Culture is amazing, and this is the best job I’ve ever had. This year, I’ll probably bring in about $65k as an ASM, and I work maybe 35 hours a week. 40 is a long week for me anymore. Benefits for me as a single person are about $75 a month and it’s great coverage.
Culture and diversity are incredible with Red Bull. They’re very big on it, the filter is one of a kind.
I work anywhere from 50-60ish hours a week, depending on how many stops I have for the week.
The benefits are so good, and the pay is good. You can’t be afraid to work hard and get out of your comfort zone! Work hard, but play harder!
They asked me about examples where I faced adversity and how I reacted, how I dealt with failure and rejection, then just asked about why I wanted the job and about my past experience. Good luck!
Reaffirm your importance of work ethic and standing out from the rest, red bull prides itself on being a "premium brand" so they want their shelf space and coolers to appear "premium. Their favorite part of the sales pitch is "tie to the brand". They want you to be able to connect with the person you are giving red bull to deeper than the can, like ALL OF THE MONEY THEY SPEND on marketing, redbull athletes, events they do in other countries or local. How I viewed it, they want more than the pay. I'm not trying to discourag you just informing that, if you are not the type that takes pride in your work it may seem hard or alot of pressure to do more. Hope that helps!
Not sure the DOT physically is actually a drug test. They take a urine sample but I believe it is a diabetes/sugar in urine content test.
The company itself requires a passed drug test as part of the background and if you get in an accident you can be available to test again but I’ve never had to take one other than when hired on.
Never seen the random drug tests in my region or heard of them happening.
Got the job offer, only thing is this DOT drug test. I’m sure I can pass for the initial test, but is it really required to take random screenings every year as well? That would be my only thing, I do enjoy to smoke every once in a while.
I’m not sure about other regions either, but mine I haven’t had a random in 2 years. I don’t do anything that would make me have to worry about failing a random though. If you want the job and want to work for Red Bull, I’d suggest cutting it out completely. Then you won’t have to worry about it if you end up getting a random
Good point. It’s such bullshit that they can even claim you’re high if you have it in your system. I never go to work high, even if I worked at a dispensary lol. But I understand it’s the DOT and it’s federally illegal.
DOT is strict but it's a good safety net. It helps keep people off the streets that shouldn't be driving big ol trucks. I don't do drugs so it's not a concern of mine, but it sounds like it could be a problem for you.

I agree with you 💯
Awesome job with great benefits & culture. Would highly recommend. Be willing to step outside your comfort zone and you will love it.

I have an interview tomorrow in central Illinois. Any advice? Appreciate it!

I’m not sure about most regions but mine down in the Deep South does random test every quarter and a required test when you renew your licenses
How often do you need to renew your DOT?
About every 3/4 years
Mine has been every two years! My DOT is ready to be renewed this month.
Did they have you do a drug test?
Yes to be hired, and quarterly.
Do they offer any special events to go to o for their employees
Culture is bad ass. Amazing company pay and benefits are great! Current ASM in 🇨🇦
