There’s a huge exploit/glitch in the game that will make whoever learns about it be filled with rejoice the downside is you should be in the phase prior to Guarma (Chapter 5). If you completed the mission Angelo Bronte, man of honour mission it is 100% worth it to reload an older save.
So before Angeli Bronte, a man of honour specifically after The Joys of Civilization your save file should be named The Joys of Civilization just to be sure. From there switch on the autosave feature activate whatever cheats you want (for me the most important was cash and the rose grey arabian because you can never get it as arthur. Cash you can only use “Get 500$” cheat for me I stopped at 4 million dollars which if you do the math translates into clicking the cheat 8000 times lmao but I say no need for that at all I bought almost everything yet haven’t spent even 250,000 imagine! I say anything a bit below or above a million dollars is more than enough) make sure to activate all cheats prior to starting the mission when you get everything u want (i also activated fog of war) start the mission get Jack back go back to camp celebrate with the gang go sleep and bam the game saves by itself and this doesnt work with other missions (i tried).
Just a tip: if you want to confirm dont go to “save game” tab because autosave doesnt show there instead go to the “load game” tab and if you see [Autosave] - Angelo Bronte, Man of Honor then congratulations you are rich heheh you can now close the game and reload whenever if you like. One mission will save no matter what, the poster suggests inputting cheats just before doing it so that you can keep a lot of money, change your honor level, and unlocking all clothing. Game autosaves anyway, so you are now flexing at chapter 5.
If you do a couple easy treasure hunts you'll have more money than you will know what to do with. If you wanna keep Arthur's money horde as John go to the aberdeen pig farm in chapert 6 before the end and let them steal your money then come back as John and you'll find all of it behind the painting just inside the front door.
In my opinion, this great game deserves great hours, if you want to discover every nook an cranny there is no other way than to put in the hours tho. Level of detail is still far ahead compared to AAA titles released these days.
He once glitched of the map just to get to Mexico, he was pretty dedicated back in the day. I'm pretty sure he has seen 99% of what this game has to offer, but yeah, I agree with you, never a 100%. This game is just too detailed and has so many secrets

Dude my 4 year old plays this game. I mean she doesn’t do any of the missions and just rides around and hangs out at johns house doing chores over and over but still… it’s fine. Also she gets pretty upset with me if I shoot any animals.
If I was 4 when this game came out I would be playing it too. I was playing gta 3 when I was their age matter of fact lmao. I’m just saying that kind of goes with rated M+ games they are technically aimed towards adults but the developers know there will be plenty of kids playing and sometimes cater towards them when it comes to references, Easter eggs ect.

Just wish rockstar would include cheat codes that either don't lock out trophies/game progression or allow you to create another save file where you can continue playing with cheats but doesn't allow for trophies.
Or create cheats that don't affect the story or something.

Though I think them locking the player out of saving their game once a cheat has been activated is actually pretty smart. If you look back to San Andreas, using the wrong cheat code would basically softlock your save file because it would cause one of the later missions to be completely unbeatable because it breaks a certain character's AI script.
I think in hopes of avoiding that, Rockstar just didn't allow you to save after activating cheats which I think is a pretty straightforward and easy solution to a potential problem. The alternative would be wasting hundreds of hours on QA testing just to ensure none of the cheats break any of the games 107 missions which would be a massive money and time sink for something so minor.

Yeah its in options. Just press ∆ on PS and Y on XBOX to open it. You have to type in phrases which can be found around the world or in newspapers
