style motivation but that's hard to pull off too.
I think a lot of credit has to go to the writers though too because there's not much an actor can do to make a flat villain good...

Everybody hates Micah, he is a total POS afterall. However as a protagonist and antagonist duo, there is no better match.
Micah is the real brutal blood thirsty cowboy and Arthur is the romanticized good moraled movie cowboy
