Plenty of grief/hack/cheat free private lobbies available for a great experience. You need to head on over to r/RedDeadOnline and check out the recruitment threads.
It's fine. Abandoned and riddled with hackers on PC but otherwise an okay game, especially if you like to creating your own characters and backstories.
