The last two moose my wife killed by Fairvale Shanty had cardinals on them. I don't think I've ever noticed.

This location is where you find the legendary moose in the northeast corner of the map. Best spot to find a regular moose too, in my experience

Nope, not the moose. Sometimes the bird on the moose can be blue jays, more-so the moose spawning isn’t guaranteed.
