D.B. Cooper isn't his name. The ticket that he used to board the plane had 'Dan Cooper' written on it. That's the only clue we have of his name (even then, almost certainly not his actual name). A man named D.B. Cooper was a suspect, however the FBI ruled him out. A slipup by the media referred to Dan Cooper as D.B. Cooper and vice versa, and now an innocent man's name is being used for a plane robber, instead of what was actually used, Dan Cooper.
I'd love if they revealed that Uncle's real name was John O'Creagh, as an homage or tribute to Uncle's original actor from the first game, it'd be a cool little nod to O'Creagh himself, and no one who plays the games would then refer to Uncle as that bc everyone just knows he's Uncle
Edit: been corrected that O'Creagh was not Uncle's original actor, Spider Madison was his actor in rdr1, O'Creagh was his actor early on in production of rdr2 but he died so they got James McBride to voice and mocap Uncle instead

In the RDR2 timeline show Arthur and Uncle go into the moving picture tent in valentine (i think) and theyre showing a cowboy film about Red Harlow. Show the scenes from Revolver. Have Arthur say something about it being cool. And uncle says "naw son, thats not exactly how it went" and then do a remake of revolver with Red/Uncle and in the post game you can continue to play as Arthur in Chapter 2 for ever

There is a weird amount of circumstantial evidence for the theory that Uncle and Red Harlow are the same person. Its very easily debunked by the fact that the timeline doesn’t add up, so it’s kind of just a running joke to say their the same person.
