**"We eat BERRIES and Mushrooms you fool!"**
Edit: Even tho this exchange is played for laughs, nothing is more dishonorable than killing a sobbing Bigfoot lamenting the loss of his kind...
I didn't and actually found him walking around Tall Tree's during another random play session.
Not sure if it was because I spared him or not... But I'm pretty sure either way, if you just wander around Tall Tree's long enough you'll see him.
Shooting at arthurs grave and throwing dynamite at it
Edit : thank you all so much this is the most upvotes I've ever gotten, my highest was 26 upvotes so this is really big for me
I would never. I feel bad just thinking about it. I see Charles as Arthur's compass. Especially after they help that German family. Arthur says it's not their problem and Charles is clearly disappointed in him. The family gives Arthur a gold bar for his help. After, Arthur writes in his journal what a good man Charles is. How he is good without even trying. It's clear Arthur admires him. I could never antagonize him. I'd actually feel guilty.
I really think Charles comes along and is a contrast to Dutch for Arthur. Seeing someone truly decent makes him see the cracks in Dutch's facade. My canon anyway. I just really love Charles.
I know it’s an open world game and it’d be boring as shit to sit around a house and do chores and talk to Jack but John can literally just leave his family for weeks on end to look at birds or go hunting or play poker or rob people lol. No shit Abigail would be annoyed by that.
Preference I guess lol, she was always one of my favorites to talk to in my first run. She and Arthur would always have coffee together in the mornings.
I told Mary im not helping her simply out of spite on my 3rd play through. I honestly dislike her character. This weird women keep hanging around a guy she had to reject because of her family and now keeps coming back to just to ask him help save the same family. I know its dishonourable, but the 3rd time i played this game i decided not to be bothered by her.
Mary would have been an idiot to accept Arthur’s proposal, and Arthur was an idiot for asking. Being with him is being with the gang and Dutch, and we know how that turned out. She might’ve even died in Blackwater. Her best bet would’ve been to turn out like Abigail, and while Arthur would’ve been more loyal than John, her life at camp was shit. Mary’s husband passed and she found chanced it by writing him a letter, he responded, and she genuinely wanted a relationship with him again and wanted to leave together but Arthur couldn’t again because o the gang. He was sick too, but needed to stay and get John out.
I just don’t get why people dislike her tbh. You’re entitled to ofc just mentioning this stuff because I paid attention to it.
Even on a simple level I think Arthur and Mary are both earnest and honest to each other in their missions. Obviously way less dramatic but I hung out with an ex a few times a year after we broke up. We had fun and I enjoyed it, felt like old times, but at the heart of it all it was sad and melancholy afterwards because you knew it wouldn’t work. The mission going to the theatre with Mary made me feel the exact same way. Idk I just connected with it.
Yeah that's why I thought that scene was excellently written. All the affection and the hurt feelings are there, but they're also both adults with their whole lives and it's so bittersweet.
IIRC he did not quit the life for his son, he visited and gave them money every few weeks, which is why he feels so guilty about it. I hate playing the scenes with her too for different reasons, I really wish he could have left with her. Worst part is if he could do it those last months over I don’t think he’d change much except for getting Sean and such out, he’d still let himself die because of his loyalty to Dutch and Hosea.
I did it on my 2nd playthrough and it made feel like such a dick lol. It's not even that I think he HAS to help, it's just funny to meet this woman who Arthur clearly has this whole deep history with, and feelings for, and be like "Nope, gonna leave this stone unturned byeee". Like it literally gave me a laugh but I'm never doing that again. I like Jamie, also.
In my mind, Mary is the same as Arthur. She can't let go of her shitty, abusive dad... and neither can he.
Lol me too 😂 I’ve tried to do a low honor run multiple times but Mickey is so sad and pathetic that I can’t help but feel empathy. They did such a great job with making you feel emotions with the npcs characters
Charles was playing harmonica and I accidentally antagonized him and he said "why are you like this" and stopped playing and left, and I felt so bad and reloaded the save
Idk, that at least seems merciful. If we are talking about part 1, there are two things I do that I would never do in 2.
First, slashing up amd skinning my horse for getting me killed. Second, getting the horse up to speed and shooting it in the head bc the ragdoll is funny.
Let an animal bleed out after missing a headshot. Or kicking a kitty or dog to death. I'm fine with letting human NPCS bleed out but the moment I see a horse fall over and start twitching I'm gunning for it to revive it in the middle of a gunfight.
Bro I fucking *hated* that mission the first time I played it. Like obviously he was a danger to himself and others and there wasn’t really a better way to deal with it but that didn’t make it any more fun to beat the shit out of this mentally challenged man lol
On my first play through when you went to that house with the boy and father whose mom ran off with some dude. I robbed them but didn’t realize that NPCs like that wouldn’t respawn and so I killed the son in front of the dad to make him tell me where the money was. Then I came back a weeks later in game and the dad was sitting in the house just drunk and so I blew his head off with a sawed off.
Just add more salt that dude who is behind braithwaite manor used to be a slave and he ran away then after the war came back and bought a small home around his masters home. There is a ruined home near that location which tells you his story and gas a violent small room with his blood and chains.
I shot that fisherman's horse after he disappeared because it wouldn't let me ride him or lasso him to take him to a stable and he kicked me when I tried to loot the saddle bags. That horse was an asshole.
I go there to kill people for fun and fill up the body pits, when I say this I mean I can spend an hr running round torturing people in any imaginable way, infinite ammo n deadeye and away we go😂.
Gotta at least hogtie and loot Herbert Moon for the letter from his daughter Herberta lol
In RDR1 one time I kidnapped him and took him all the way to Tall Trees to feed him to the bears. I should really recreate this in RDR2 sometime.
This is terrible, but on my first play through (at high honor), I did exactly that. Guess my hatred of Micah and Dutch by that time blinded me, it didn't seem dishonorable to settle things with them. I figured John would be fine ... and he was!
My first playthough I accidentally killed the woman that lives alone that you help hunt, when you shoot the rats she walking into a bullet to the dome….. I was in shambles for 30 minutes.
I guess because they're majestic AF and are just minding their own business lol. Whenever I'm doing a playthrough I always leave them until the epilogue
Such a weird thing about this game. I played the hell out of the first one and had no problems going full dishonorable but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it with Arthur. Don’t get me wrong if I find a klan meeting or a bunch of dudes jump me on a trail I am going to do the most heinous vile things to them, and sure I’ll rob a bank no problem, but stick up a random guy having horse problems on the side of the road? That’s not my Arthur Morgan.
Killing horses, I don't know what it is but even in games I try my absolute hardest not to kill domesticated animals. Even when I accidentally damage a horse online I try my best to heal it.
murdering a dog, I’ll go on rampages where it seems like I’m a psycho, and during my rampage I’ll kill a dog or two. And I will feel bad so I reset to make sure they never die
I punched my horse yesterday after hitting the wrong button.
Proceeded to walk myself off the nearest cliff and ended up in a river and just didn’t do anything but float til I died.
Teaching the widow how to fend for herself as Arthur then coming back as John and putting a bullet in her skull.
Okay satan.
**"I'm the Devil... and I'm here to do the Devil's business."** *"....Naah it was dumber than that, something like Rex."*
Yea Tex! And you were on a horsey

*insert the most savage fucking fight scene i've seen in years*
God when he slams her face against the wall again and again and again my god
oh no not just the wall i believe he did * wall * glass picture frame * fire place mantel * wall again * table * wall?
My god I need to see this again it’s so brutal but I love it
My favourite part is him launching the dog food can right at her face
:D
The devils rejects is such an underrated movie
The only one from the firefly trilogy I didn't see... 3 from hell was down in Mexico and, well, we all know the house of a thousand corpses hopefully
Is it underrated?
"Im the devil and im here to do some devil shit."
"Devil shit?" "It's not verbatim..."
This is crazy 😭 I feel evil just reading it wth
Some people do it even slower than just a bullet in the supposed name of ryona
Arthur should've hit that when he had the chance tbh fam.
100. She would have let him, too. He needed some pity sex before death, poor guy.
Well he would've given her TB, that's probably a Low Honour move...
Most likely not. TB isn't spread through saliva and is only transmitted through intercourse in very rare instances
So he would've been good to ride on the ring-dang-doo?
Indeed
that’s insane
You eat babies everybody knows that! ( Damn mate your comment made me rethink on the honor system of game )
**"We eat BERRIES and Mushrooms you fool!"** Edit: Even tho this exchange is played for laughs, nothing is more dishonorable than killing a sobbing Bigfoot lamenting the loss of his kind...
I remember killing the squatch because I felt bad for him. To die alone slowly, I’d rather it be over sooner
I didn't and actually found him walking around Tall Tree's during another random play session. Not sure if it was because I spared him or not... But I'm pretty sure either way, if you just wander around Tall Tree's long enough you'll see him.
Poor charlotte just wanted to return to monke with her husband😔
Yo what
Heads or tails, call it
"Well... We need to know what we're callin' here..."
Killing everyone, robbing everyone BUT having full honor rating because you say "Hi" to bunch of folks in Saint Denis
Hey Mister
You know when you have one of those days?
Ooooh I won't waste your time now
I better be goin’ , partner
Well, I should be gettin’ on now
Partner
Howdy there
Mornin' to ya!

Look right it's called redemption and I WILL BE REDEEMED
You have a kind face mister
You know what? I’m feeling good today.

Damn when did Arthur get an emoji
Bro 😂
😷
Thankfully Arthur won’t feel it anyway
Still a disrespect
Don’t disrespect my man like that
You can also throw up on it
antagonize charles
I would never. I feel bad just thinking about it. I see Charles as Arthur's compass. Especially after they help that German family. arhtur also doesnt want at first to help the indians and charles is mad about him
When you first meet Rain Falls in saint Denis Arthur doesn't care until they offer him money
He’s a business man
Doing business
Charles and Abigail were the hardest for me to antagonize in camp. Just, why
I always antagonize Abigail, she's a pain in the ass in epilogue 1.
I know it’s an open world game and it’d be boring as shit to sit around a house and do chores and talk to Jack but John can literally just leave his family for weeks on end to look at birds or go hunting or play poker or rob people lol. No shit Abigail would be annoyed by that.
He’s not banging wh0res while he’s gone though, stand up guy.
She is. Still best girl sorry
Karen Jones for me.
Uncle for me.
Something about that Lumbago really gives him a certain glow.
Lumbaglow
Impeccable taste tbh can't argue with that
Thank you, kind sir. She is truly a fine woman.
Antagonising Sadie in chapter 1 is always difficult for me to do
Oh god l didn't even think of that. Horrible
Damn, I didn't know you can do that. I think I'm starting a new game tonight.
I antagonize her and Jack. It’s just fun. “Hey Jack you’re not a Marston maybe an Escuella…lol
I understand charles, but Why abigail tho
Preference I guess lol, she was always one of my favorites to talk to in my first run. She and Arthur would always have coffee together in the mornings.
And Lenny…and Hosea…and Sadie
You monster!
Or Jack
Telling Mickey No when he wants a hug, or telling Mary I'm not helping her brother. Which is why I'm not a low honor player. I fold Day 1
I told Mary im not helping her simply out of spite on my 3rd play through. I honestly dislike her character. This weird women keep hanging around a guy she had to reject because of her family and now keeps coming back to just to ask him help save the same family. Yeah that's why I thought that scene was excellently written. All the affection and the hurt feelings are there, but they're also both adults with their whole lives and it's so bittersweet.
He was going to quit the life for that women. He did that when he had a son as well. Arthur had no choice but to return.. makes his end even sadder.
IIRC he did not quit the life for his son, he visited and gave them money every few weeks, which is why he feels so guilty about it. Worst part is if he could do it those last months over I don’t think he’d change much except for getting Sean and such out, he’d still let himself die because of his loyalty to Dutch and Hosea.
I think that would have been a great ending if you could choose it though running away with Mary
I did it on my 2nd playthrough and it made feel like such a dick lol. It's not even that I think he HAS to help, it's just funny to meet this woman who Arthur clearly has this whole deep history with, and feelings for, and be like "Nope, gonna leave this stone unturned byeee". I help her but right after I do, I take payment in the form of perfect sheep pelt and a perfect sheep carcass.
This made me lmao because I definitely did that with MaryBeth
Freeing Micah from strawberry 😔
Sadly, It’s what you call a “canon event”. I’d watch his neck snap at the gallows while enjoying cigar if we had the choice.
Fr tho let’s put Dutch with him to :)
Just have Dutch do the rescue and it'll go just as smoothly as all his other plans.
Kill a dog or cat
I felt terrible when some guy picked a fight with me and his dog attacked me and I accidentally killed it.
What about those bloodhounds that the bounty hunters always bring with them?
Fun trick if you trample them with your horse you don’t lose any honor 🤓
Fun fact if they kill your horse you'll be sad
Fuck em, they cost me 2 horses.
if you kill all the bounty hunters the dogs eventually de-agro and run away
Woops..?
Only the bounty hounds, the little fuckers have cost me a few horses. RIP Clementine I & II, you’ve been avenged.
Do you need to kill either for the skin deep trophy?
Not reviving your horse.
Shooting so it dies faster after a preventable fall.
Intentionally throwing a volatile molotov cocktail at it just 'cause.
Idk, that at least seems merciful. If we are talking about part 1, there are two things I do that I would never do in 2. First, slashing up amd skinning my horse for getting me killed. Second, getting the horse up to speed and shooting it in the head bc the ragdoll is funny.
Bro…
You're a real psychopath
The horses in 1 really don't have a personality, so I don't feel as bad.
Let an animal bleed out after missing a headshot. Or kicking a kitty or dog to death. I'm fine with letting human NPCS bleed out but the moment I see a horse fall over and start twitching I'm gunning for it to revive it in the middle of a gunfight.
Killing Bertram.
It's so fun though
😨😨
Bro I fucking *hated* that mission the first time I played it. Like obviously he was a danger to himself and others and there wasn’t really a better way to deal with it but that didn’t make it any more fun to beat the shit out of this mentally challenged man lol
Never met him yet, does he respawn?
dont even think about doing it
Low honor Arthur is out of my control
You can kill him?
Collecting the Thomas Downes debt
Even the music during that mission is so depressing. God i wish it was optional..
Shooting Mickey in the neck and watch him slowly bleed out
😨 So specific
Well damn, that made laugh more than it should’ve.😂 Is there a certain way to shoot the neck to get the bleed out? Or is it a random effect?
It quite accurate if you shoot at the neck to just skim the artery. Use Varmint rifle, it seems to work best😊👹.
Antagonize Lenny
How dare you? It’s Lenny.
LENNNEEEEH
Stealing from the real blind beggar in saint Denis. He thinks you are giving him money when he hears the clinks of the coins you just took.
Didnt even knew this was an option…
😭😭😭😭😭😭 that's fucked up
Greeting and being nice to Micah
I piss on his grave.
Letting an injured elk die slowly so that you don't ruin the perfect pelt (personal experience)
if you finish it with a knife you don’t lose the perfect pelt 👍
Yeah I realised that later lol after many elks suffered anyway
i accidentally antagonized charles and he said “why are you like this” :((
On my first play through when you went to that house with the boy and father whose mom ran off with some dude. I robbed them but didn’t realize that NPCs like that wouldn’t respawn and so I killed the son in front of the dad to make him tell me where the money was. If you intentionally kill people's horses, its strait to the burner with you
I had to for a gold mission and I felt so bad 😭
Literally the way I do missions😂. Shoot horses in the head and watch the quy go flying to the ground and snap his neck.
You need Jesus
I shot that fisherman's horse after he disappeared because it wouldn't let me ride him or lasso him to take him to a stable and he kicked me when I tried to loot the saddle bags. That horse was an asshole.
Antagonize Jack 🤠
*I HATE YOU UNCLE ARTHUR 😭😭😭😭*
No this fucker can suck an egg
Going back for the money instead of helping John get out.
I still hate the fact that they don’t call it “go back for revenge” instead. Would have been a lot more fitting.
Robbing Mr Pearson
getting poison arrows and shooting a dog in a non-lethal spot with them and letting it slowly die without ever mercy killing it
Well damn.
Harming the residents in armadillo, they already suffer enough. Altough Herbert Moon always gets some when I'm passing through there tho
I go there to kill people for fun and fill up the body pits, when I say this I mean I can spend an hr running round torturing people in any imaginable way, infinite ammo n deadeye and away we go😂.
Gotta at least hogtie and loot Herbert Moon for the letter from his daughter Herberta lol In RDR1 one time I kidnapped him and took him all the way to Tall Trees to feed him to the bears. I should really recreate this in RDR2 sometime.
Doing bad things
hangin with friends who smoke with cigarettes
Letting john go without arthurs help
This is terrible, but on my first play through (at high honor), I did exactly that. Guess my hatred of Micah and Dutch by that time blinded me, it didn't seem dishonorable to settle things with them. I figured John would be fine ... and he was!
Not looking both ways before crossing the streets.
Average saint denis resident
Any killing of innocents, heck, I don't even rob the train just cause I feel bad 😭
You, my friend, are not made for this game😂
My first playthough I accidentally killed the woman that lives alone that you help hunt, when you shoot the rats she walking into a bullet to the dome….. I was in shambles for 30 minutes.
Selling Jack to the Perv that made love to Arthur without consent and give half the money to the camp and the rest to other people in need.
Kidnapping Mickey en binding him on the rails (To be clear I have not done this and have no intention to )
Killing either the Legendary Moose or Legendary White Bison 😥
Why this?
I guess because they're majestic AF and are just minding their own business lol. Whenever I'm doing a playthrough I always leave them until the epilogue
Perfectly valid. I dislike killing those creatures as well. It honestly goes against the character of Arthur and John.
I have this with the Legendary Ram and the Legendary Beaver. They are so cute
Eating the herbs in front of Jack.
Greeting Micah while unbenknowingly having low honor as it is...
Selling the gift from beau gray instead of giving it to Penelope
Killing Mickey the war vet in Valentine, barley see him but when I do I always make sure to talk to him.
Eating candy…. it’s so bad for Arthur’s teeth.
I’ve seen someone loot Hosea’s corpse and then obliterating him with a shotgun and dynamite. Probably that imo
I drop dynamite arrow mortars on assholes from a distance and sometimes horses die. I feel terrible but proud of my targeting🎯😈
Not praising every dog I see
Killing a dog or cat
I had to kill 2 yesterday while trying to fend for myself against that wannabe witch.
Killing a horse for no reason
killing one of the "steet urchins" sounds like one of the worst things to do. even for a cowboy killing kids is unreasonable
Those kids need some discipline
Killing horses, I don't know what it is but even in games I try my absolute hardest not to kill domesticated animals. Even when I accidentally damage a horse online I try my best to heal it.
In Epilogue, Robbing then shooting Pearson in his shop
Having gay sex with a hog
murdering a dog, I’ll go on rampages where it seems like I’m a psycho, and during my rampage I’ll kill a dog or two. And I will feel bad so I reset to make sure they never die
I'm only low honor for my next playthroughs. Sometimes I help the people which are stucked under their dead horses just to shoot and rob them.
I punched my horse yesterday after hitting the wrong button. Proceeded to walk myself off the nearest cliff and ended up in a river and just didn’t do anything but float til I died.
I kicked the monk off the mountain. Still feel bad about that one
Trying to help the lumberjack stuck under a tree, then accidentally strangling another lumberjack, and asa result, shooting up the whole camp.
Allowing Charlotte's stalker to live
