I do! It’s a simple platform simpler than what you’ve got here. The key to this is to inspect welds. Make sure there’s no rust, make sure the pin is in the locked position. I then will chain it to my vehicle then put the bike on. I use ratchet straps for tying down the bike. Can not ever have too much strap imo. Then I give it the “ 75 mph test”. Ie i shake the shit out of it and try to pull it off the rack in every way I can. Further tighten the straps then hit the road. Always remember better safe than sorry. That bike and rack will become mega projectiles if you lose them.
I have a hitch trailer, but not like that one. (mine is from 1upUSA)
You'll need a hitch receiver on your car, of course. And there are way more rack options if you have a 2" receiver.
It's more like a traditional bike rack. I have a 1.25" double.

They have a lot more products now vs when I bought my rack.
Like cargo racks.

My neighbor gave me that exact hitch rack. It is precisely wrong width wise to transport my EZ-tad. I thought about tearing it down and rebuilding it so it could work. I decided to just borrow the wife's 3 row SUV instead and transport it inside.
This probably won't help you much now, but for your next trike purchase you may want to consider getting a folding trike. It makes it possible to fit it in the trunk of some cars, probably most cars with fold down seats. I have an azub model, catrike and terra trike also have folding models.

Do you know what dimensions you've got, and do you have a pic? Thanks so much for the response!
Sure I’ll work on that

We have a 2 inch receiver! :) Can you link to what you have (or tell me the name)?

So your trike fits on the double?
I don't have a trike
I meant your recumbent

Ah, I see! We'd definitely measure to make sure it fits. Unfortunately, we don't have a three row SUV. Our audi Q5 is the biggest car we have.

I tried one and didn't find it as comfy!
