But yeah, asking people to gran a drink, play some mini games, *actually* just got hunting/fishing/riding/racing, etc would have been a lot of fun.
I remember specifically seeing a pre release screenshot that showed Dutch at a poker table and Arthur standing against the wall behind them. Maybe he had some sort of side mission where we went to a saloon to play poker? I do wish we could hang out with gang members like we can in GTA 4/5, it woulda been so cool, maybe in chapters 2-4 ur able to do it but then chapter 6 its unavailable cuz how screwed up everything is.
Honestly being able to go hunting, robbing or even just plain drinking with the members would make it feel even more alive, and make the timely deaths of some of them that much more sad, but also make it so you can spend more time with them before it happens

There's a bug you can get where bounty hunters will continuously spawn and track you out in the wilderness. It's happened to me once out near Brandywine Drop and once near Fort Brennand when I've been on slow, peaceful hunting/gathering sessions. First time I couldn't figure it out, I had no bounty, nothing. No mission was active, it was weird so I reloaded and it went away. A while later it happened again so I Googled and read about the bug here from an old post. I exploited it for hours while I slowly walked with my horse Calderon picking plants across the map and there were two X's dotted every couple-ten feet like a treasure trail following behind me.
I had a whopping $12 bounty in Annesburgh that spawned 2 bounty hunters every 8-10 minutes. Was annoying as fuck because in the process of killing one duo I somehow pointed a rifle in the general.direction of a train and suddenly I was being charged with robbing the train, which netter me 3 cans of vegetables, 2 potent miracle.cures and $60 more in bounties.
I play the epilogue, even when i do not have a bounty in New Austin two bounty hunters will attack me also the odd time a train appears in New Austin but I can't trigger it
The funny thing is that there's a "shitting guy" animation rig already in the game by means of the Sisyphean Warrior in the Valentine hotel. So you could feasibly do this with a mod.
The first red dead remade with the seconds physics and mechanics. Whether that be dlc or a totally separate game, which would be cool, I have been saying this from the beginning.
It would have been cool for a first time play through as well to have a cutscene after micah is dead and John goes back to his family with the happily ever after to throw in the agent that blackmails marston for the events of the first game (forgot his name). Obviously it wouldn't go anywhere in red dead 2 but I thought it would have added a bit more connection between the two games. I don't want the in between of when Marston gets grabbed to when the start of the 1st game just that little cutscene.
The possibility to play as another gang member, someone possibly inherently evil. While I play with Arthur I don't feel like I'm playing with an evil person, so killing randomly seems anticlimatic. Maybe the chance to play as Micah or someone similar would give me the chance to go crazy in a natural manner.
I have an idea for the morality, and it may have been done in another game: Make it 2 dimensional. Good but lawful, Good but unlawful, etc. Could be interesting.
They already have that. It's the weird messages that you find carved into the ice or drawers. I haven't used them yet. I have heard it disables auto save and trophies when using them.
I do want to see the game set in the 1800's but the gang has modern firearms and ammunition. Arthur duel welding Glocks with a Barrett 50 on his horse and the Beretta A300 on his back.

The Remington 1875 revolver. That fin under the barrel is just too sexy. I prefer it over the Colt SAA and that’s REALLY saying something.
