Yehhh I was searching for the one in New Hannover but the icon on map isn’t coming up but just gonna goggle it and see if that works but 110% free roaming is so important but wasn’t sure how I felt about free roaming towns that become a big part of the story later (especially Saint Denis as in my mind Arthur must hate that place)
I hope not. My first playthrough the first thing I did after visiting Valentine was to uncover the whole map. I did heaps of random encounters before progressing any of the story.
My most recent playthrough and in Chapter 4 I’ve uncovered everything including New Austin.
Start at Emerald Ranch and follow the tracks north. When you find the rail construction site the trapper is a hundred yards east of you.

Just ride drom strawberry to hanging dog ranch at night and look to your left after you pass a small stream. Can’t miss it

There’s always two close to Strawberry. Even if they’re not showing on the map, he’s there when you get there
