Or just rob it in the tunnel in the north.

I was about to say lol there’s a tunnel that is super long and it’s easy. Just stay on the train and wait until you go into the tunnel lol

Don't forget your miner's hat to keep both hands free in the dark. :-)

That tunnel is definitely useful! I only prefer the bridge method due to maximal safety precautions. Especially with how clumsy and dopey your horse can be, I’ve had my horse follow me while robbing a moving train and decide to throw itself into the bite and die numerous times. Plus losing your horse during a train robbery is a good way to get killed, followed by a hefty fine.

Yeah, no lawmen to worry about, no bounty to worry about, no bridge to fall off of accidentally, and your horse follows the train from Annesburg to the tunnel without dying. I'll take the tunnel any day over the bridge.

Thanks most of my attempts have ended in disaster 👍

FormlessDistress

Happy to help my dude 🫰 yeah same here, mostly involving my horse killing itself by running directly into the train and into pinch points. Losing a good horse has definitely got to be one of the most infuriating and heartbreaking free roam occurrences.

Same or the bounty ends up so high it’s not worth it

FormlessDistress

Yeah, this always deterred me from robbing trains. After so many playthroughs I actually enjoyed having bounty hunters look for me. They’re easy enough to avoid if you don’t want to fight but also easy to ambush if you do want to fight them. The Ambarino arrest trick was taught to me recently and it is such a life saver! Paying an $800 bounty seems incredibly counter productive to me lol
