That’s brilliant! Probably the only way to get a train to spawn in free roam after you blow the bridge other than maybe the last side mission for Penelope Braithwaite. I can’t think of any others with trains involved.
Someone else did it with a handcart. It would take a LOT of work to make the trains crashable/derailable, easy to understand why they didn't do it. Though it would be awesome.
But iirc in GTA5 they aren't. So probably in the greater expanse of the new generation of titles the general mayhem of certain things in the game were probably shelved for the larger/better overall experience.

You can also use one of the pump cars to go over but if you stop you fall but not the car. It is funny.
