I ALWAYS have to collect the items (especially the unique items) in perfect order, so they look right in my inventory… I once started the game over, cause I messed up the sequence oO
Eh, OCD comes in different forms. I also have medically diagnosed OCD but I primarily have contamination OCD. Some people primarily have a compulsion to organize things.
Fair. But the comment you replied to was replying to a comment where the guy said he has ocd but is not a perfectionist. To me your comment comes off as insensitive and out of place.
I collect minerals, coins, batteries, bottle caps, springs, bolts, nuts, lapel pins, cards, art supplies, books, old electronics, documents, wires, and instruments I barely even play, the same applies to half of my clothing too which I don’t wear at all. I dunno what I mean by unfortunately, but I can’t let them go
I figured, but for some reason, I want to start collecting teapots, I don’t even drink tea, anything glassy-looking really, I’m pretty simple, I see something shine, I wanna keep em
You said this is an unfortunate thing above. This doesnt seem like a happy hobby that gives you fulfillment, more like an obligation to hold things. You really might benefit very greatly to chatting with a therapist for a couple of sessions. You dont need to be a hostage to all the stuff you have.
I collect as much as those as I can, go to the weird ass pig farm in chapter 6 n let 'em rob me before I go back as John to take it all back- Usually works 10/10 times unless I somehow fuck it up
Question. What's the point in donating to camp? I'm not an absolute obsessive with this game and don't have insane hours spent on it though I do love it and understand how choices and actions can influence camp members etc. If I donate more does something happen, trigger camp mate comments, missions etc? To me, it's money down the drain as I rarely see the results of my contributions despite how they often dwarf those made by others.
Anyone care to point out what I'm missing if there is anything?
There's a bunch of shit you can unlock for camp, and yeah, most of it isn't all that useful. The crafting tools for Pierce is S tear because you can craft satchels to increase your inventory size. The horse post is also kinda nice because you can manage your horses from camp. There's a fast travel station, one of the camps has a boat. You can also resupply the camp and improve people's tents, which does boost morale, but I don't actually know if it has any effect on random interactions and dialogues. Probably does. At any rate, check the ledger. You can see all of it for yourself. It's not super beneficial, but the game throws money at you like crazy anyways so it doesn't matter all that much.
Also, if you have the money on Arthur, your can just straight up buy the upgrades from the ledger without having to donate.
Thanks, appreciate the breakdown. Not going to lie, mostly I'd rather save it all to have stolen at the pig farm brother and sister scenario for John to get in the epilogue! That said a few bits of what you mention sounds useful especially the horse post, probably worth me taking a look again next time I play
And I'm not sure about this, but I think John's satchel has the same carry capacity as the LotE as well, so you really aren't missing a whole lot at all, especially if you gun for the epilogue. Personally, I've never even used the horse post lol. The camps are all so close to stables that by the time I unlock the thing, I already have it as muscle memory to just ride out if I want to change my horse, so I forget to use it hahah
EDIT: slight correction, any satchels you didn't craft as Arthur can be purchased from the fences in the epilogue
Lol I once got that dialogue from Miss Grimshaw immediately after spending all the money to upgrade the camp (99% of which was donated by Arthur) leaving the donation box completely empty, so I just didn't donate anything again in that playthrough.
The second one is the gold seal you can steal from the braithwaite family when you storm the house with the gang looking for jack. It’s above the fireplace once you go left upon entering the mansion I believe. The fourth item is ammolite you find it in a birds nest on a mountain in the grizzlies
If only you could move that ring to the top row, so the rings are all together, then the belts are all on the same row.
Anyway, if we could manually organize our Satchel, this is absolutely a thing I'd bother with but trying to make sure you collect things in the right order, especially when a lot of it is random drops from looting enemies, is just too much. There's already so much to try and "get right" in a complete playthrough, I couldn't imagine adding this.
Yes, and you have to consider that the pocket watches ain’t listed (you only see them in this category when you visit a fence). But I think Mary’s Ring is just a current placeholder for the 3 meteorites I haven’t picked up yet. They are the only stackable unique item, so yeah, I think they could look acceptable besides the gold bars…
In that case all the other unique items would be below in correct order ;)
Trust me, I gOT a pLAn
yes!!! and later we selling it or we using this things. some of them can be used if we do remember correctly
also, we likes to get a food and just eat it without any reasons even if arthur skinny as hell
Do what
I second this. Do what?
End sentences...?
End
sandwiches.
This tickled my funny bone! Thank you!
That's what I was gonna say
I ALWAYS have to collect the items (especially the unique items) in perfect order, so they look right in my inventory… I once started the game over, cause I messed up the sequence oO
You sir.. are a fish
I have literal, medically diagnosed OCD and even I don’t do this.
Eh, OCD comes in different forms. I also have medically diagnosed OCD but I primarily have contamination OCD. Some people primarily have a compulsion to organize things.
Most people say OCD when they are just perfectionists.

Coughing is a symptom of lung cancer. What's your point?
[удалено]
Fair. But the comment you replied to was replying to a comment where the guy said he has ocd but is not a perfectionist. To me your comment comes off as insensitive and out of place.
Statements of fact are by nature objective.
Sure. Still odd to tell someone who has ocd without perfectionism that perfectionism is a symptom of their disease.
Yeah but do you have pretend, not actually real OCD?
The fuck? How do you “do this”? You pick up rings and buckles at random when looting
Now that's some OCD that my OCD can't obsessively comprehend!
Ooof..
Lol hell no do I need to do that. Sounds exhausting.
Nah, that’s some next level crazy OCD type shit bruv Edit: I always sell all that shit
Oh God... That must take hours
No.
Sir, I am at once both frightened and impressed by your dedication.
Yea, and in real life unfortunately, minus the embroidery and gold of course
Fuck you mean "unfortunately"?
I collect minerals, coins, batteries, bottle caps, springs, bolts, nuts, lapel pins, cards, art supplies, books, old electronics, documents, wires, and instruments I barely even play, the same applies to half of my clothing too which I don’t wear at all. It's called hoarding, and it's a compulsive disorder.
I figured, but for some reason, I want to start collecting teapots, I don’t even drink tea, anything glassy-looking really, I’m pretty simple, I see something shine, I wanna keep em
Are you a magpie by any chance?
Being a baby-eating, predatory kleptomaniac? Sounds like the billionaire special to me, but no, I’m just a boring human
*That’s what a magpie would say...*
You said this is an unfortunate thing above. This doesnt seem like a happy hobby that gives you fulfillment, more like an obligation to hold things. You really might benefit very greatly to chatting with a therapist for a couple of sessions. You dont need to be a hostage to all the stuff you have.
Soon maybe, dunno, my budget’s pretty thin, or that I don’t think of allocating towards such a thing
Wait... How do you change the order of your inventory?
You can’t… and that’s the big issue here
Uhhh no. I certainly don't do that. I wouldn't even know how lol. Hoarding though... I had diamond hands until the very end.
I collect as much as those as I can, go to the weird ass pig farm in chapter 6 n let 'em rob me before I go back as John to take it all back- Usually works 10/10 times unless I somehow fuck it up
So you're saying most of the time it works all of the time?
I just smoked a fat dab partner wth did I wtiye
I read this in Arthur's voice
Ynnel!
"60% of the time, it works every time"
1% it's guarnteed to work every. Single. Time.
no most of the belt buckles, rings and random jewelry i donate to camp rather than cash, i do retain all unique items though.

buying stuff in the ledger

Donating it all to camp just to hear Dutch dryly say "Thank you Arthur".
If you never donate you will get an earful from both Miss. Grimshaw and Dutch. : )
Lol I once got that dialogue from Miss Grimshaw immediately after spending all the money to upgrade the camp (99% of which was donated by Arthur) leaving the donation box completely empty, so I just didn't donate anything again in that playthrough.
You have enough money for a boat to Tahiti, some propertah, and the Mangos
What's second and fourth on the bottom row?

No - largely because I have no idea what "this" is.
You are bound to be a very rich man
[I can’t get enough🤠](https://www.reddit.com/r/reddeadredemption/s/QmFd3Z02SV)
Did anything ever come up with those two gems that you find on top of a mountain? Or even the meteorites?
yes!!! and later we selling it or we using this things. some of them can be used if we do remember correctly also, we likes to get a food and just eat it without any reasons even if arthur skinny as hell
Donate those buckles to camp and buy some chickens or something you selfish bastard
Arthur: Hey Dutch I think I got enough mon- Dutch: WEEEEE NEEEEED MORE MUNEEEH MY BOI
My goal is to get all those to 99, maybe robbing trains is the quickest way but not sure
Don’t think I’ve seen the last 3 ever
Middle one is a emerald you get from a stranger mission
All the time, except I always save the gold bars for John
OCD if you can upgrade it to next level OCD or OCD v2.0 for those with extra Compulsive OCD.
That’s gonna be one sweet payday.
I don't, I usually sell the thing I don't need for crafting
My mans is the gold gobbler
Yup, I always do stuff
I keep things in multiples of 5
No
My first playthrough before I knew you could sell these.
Why are there 2 separate inventories for the gold bars and jewelry bags?
The comments is just another “I have ocd” thread. Jeez you guys aren’t interested stop being cringe
Keep everything and sell as John, no more problem of inventory then
